The property, apartments, and surrounding area all exceeded my expectations. Follow-up Communication Issues However, I encountered communication difficulties during my extended apartment search. Despite expressing ongoing interest and multiple visits (at least five) to gather information and inquire about suitable units, I received no follow-up contact from the leasing office (text, call, or email). Difficulties Reaching Staff Furthermore, reaching the leasing office by phone proved challenging. On several occasions, I had to return to the property to have my questions physically answered. Missed Opportunity While I remain interested in residing at Hawthorne at Crenshaw, the lack of consistent communication and the perception of being a burden during the application process has unfortunately dampened my initial enthusiasm. Suggestion for Improvement A more proactive approach to following up with potential residents, even those not ready for immediate lease signing, could significantly improve the overall rental experience. Applied online last evening and could not decide what unit to choose. I made an appointment today at 12:30 pm and when I arrived I was told by the manager they were about to start a meeting. I told here I had a 12:30 appointment and she said here leasing agent would be back in one hour. The manager and assistant manager both know who I am. I have been there at least 5 times. She said they had nothing new to show and when asked if a particular unit was available to see, her response was she was not sure. How could you not know if a specific unit was available. Also, I asked her about the layout of the floorplan and she said she was not sure it was different for each unit. What about the specific unit I asked about. She did not know? I just felt like they did not want to help me. The meeting was priority over my confirmed 12:30 appointment. No apology, no smiles, no "Live It" attitude. I was asked If needed help being let out. What a way to complete my application process and choose the right home for me. Suppose you are not aware of their "Live It" Mantra. In that case, it goes something like this: It's a daily commitment to exceed expectations, deliver unforgettable experiences, and inspire kindness for the communities and people in which we serve. I certainly do not think they live up to any of that today

The resident manager ((Alex and Chrystal)) They listen to your requests and take action on them and keep you informed. They are excellent, efficient, friendly, happy, knowledgeable and very courteous! Just all around exceptional! They know all of their residents by name here and I feel right at home. Maintenance is speedy and excellent as always! I love living here and the location is Great by the way! The overall property atmosphere is always clean, quiet, and very friendly. . . Prior to the use of this app the only way your car would be towed was if you reversed parked but now with that app multiple residents have had their vehicle towed even though it was registered in the app and when they try to verify in the app it then doesn't let them check saying that no account is found. This is a huge issue seeing as in order to get your vehicle back from the towing place it will cost you 275 even if it was there less than an hour. So please if you move here make sure you are taking a screenshot (show the time is was registered) every single time a vehicle is being registered in the app because the apartments won't rectify this huge problem. Making either you the future resident or your guest short of 275 for the week.

Like I said been living here 5 years and about a year ago my vehicle was towed even though I had it registered on the app and obviously I have it registered in the office ,when you fill out the Contract for the apartment when leasing. My sister also moved in to these apartments and 3 days into moving in her husband vehicle was also towed when she clearly registered both of her vehicles prior to moving in. Of course no one can do anything about nor the apartment complex office the only thing we can do is pay the tow fee which is $270 which is insane to have to pay a lot of money to live here and in top of that worry that you will wake up one day and have your car towed there's been multiple residents that I've spoken too that's had the same issue. Them Ranger towing company be towing peoples cars are a bunch of scammers illegally towing residents and visitors cars. Spoke to office staff and brought up this concern lady said she will try to bring this up to the upper management and see if there's something they can do about this situation. Make sure that You check the app everyday and Not wake up with the surprise your car is no longer registered in the system Or worse that it was towed Also make sure to screenshot when you have visitors visiting over.

Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part so it's fairly quiet. If you have an issue they address it quickly and there are pest/ bug control regularly. The maintenance man is awesome and always helping if needed even off the clock. People stay here for a long time here and I am going on three years soon and don't have complaints so I get why no one leaves.
