Have lifeguards that care about their jobs...guarding lives. Kids were jumping into the big pool onto each other and near the cement corner several times, over and over. Brought it to a lifeguard's attention, they literally said "that is his area". We left after this comment. There appeared to be actual feces in the kiddie pool area. Not a just a little. The lifeguards at the diving boards did not ensure that yellow bands were on little kids' wrists. My nephew went over there and was obviously not 12. Nothing done. I took him away and put him where he belonged. I had three kids with me all different ages and heights. Lifeguards need to be lifeguards and not be checking out other teenagers and playing games amongst themselves. It was very obvious. Sad really. Won't be back. read more

I love this aquatic center! They are staffed well with young, excited youth that seem to like being a part of the community. Seems like everyone is following the rules and having so much fun! They will allow you to bring your own food, tables, and chairs in! They have a snack bar that seems to have something for everyone with great prices! The price to get in is so affordable at eight dollars per child. It's the cheapest fun you can have! If you're a parent/caregiver and you want to swim, it will cost you the same but if you just want to go in it, it's five dollars to enter. We typically stay the full rec time that is 3 1/2 hours. We absolutely love it. The splash pad for the younger kids is really awesome with a waterslide that's perfect for youngsters! That waterslide is so much fun and these little ones have a blast! This is specifically for hosting a birthday party here at the aquatic center. Held a birthday party here for a group of 7/8 year olds and it was a big hit! They have a picnic area that easily seats 40 people. It's fully covered and has electrical outlets and a bbq area. Our party was on a very warm day (95 degrees) so it was a busy day, but I appreciate there were plenty of life guards on duty that seemed really attentive. The team that got us checked in made it really easy and checked in on us a couple of times. The party times go from 1:30-4:30pm and that was a great amount of time for the kids to get in plenty of water time. For smaller children they have the splash pad area which was great for the kids who had younger siblings come. We booked the party sight unseen, but it was such a great gamble. I would definitely book again, and the price for up to 40 people is really great. I also loved that everything seemed very clean and well maintained. I think we'll be spending a lot more time here this summer. read more

Love that there's a low cost place to take the kid during the summer. The facility is nice, and has various things to do (but Allen Witt in a Fairfield has them beat on variety for little kids). My biggest gripe is that they don't have longer hours. read more

The pools themselves are great, the slide is fun, the play area for kids is great- The locker rooms need more maintenance, the women's room has broken toilets, a lot of times they're clogged and it smells so bad. They have a good amount of staff working but the bathrooms always seem to be gross. Definitely wear shoes in the locker rooms. People get to the pool super early, and take all the coverage and tables and refuse to give space for others entering the pool, which is a let down. You have to get to the pool minimum an hour in advance of open swim to be able to get a good spot where you aren't being burned up by the sun, or burning your feet on the pavement. They should just provide more shaded areas, and they should encourage guests to share shaded areas rather than taking up a whole table for three people (they can fit eight)-just to put their stuff on the table and not really use it at all, people get really possessive over the tables (it's weird and inconsiderate). You can bring blankets, food, wagons, etc..-we've brought our pop up tent before just to have shade. Come prepared and show up early for a better experience. read more

Can't beat. $7 fee. The pool is clean. There is a toddler area, ,3.5-5fr pool, slides, playground, picnic area for parties! I've lived in vaca for 12 yrs, this place is wonderful. The pool is clean and area is well kept. There's also the lap pool and diving. The people also who go here aren't rowdy. There are a lot of lifeguards and really doing their job. It was my first time to come here to bring my visiting nieces my family and they enjoyed it! The are is not too big so there aren't enough seating. I really enjoy bringing the kids this summer (I've gone almost 10 times) but some of the staff and lifeguards are over the top. Your clientele is mostly kids/families so treat them with respect and demonstrate how they should treat others. The yelling and rudeness really needs to be toned down. Some staff are great. They Graham is my home away from home. I love the outdoor pools, they are so refreshing and clean! They have some awesome Themed family nights where you can bring floaties and win prizes. Those are usually on Saturday nights. There are many different programs offered at the pool. One of Vacaville's public pools. Probably my favorite one in Solano. We used to frequent the base pool a lot, but since budget cuts has caused them to start charging, I'd rather bring that family here if we have to pay. Why? The Walter Graham Aquatic Center has two pools. They use a saline solution so you don't reek of chlorine when you're done. They have a great area for kiddies under like 3ft. 2 water slides, 2 diving boards, and their heater works so the water is always about 87°. My only gripes about this place are the lack of seating and shade, but it isn't enough for me to dock a star. Still love this place! read more

Staff - tall, slender, dark complexion young man (18-22ish) overly aggressive and authoritarian with the rules. Bordering on oppressive and rude. Relax!!!! And act like the other staff who were able to enforce the rules, keep the safe environment, and be professional at the same time. He literally yelled at children every time someone was on the diving board or in that pool area for 20 minutes. His replacement was nothing like that. My granddaughter and I had such a great time here. Everything was clean and well maintained. The lifeguards were excellent, you can tell they have been trained well. It was nice to have options; an fenced off area for the very little ones, a mid size pool for beginners ( along with life jackets available to borrow) and the full size, deep pool with a low & high dive. What a pleasure to find a smaller affordable water park. We didn't have to worry about losing each other or walking for "miles" to each attraction. This aquatic park is just right for a pleasant afternoon activity. Warning- Be sure to bring your own chairs because there are very few picnic tables available. It's a fairly nice community pool. It's relatively clean, offers two large pool with a slide. Bathrooms should be cleaned more often.

For up to 30 people, you can have a birthday here for around $250-300. We thrown 2 birthdays here for both my son and daughter. There's panic area and small BBQ pit. There's also a play ground right next to the picnic tables in case you have some kids that don't like water or just want to change it up. They have 4 water areas. A play structure with a slide. A pool that goes to up to 4ft, a deep area with a diving board and a big slide area. The large water slides were broken that day, which was a bummer. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. For price, it's a really great value in my opinion. I think it was 10 for each additional person. They don't allow all kinds of life vest, make sure you get on that's coast Guard approve if you want to use one, and you can't bring your own floatation raft. read more

We just moved to Vacaville and yesterday was our first time at the pool. It exceeded our expectations! There is plenty of covered areas to keep out of the sun, there's a lot of grass to put a towel down. For kids, they have a great splash area with lots of water features and there's a regular playground area. They have two big waterslides which were very fun and a diving pool and a regular pool. The water was nice and warm. Very clean facilities and the staff was great. I hope everyone realizes how lucky they are to have such a nice summer time place. Oh, and a great spot after a long swim is the old school Foster's freeze down the street! read more

There's a little snack shack, very well priced, so the kids can enjoy a little bite, while playing in this fun filled, well structured environment. From the High Dive, to the kiddie pool, there's plenty to keep you entertained. You're welcomed to bring your own cooler of food and drinks, and enjoy your day with the family. Nice pool and facilities in general, but huge price. There is an entrance fee! Grandma came to just watch grandson and she cost $5. I had to leave and come back with more money! (Cash only) No mercy. We dipped our toes into the slide pool and we're immediately ordered/commanded to get out. Twice within 10 seconds of each other. Great place if only the people were nicer. Other life guards generally nice and smiling, approachable, watchful. I will most likely avoid this place in the future. read more

After attending for 3 months I've discovered that the young coaches (instructors) are unnecessarily rude. When one is granted a level of authority, it shouldn't be used to aggressively threaten people when a simple request would suffice. Also, in three months of attending 2-3 sessions per week, on only one occasion have I actually witnessed an instructor getting into the water. I understand the importance of maintaining safety rules, but to use that as an opportunity to verbally push people around is inappropriate. read more

Very very busy and I felt like the lifeguards weren't as attentive as they should be they were very busy talking amongst each other. I much prefer the Davis public pools as there aren't as many guests, and much more shade. This pool should plant more shade trees or structures by the diving board pools, as there is a whole wasted lawn area no one wants to sit on because there is no shade. read more

I won't ever go there again.Went there with my family over the 4th July weekend and was terribly disappointed. Save your skin from cancer, time and money. There is no type of shaded areas to protect yourself from the scorching heat.It`s too open,you have to jump into the pool immediately to escape the heat. I saw a elderly lady in a wheelchair trying to escape the sun by sitting up against the wall. Way overpriced just to enjoy a few hours a day at the pool. The only shaded areas were two gazebos that's reserved for pool parties only. I was surprised nobody caught a heat stroke. read more
