The course is fun and challenging enough to keep you coming back. I love the staff. I am always greeted by name and with a smile. At the end of your round you can sit on the raised back deck that overlooks the course and parts of Healdsburg and enjoy a drink and some snacks. The practice range has been brought modern with computerized golf tracking machines that you can use to work on each club use or you can play distant courses virtually while actually striking the ball. There are even hosted events for the practice range. The prices are good and the events and instruction classes fill up fast. Don't miss out on this gem. You just feel good after you play this course.

I rarely played golf here, because the course was always in poor shape and it's only 9 holes. Well, that changed about a week ago. A buddy and I were looking to get out for a quick round and he suggest Healdsburg. Sure, why not I thought. I was very surprised at the current shape/condition of the course. Very nice. I even went back for another 9 a few days later to get in some work. The course has some challenging holes. I think there are only two holes where you aren't dealing with elevation. Staff was very helpful, nice. Also something you don't see much anymore. Before they send you down to the first tee, there is a box with scorecards and pencils...but also plastic ball markers, a divot tool and tees. The round with cart was pretty reasonable and pretty quick if you go early enough. Good job HGC!

I must say this is a gorgeous track with top notch facilities. The course if tough but fair. The greens are absolute perfection. Fairways are manicured. I think having mandatory caddies really help with the upkeep. Our group's caddies were Keith and Eric. Each caddy manages 2 bags. I suppose you can get a caddy for yourself, but I haven't played in months. This was just a chance to hangout with friends that I haven't seen so my game was below average. We played from the middle tees which is 6,156 yards with a 71.0/138 rating/slope. Pretty respectable for member's tees! After the round we enjoyed a nice Riesling wine accompanied with cheese and various small bites. I recommend sitting outdoor so you can take in the spectacular view. Their locker room is top notch complete with showers, steam room, toiletries and friendly staff to clean your shoes. I hosted numerous business meetings and events there as well as friend & family meals. The Staff go out of their way to make everyone feel special and every need attended to. The members are very friendly and welcoming. The grounds and buildings are kept in impeccable condition. The quality of the fairways is amazing and the bunkers are fluffy. My family enjoy our times at the club. For me the best part is that I can go and play 18 holes of golf is under 3 hours, outside of the typical busy hours like Saturday morning. I never have to worry about being hit by a golf ball and people are very friendly. Every hole is different and is a good challenging course to play. The greens are fast often 11+. The club is investing a lot into improving, since I've been there I've seen a new pool deck, pickle ball courts, tennis and pickle ball court floodlights, new gym with Foresight Eagle Sim Room, Spin Studio, Large studio room, and many other things. The course was in excellent shape; the fairways and greens were perfectly manicured. Definitely one of the better public courses we've played. To top it off, we had dinner on our last night at Charlie's Restaurant, also right next to the resort. Not sure why it wasn't crowded because the food and service were top-notch. From start to finish, everything was spot on. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a menu that delivered big time. Highly recommend this place if you're staying at the resort or just in the area. Hats off to the team at Charlie's you knocked it out of the park. Or in golf terms... you birdied the whole dinner experience.

My family and I have had many Mother's Day and other meals here and it was always a good meal…read more This Mother's Day was horrible. From the wait staff at least our waitress and the food was cold, and took a long time to be served. Our waitress kept taking orders from other tables, but never getting our order to us. Some time we waited an hour just to get our coffee. One time when I asked where our meal was as she was taking another order from a table that just got there, she said, Oh you didn't get it? Well, duh, she was the one that was suppose to serve it to us. The bagels were hard as was the English muffins. Coffee was cold, etc. Just bad all the way around. Now, I have been in the restaurant business for most of my adult working career and realize Mother's Day is the biggest day in the restaurant business, but this was ridiculous. We were willing to put up with poor food, bu t then I was insulted by one of the young men waiters. No one was wearing a name tag, so I can't put his name down, but Customers at other tables that heard him insult me gasped. If my son did not go over to him to ask for an apology, another customer at one of the tables was getting up to go to him. The kid would not come over, but the Hostess did and said the kitchen was backed up and all these kids waiting on tables had no experience with being a wait person. Why were they hired for Mothers Day? Well and good, but you do not insult any customer, especially an 85 year old elderly person that just asked you where our waitress was and why was it taking so long. He, not the lousy meal spoiled my Mother's Day. My first time out to eat since Covid began and a horrible experience. The Hostess, didn't know what she was doing, believe me, I have been a Hostess, and waitress in some of the finest restaurants in San Francisco back in the day, and a customer would never have been treated so poorly. I can excuse the poor food, but not for the price my son paid and then to be treated so poorly. This is not the Charlie's we knew. Everything gets blamed on Covid. This was bad manners and unprofessional, nothing to do with Covid.

Hosts were super friendly, just like the last time, so no complaints there at all. Overall, this escape room was much, much better than the Charlie's Candy Shop escape room. It felt much more intuitive, and the clues were written clearly, which made the experience more enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was in the second room, during the part where you use the dowsing rods to find the letters on the wall which are needed to open the safe. We weren't able to get any readings from the dowsing rods, we weren't sure if the magnets were not strong enough or if something else was affecting it. We ended up calling the host for help, and she was very nice and helpful. She gave us a hint about using a specific word on the metal board, and we immediately understood which five-letter word she meant. That hint worked perfectly for us. Other than that one part, we had a great experience and enjoyed the escape room!

They have a good array of arcade games - we are partial to Jurassic Park though it always has a line, skee ball, basketball, the frogger clone game, the harpoon game - as well as things like trampolines (extra cost), the playground (a ball spill thingy, slides, 3 levels, a zip line, etc - also extra cost. We enjoy bowling during football games so we can watch and bowl and get boneless wings from victory house (and sometimes Bloody Marys). I've also come to watch friends play soccer at their different indoor courts. Only downside - it feels a bit like a germ fest. Lots of hand sanitizer and now I feel like I need to take some elderberry.
