Not only is the owner very pleasant to deal with, she has great suggestions re: matting and frames. I couldn't be happier with the results.

They wanted to charge me to send someone out to evaluate. I've worked with many upholsterers, this is a new twist. I didn't like it and declined. If they want to improve, they could ask more questions. Btw, after I posted this, they contacted me and kind of gave me a hard time, asking me to take down my review, and saying they gave me a quote--which wasn't really true. They gave me a wide range within which their chair charges generally fall. A quote is a written contract that lists YOUR piece, with a specific cost number, and a specific promise of delivery. Seemed unethical.

They have not kept up their home at all, for many, many years. My parents noticed tiles that had fallen off the bathroom shower wall making the shower unusable. The other shower had been out of commission for years due to a plumbing leak. My parents were showering at the gym once a week. Joel came out within a few days after we contacted him and provided a detailed estimate within a day or two which was more than fairly priced. He followed up with us and was called back to the house a few times, to go over the quote and the project with my parents. He was understanding of the situation and spent a lot of time making sure they understood everything, pointing out where everything would go and drawing pictures. He was not pushy and had a lot of patience. The project quickly grew from two bathrooms to two bathrooms with a complete expansion of the master bathroom by reworking the walk-in closet, removal of wallpaper on walls and ceiling, paint of master bathroom, carpet removal, and refinishing hardwood floor. We decided to go with Joel. He was able to start within two weeks. Knowing that he was working with older people, he not only provided my parents with places to get the hardware (plumbing supplies, tile, vanity, paint ect) but he even called to make appointments for them and joined them at the appointments for guidance. If my parents could not make the appointments, he went out of his way to make sure they had choices to choose from. He dropped off a color sample of the vanity and also did a lot of the leg work that my parents couldn't do, which was greatly appreciated. The project was going smoothly. Joel consistently sent updates and pictures of the progress and communicated well with me. Then, when I went to the house to meet with Joel, I noticed the half bathroom downstairs had a water drip. Thats when I convinced my parents to renovate the half bathroom. It didn't prolong the original project. He demoed the bathroom and used the leftover tile and paint from one of the other bathrooms. He went and purchased ALL the supplies, hauled them back to the house and had it done by the timeframe. He finished the project on time and made everything as easy as it could be. He even referred a cleaning service, duct cleaning service, and carpet shampooing service. The finished bathrooms are gorgeous! They did a great job. I would highly recommend using Joel Braun Construction.

I have a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe that has the 2.0 GTI turbo motor. I noticed in January while doing…read moremaintenance and had an O2 sensor go bad that our oil had metal shavings showing on the dipstick. I immediately made an appointment with the dealership and was seeking them to repair or replace the motor. The dealership got back to me and told me that there was nothing they could do and that the metal shavings were not excessive later. I called and took the car back in and they found metal shavings in the oil control valve yet again they denied the claim for repair or warranty mind you my vehicle has 80,000 miles on it which the 10 year hundred thousand mile warranty should cover this. Also there is the class action lawsuit for these GDI motors that should cover it as well. Hyundai does not stand behind their product nor their warranties. Please be advised to stay far away from Hyundai Kia Genesis from any purchases as they will leave, you stranded and they will not stand behind their product, leaving you in a huge financial burden as the motor replacements are very costly. I would never recommend anyone to buy a Hyundai. I have taking it in again for motor noise and smelling of burning from the engine compartment today the vehicle had left. My family stranded on the highway where they could have been seriously injured. I have other friends that have been left stranded with their vehicle, catching fire and completely burning to the ground. left them stranded in a place with no phone service. I called recently on Saturday to let the dealership know that the vehicle had fuel smell in the oil and I never received a call back I had to call them and let them know that my vehicle had left. My family stranded to make it a situation in which they still had told me there was probably nothing they could do because Hyundai had denied the claim all the way up through the Better Business bureau through the arbitration with the denial now my family is left without a vehicle and could have been seriously injured.

He went above and beyond to make sure I was fully understanding of the recalls and the resolutions his team and himself completed towards the repairs needed to get my car safely on the road. He brought to my attention more than I was even aware of. I went as far as letting Hyundai Consumer Affairs know of his due diligence and all his work ethics he provided in satisfaction and completion of all recalls being satisfied to be road worthy. I will always return to Hyundai due to my satisfaction with the outcome he made sure to provide and none the less. Wherever he may go in his future endeavors I will be sure to be his #1 purchaser of any future cars he sales and services wether Hyundai or Porsche or BMW whichever he may decide in his future to stand behind. If it remains Hyundai then I will be forever a Hyundai merchant. Thank you so very much Larry and to your amazing team you lead for always providing me with the absolute best customer service.
