Majestic exteriors is decent. I had two skylights replaced by them. They do okay work for the cost and did have shingles pretty close to the color of my existing roof. They just aren't the most responsive and often you have to reach out to them more than once. They were also supposed to clean the windows after installing them. When I pointed that out to the installer as he was taking his ladder down, he went back up and used the sleeve of his shirt to try to wipe a streak away, which he was not successful at. read more

Horrible experience had an appt at 2:30pm 4/29 and no one came I called and they said they spoke with Tania and she would be there shortly. 3pm Tania calls to tell me she would have to reschedule because her appt before me went over (not my problem) and she needed to get to her next. So I get omitted? My time meant nothing that I left work to meet with them? Poor business practice extremely unprofessional. Then she had Zach call me and he decided to quote me over the phone and was $2800 more than my other quotes. Definitely shop around. From my experience they overcharge customers. 4/30 Obviously this business doesn't know how to earn business or how to act when then mess up a potential customers appt. I can't believe the text message they sent me this morning with the threat to remove my post or they are not coming today. Never asked them to come today once they treated my potential business with such disrespect and disregard for my time. I wouldn't use them if they put in the railings for free. Majestic is the real deal. I got 5+ quotes for a full exterior renovation (roof, windows, siding, stonework, add a door, replace doors) and met several contractors who were kind of all the same. I met Tania and she really cared about how the end product would look and had a design minded approach like on Fixer Upper. The pricing was not the cheapest but honestly I wasn't looking for the cheapest, just competitive/reasonable. Each crew did a great job and I feel I received a tremendous amount of value for what I paid. Tania made an appearance each day to make sure her crews were on point. Even after we were done, she is just as responsive to my email as if the job was still going on (just to resolve a couple minor issues, no fault of the work). Majestic Exteriors from Colt's Neck, NJ  did a beautiful job residing my house.  However, the window shutters were installed incorrectly and need to be adjusted.  One shutter remains uninstalled. Painting also needs to be done.  I have called and e-mailed the owner (Tania Goodman)   numerous times to no avail.   I am now seeking a contractor to complete the job and will send Majestic Exteriors  the bill  since I paid them in full (my mistake).  I am prepared to take further action if we are not reimbursed in full.   It is such a shame our job ended up like this.  I would not recommend Majestic Exteriors. read more

Their craftsmanship was good, promptness and timeframes are good and Tania seemed transparent and really knows her stuff --but I am really disappointed!! I've emailed, called and text over many weeks and gave them time to reply. For The project; I paid for a cedar soffit and I was given PINE instead. I raised this concern and I was blown off -now ghosted. The guys left a sample so I know it's pine --to prove it. I reached out many time to ask for proof of purchase of the wood used since Tania disagreed with me in text. I was ghosted. I know that the price differential between cedar and pine, as well as the look it gives and the way any stain would take to it. I just want to get what I paid for or refund me the difference!! Her painter contracted for the job also ghosted us too -- probably because he told us it was pine. This leaves the project incomplete and I didn't get what I paid for. So disappointed in Tania. They did our roof 5 years ago. 1st off it came out BEAUTIFULLY, all of the workers and staff are great to deal with! 2 years ago (3 years after our new roof was put on) we noticed a small water stain on the 1st floor ceiling, after extensive investigating on where the water came from to cause the stain they noticed the 2nd floor windows caulking was peeling in some places and they cleaned the window, recaulked it even though the window wasn't covered under the warranty. They truly take pride in their work and truly want the best for their clients! We will now have them replace some windows because they do great work, honor warranties quickly and have great respect for the client. read more

We were under contract/attorney review on our current home, and called Majestic to come give a second opinion on a rather large wet, moldy spot found in the attic during home inspection. We were not able to be present for Tanya's inspection on 7/16/14, but sent our inspection report, with photo, of the rather large wet spot found in the attic. We requested Tanya look at spot in attic and provide independent evaluation of attic plywood and physically walk roof to determine if anything else could be found. We were prepared to use Majestic if needed. When Tanya came to the home, she determined by looking in attic (we believe, as again, we were not present) that spot in attic was fine and roof would last another 3-5 years without repairs of any kind. She shared this with the seller and did not walk the roof to provide her own evaluation of its condition. I am having the roof replaced today, 10/27/14, and have at least three plywood boards needing replaced, the original board in question being completely molded and rotted through. I have pictures which I will post if given the option. This is a true shame, as Tanya/Majestic a) did not receive my business, and, perhaps more importantly to me, b) may have cost us severely during inspection/attorney review on sale of our home. I will not only never use Majestic Exteriors for my home repairs, but I am sharing my experiences with anyone who will listen. read more

Absolute worst in professionalism!! Do not hire ! Sloppy workmanship. No foreman on job. Supposed to have tarp to protect your landscaping and lawn from debris. Debris was everywhere in my landscaping causing damage and neighbors' properties. Took off my cupola then put it back on crooked. If you do not come out before workers leave, then good luck. Unfortunately, when there are disappointing experiences with contractors, this is the only alternative we have. In September of this year I contacted MAJESTIC EXTERIORS in Freehold, New Jersey in response to their ad on Angie's List. After several attempts and missed appointments in September, I finally got them to come out to my house on October 25th - yes a month later. While at my house for an advertised $699 job, they convinced me that my skylights needed to be replaced. This was something we had discussed as a possibility in advance and I was told that it would definitely be handled the same day. More than a month and $2800 later when they came back to replace the sklylights was what I am really not very happy about. Of course I asked if they were going to make a mess inside in my bedroom under the skylight and they said not at all and we will clean up anyway. Heck, I was concerned, I have a white carpet in that room. So, I offered to put down one of my own dropcloths (they forgot to bring one to the job). Needless to say 2 weeks later we are still pulling pieces of roof gravel out of our carpeting. When they were done with the job they asked to use my vacuum cleaner since they did not bring one. They asked me for my Windex and a roll of paper towels to clean the dirt off the skylights after I asked them to do so (of course they had no cleaning supplies with them either). They said that they did not have any room on their truck for the garbage, so they would send someone back for the old skylights and all the trash. Well, they left that day with my full bottle of Windex, my full roll of paper towels, leaving cigarette butts (at least ten), roofing nails that we are still finding all over our deck, and roof gravel on the deck that keeps getting tracked in all over the house. We even had to keep my daughter from bringing her dog to the house out of fear that he would choke on some roofing or nails or butts left on our deck. Although in at least 2 subsequent phone conversations with the installer we were promised someone to address our issues, nothing was done. I am having someone help me tonight to drag the old skylights and bags of roofing materials out of my driveway to get dumped (yes, more than 3 weeks later). I guess, since they are not coming back, I will have to get the kids to come and pick nails and sweep the deck and patio area so the dog can come back too. I guess that unless I handle the eye sore in my driveway my Christmas guests won't be very impressed with how our house looks this year. I have to say that I was disappointed in the service in other ways too. I was originally told that the $699 was to seal up the roof and gutters (which still leak) and later told - oh there is nothing we can do with leaky gutters. I was constantly having to follow-up with them, I got no advanced notice of them coming to my house, and I'm not sure about this, but we think some cash was missing from a bank on the floor in our bedroom where they were cleaning up with MY vacuum cleaner. My husband and I met with several contractors before deciding on using Majestic to replace the siding on our home. Compared to the other contractors, Majestic offered better prices for more work. Tania, one of the owners, offered to do more detail-oriented work such as including headers on my windows, pretty gable vents, and detailed trim work to really make my house pop and make it look more beautiful. Compared to the other contractors, Tania really knew her stuff and you could tell she was passionate about her work. She also stated the project would be done in half the time it would take the other contractors. She gave us addresses in our own neighborhood to drive by so we could decide on colors of the siding and shutters, which really helped in the decision making process. It also made me feel more confident in using them considering there were so many people in our neighborhood who used them as well; it really shows how good they must be. The whole process took only 3 1/2 days! The men were there very early in the morning every single day, and by the time they left whatever mess they made they had cleaned up and put into the container. Tania came every morning to make sure the work was being done was per our agreement, which made me happy as well. The last day they did a thorough cleaning of debris, Tania came for a final walk-through to make sure everything was done well and take pictures, and made sure we were happy with the end result. I feel like I have fallen in love with our home again. It is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Majestic, and I'm sure I'll be using them in the future for other projects as well. Our house was built 1988 and had 2 prior owners... 2nd owner had put a second layer of shingles when they were here so we needed to replace the whole roof this time around. We got our roof done last week after getting the 'standard' 3 quotes for any service work. I was amazed at how many contractors just don't even bother calling back on a potential customer asking for a quote. Others had openings for a quote 2 weeks later. That baffles me but, it shows you how different each contractor is. Majestic's quote was competitive and I felt at ease with the owner who made his presentation, explained the whole process of replacing our roof as well as the features of the materials they use. They are master elite GAF contractors - which based on research on the web is a must to have if you are contemplating a roofer. All work done was on time and on budget (no surprise charges mid-job or post job). The crew arrived around 730am and the materials arrive around 745am. Job was finished around 545pm and you would not have known the crew was there (the clean up was great) except we now have a new roof. A contractor that actually was on time, delivered the service as promised, returned phone calls pre and post job promptly. Did not know they existed but Majestic proved me wrong. I would highly recommend Majestic Exteriors to anyone that is interested in getting their roofs redone. read more

I had my roofing and gutters replaced by Majestic Exteriors and i couldn't have been more pleased with their professionalism and workmanship. I had the pleasure of dealing with the owner, Tanya. She definitely knows her business and her company stands behind their work. One of the attic fans that they had installed was making a grinding sound and when I called them to let them know, they came over right away and fixed the issue. About half a year later the same fan was making noise again and they just had a new one ordered. No questions or stalling on their side, they just simply took care of the problem. I was very disappointed with the quality of work and professionalism displayed by both the owners and their employees. They did a lot of damage in the process of replacing our roof . I wasn't even able to get an estimate. Stood us up 3 times. The last time I actually called to confirm 1 hour before the scheduled appointment, they confirmed, and never showed up. If they didn't want our business they could have just said it, instead of rescheduling each time and wasting my time. About 15 months ago we contracted Majestic to replace our roof, skylights, siding as well as stone work around our home. We dealt directly with the co-owner Tania and felt like Majestic would be the best company to work with. Overall the job went well and the crews were professional when on the job. Due to the scope of work the total job took about 2 months to complete. We made final payment to the Company, but noticed soon after that there was an issue with the roof leaking. When it would storm there would be a steady run of water coming down in our first floor. We called Tania and Majestic and she informed me that it would be fixed immediately and that they were sending out a repair crew. Tania also stated, which I have in writing that they would repair any damage to the interior of our home. This is where it starts to go really wrong. The first guy comes out and spends some time on the roof and said he fixed the shingles up against the fireplace that caused the leak. Next storm it is still leaking. I call Tania and she said she will send someone out. A different guy comes out and says it is the flashing that was put up damaged and it needs to be replaced. Says it is fixed and the next storm it still leaks. I call Tania and she said she ordered more shingles(even though they were not needed)and she sends out a third, different guy. They redo some stone work and then go on there way. Next storm, it still leaks. Like the other complaint on here My text messages, and emails go unanswered. I even send an email to Tania and Majestic stating that if they do not respond and make the repairs I will seek legal action.....Nothing. I have pictures and videos of the leaks and now it leaks on my first and second floor and spans about 20 feet across. The water is actually leaking through my interior light fixtures which is a serious hazard and I have children in the house. Now April 2nd 2017 I sit here with a leaky roof and a completely negligent Company. I am looking and expecting Tania and Majestic to take immediate action to repair my roof and all the interior damage it caused in our home. The complete disregard they have taken by not standing behind their work and contract is unacceptable and I am not going to wait any further. I will take every appropriate measure legally if this is not resolved. I am also taking every step to post this information on all social media outlets so this does not happen to anyone else.
