    Main pool

The pools themselves are great, the slide is fun, the play area for kids is great- The locker rooms need more maintenance, the women's room has broken toilets, a lot of times they're clogged and it smells so bad. They have a good amount of staff working but the bathrooms always seem to be gross. Definitely wear shoes in the locker rooms. People get to the pool super early, and take all the coverage and tables and refuse to give space for others entering the pool, which is a let down. You have to get to the pool minimum an hour in advance of open swim to be able to get a good spot where you aren't being burned up by the sun, or burning your feet on the pavement. They should just provide more shaded areas, and they should encourage guests to share shaded areas rather than taking up a whole table for three people (they can fit eight)-just to put their stuff on the table and not really use it at all, people get really possessive over the tables (it's weird and inconsiderate). You can bring blankets, food, wagons, etc..-we've brought our pop up tent before just to have shade. Come prepared and show up early for a better experience.

Can't beat. $7 fee. The pool is clean. There is a toddler area, ,3.5-5fr pool, slides, playground, picnic area for parties! I've lived in vaca for 12 yrs, this place is wonderful. The pool is clean and area is well kept. There's also the lap pool and diving. The people also who go here aren't rowdy. There are a lot of lifeguards and really doing their job. It was my first time to come here to bring my visiting nieces my family and they enjoyed it! The are is not too big so there aren't enough seating. You have to bring your own chairs or blankets just in case.

They Graham is my home away from home. I love the outdoor pools, they are so refreshing and clean! They have some awesome Themed family nights where you can bring floaties and win prizes. Those are usually on Saturday nights. There are many different programs offered at the pool. They vary from swim lessons (for all ages), lap swim for fitness( all different times), aerobics, public swim and special events. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

One of Vacaville's public pools. Probably my favorite one in Solano. We used to frequent the base pool a lot, but since budget cuts has caused them to start charging, I'd rather bring that family here if we have to pay. Why? The Walter Graham Aquatic Center has two pools. They use a saline solution so you don't reek of chlorine when you're done. They have a great area for kiddies under like 3ft. 2 water slides, 2 diving boards, and their heater works so the water is always about 87°. My only gripes about this place are the lack of seating and shade, but it isn't enough for me to dock a star. Still love this place!

The Walter Grahmn Aquatic center is tons of fun. Open swim everyday from 1/5

Local spot for swimming. Double slides, deep end with diving boards, shallow end, kids only area for babies and those under 6 along with plenty of snack tables along with a small playground. Open swim everyday 1-5p and reasonably priced. Come early for the best spot. Swim lessons in the summer. Several lifeguards on duty. Beware no floatation devices allowed.

Her first high dive!! Great job!!!!

Monday 7/25/16 - see staff note below Nice! Good slides. Very cool having a high dive!!!! Need more chairs and tables. Staff - tall, slender, dark complexion young man (18-22ish) overly aggressive and authoritarian with the rules. Bordering on oppressive and rude. Relax!!!! And act like the other staff who were able to enforce the rules, keep the safe environment, and be professional at the same time. He literally yelled at children every time someone was on the diving board or in that pool area for 20 minutes. His replacement was nothing like that. You don't have to be that way to be effective.

Ask the Community - Walter Graham Aquatic Center

Is this a salt water pool?

    No, it is chlorine.

Do they have open swim during the week? If so when does it start? I called and the recording said it's only open weekends but some reviews said otherwise...

Open swim starts June 10th everyday and is 1-4:45p it's 7$ for entry. This goes until halfway through August

I had specific goals that Ron understood and drafted a workout and nutrition plan to help me meet those goals. As my fitness improved Ron updated the plan to keep it challenging and relevant. The nutrition aspect of my plan was great as well. He created a long list of foods that matched up with my goals and matched them to the grocery stores I already was using. He also pushed me physically which is what I needed on quite a few early mornings. My experience with Ron was life changing. My job puts a lot of stress on different parts of my body, and Ron has helped my body be much more resilient to injuries. Plus I feel great and more confident with my increased energy and strength. My training sessions ended a while ago but I've kept up on my regular workout routine, which is something I've never been able to do over the past twenty years despite many attempts. I've already referred Ron to several friends and colleagues. As for the gym and its staff: Reagan is awesome. I don't know any other staff because I'm only there early mornings. The gym equipment works fine, but it does seem sketchy sometimes. I've seen loose bolts, broken pieces of trim that stick out and scratch legs or catch clothing, and I've tripped more than once on uneven floor or equipments that is packed too closely together. Another guy and I were talking recently that were shocked the gym owner isn't all over maintenance and replacement of the floor and equipment. Seems like a lawsuit or two could financially ruin the place pretty quickly. I hope that doesn't happen because I really like the atmosphere of the gym. People are friendly. The trainer is fantastic. The equipment and facilities just need to be updated and better maintained. It doesn't need to be fancy. I don't want to pay for a fancy gym or workout in a fancy place. Just a few clicks nicer.

The lower rating is simply in hopes that the owner will address some ongoing issues within the gym. There are approximately 15 treadmills, and all of them have recurring problems, whether it's a loose belt, clunking noise, self-adjusting settings, or being completely out of service. While repairs are made regularly, the issues often return within a short period of time. Given how heavily these machines are used by people of all ages, from walkers to runners, reliable equipment is important. I've also noticed a significant decline in cleanliness over the past 6-8 months. Dust and dirt have become much more noticeable throughout the facility. I'm genuinely sad to leave because the gym community has been fantastic. Unfortunately, it no longer serves the purpose it once did when I first joined and the equipment was consistently well maintained. I hope these concerns are addressed, as this gym has many great qualities and a lot of potential.

TLDR: stay clear of this place, unless you like paying thousands for glorified day care…read more UPDATE - response to owner's (Cheronda A.) reply to this review: Hi Cheronda, I already did exactly what you suggest, before leaving this review I reached out to you directly to raise my concerns, which you refused to address after which you ended our conversation by writing quote; "There will be no further correspondence on this matter.", which now results in your incongruity between your private and public communication being on public display. Original review: British Swim School's Vallejo location, run by Cheronda A. and team, advertise their program as being able to "instilling water survival skills that save lives". After 17 months (64 lessons) and $2500 down the drain, we pulled our son from this program due to it being more akin to an aquatic day care (with you as the parent remaining present) than a swim program. The people at the school are nice enough interpersonally, but these are the red flags to notice: - After an initial few weeks you stop getting feedback, which when given is always verbally and never through skill progress item in the British Swim School's app. If you challenge the owner (Cheronda A.) on this, you will be gaslighted in there being more feedback than there actually is, and that it is their policy to only give verbal feedback versus using the app for what it is intended. - You'll notice your child will have many different instructors throughout lessons, with great variety as seniority as instructors. - You're paying about $40 for a 30min session, but on avg. there are 4 kids per classes, meaning even if you round up that's $40 for 10 minutes of instruction, as in the 64 "lessons" we paid for equates to having paid $2500 for less than 11 hours of instruction. - The lessons are utterly simple snd repetitive, and not lessons at all, the same 4 simple things are just endlessly repeated without any coaching or guidance from the instructors towards the child as to what to do different or how to improve. - The final straw, when you confront them on the inadequacies listed above, they will a) gaslight you in terms of feedback cycles, but much much worse, b) blame the lack of results on your child. In summary, this school will happily take your money for providing very little, and in terms of practical outcomes are operating in opposition of their mission statement.

There was 4 small No-Bake cookie bites. The moose crunch was literally Cheerios and a little bit of marshmallows and m&m candies in a snack size bag. This lady didn't bother emailing or calling or texting that there was a time change! I paid $352 for my two kids to NOT ATTEND EVEN ONE CLASS, and you better believe she doesn't bother reimbursing!
