Bar none, they are the best printing company we have found and we've been established in Delaware since 1956. Friendly helpful staff, an enormous menu service options. Marketing, business essentials such as invoices, business cards, a full service mail room, shipping, you name it likely Windswept can help you out. Very reasonable prices compared to the (not) competition and friendly prompt service.They have the order ready when they say they will too. That is so refreshing. I know when we go to Windswept to reorder business cards or invoices that they'll be top quality, on time, and at a great price. LOVE Windswept. If you read really negative reviews consider that could be the (not) competition. See it to believe the positive reviews. Stop in. I needed about 50 programs printed. Multiple family members mentioned Windswept. Visiting Dover regularly, I never came across this business. In any case, I emailed the original after they requested a PDF file. Upon arrival, about 30 minutes later, they quickly accessed the document, flipped it a number of times to come up with the right dimensions per my request. Their printer also folds! I went ahead and paid the $2.50 extra for the folding. The total charge was reasonable although it took a bit of finagling to get the fold to be just right. I left a happy camper and witnessed customers coming and going the entire time I was there. Oh, they also ship (including UPS and FedEx) and I saw a 10% off sign on the street. A very handy conveniently located business in Dover, Delaware. Great for your print jobs, faxes, Internet, and more importantly, dropping off and sending packages via FedEx, USPS, and UPS. Tremendous staff people are very patient and quick to take care of your printing and shipping needs. The only slight qualm I have is I wish the employees of Windswept would wear a vest or something which states and shows they work there at Windswept. There are times you walk in and you see customers and employees of Windswept walking around in civilian clothes and you do not know who actually works at Windswept until they ask if they can help you. Anyway, once you distinguish the person who actually works there you will receive great customer service and reasonable prices. Its a great local business and I am proud to support it!!! read more

If looking to be treated rudely, have your emails for services go ignored and be over charged for poor quality printing this is the place for you. Most of the issues I have experienced is a direct result to it's toxic management. In front of customer management has zero issue with verbally abusing their staff, purposefully misquote or interrupt staff as they are following the price listed and lack basic communication skills to understand the the needs of a customer. One can visually see the stress the staff is under having to walk on egg shells just to survive this ugly environment. If the management is confronted or anyone pushes back, the narcissism kicks in causing an emotional recommitment to pleas for basic customer care to fall on deaf ears. This is a shipping business using USPS, Fed Ex, UPS etc. I used their services on Friday, September 14th to ship 2 boxes back to California. The clerk (Todd) was totally incompetent and clearly didn't know what he was doing. I should have taken my packages directly to the USPS instead of wasting my time there. As of this writing, I still have not received my packages as they were not sent from their location until Monday, September 17th. If I ever have to ship something from Delaware again on another visit, I will not use this business and I encourage others not to use them. They're way overpriced and I could have shipped my items for half of what I was charged. read more

Windswept is a local printing business, and unless you want to have stuff printed at Staples and their print clerk du jour, this is where you're going to have to go. You will be helped within less than a minute after walking through the door. You will be asked if you need help at least once per minute, even if you're standing around waiting for the guy to find the print order you emailed them hours before, or are waiting for said order to be printed (because it will only take, "just a moment". I'm actually amazed at the number of employees on duty here at any given time. My wife and I theorize that the only way they can be making money, is because they are making money.. as in printing it. That or there's way more money in printing than I thought. It is funny that the owner of the business can't really work a computer... but there's competent employees there to help him. Overall, Windswept is okay. The employees are friendly and for Dover standards, it meets Dover standards. read more

The people here are always courteous and promptly greet you when you walk through the door (which is very important to me and running a business). I have been in business for numerous years and have used this place numerous times for copying brochures, faxes, passport photos, bought printing stamps and other various services they offer. The service has been consistent and they are very prompt and the people have always treated me decent even while getting a passport photo. I've never experienced anyone talking down to me because I was a woman but they can come across a little short and it's probably because they are a very busy establishment and they care about meeting the needs of the client. I have also found that the prices are very reasonable as well. I would use this company over staples any day. read more

Until today my problems with Windswept was handled last week. I wrote a review on Google for the poor service that day. But said i would return since I'm a publisher and they have services i need from time to time. Well after speaking to the rudest person in the phone today, who refused to listen while having a onesided conversation, I've decided i don't care how long the lines are at the Post Office or Stsples, I'm never returning. Good customer services behinds with listening and attempting to work with a customer. The person taking the call never took time to figure out what my concren was. Instead he continued fighting to be right when he didn't handle my original complaint last week. Which had been dealt with last week and squaredc away. Walked in to get a passport photo, they helped right away. However the man who attempted to help me came off as extremely rude and misogynistic. He told me I could not smile. I didn't want to smile I just wanted natural looking expression that wasn't expressionless. If he was up to date with the requirements for passport photos he would've known that. He kept making comments along the lines of "wow all you women are the same and you guys think all photos look bad etc" excuse me, I came to get a passport photo not to be judged and criticized. Not to mention he was using a crappy camera. I told him thank you but no thank you because of how uncomfortable he made me feel. I ended up taking the photo myself and it worked perfectly. read more

I'm not the one to complain but I have to post my experience doing business with windswept. I tried to drop off a package using a Fedex Smartpost shipping label. The package was refused by teller stating it was a USPS label and the package needed to be drop off at the post office. The label clearly has SMARTPOST on it. I ask to speak to a manager and she said the same thing. So I left to pick up my kids knowing that the teller and manager were Idiots or they like to mess with people. So I tried to see if my kid would have better success with the attempt drop off of the package. He was also denied stating the same B.S. (10 year old) and was told he had to take to Seaford or New Castle Fedex Depot. I called fedex C.S and open a case and will never do business at this site again. We've used Windswept for copies, shipping, business cards, and invoices since they opened The review that preferred a different office service company makes me think that person works at Staples. Everything is up front with Windswept. They have a pricing list for shipping, and all printing. There are no surprises when you come to pick up your order. If you're new, your order is either prepaid in full or a down payment is made. It is all reviewed with the customer before it comes to that. The person that claimed, so called disabled senior citizens should stay away, was likely confused. Senior citizens are respected at Windswept. The staff is entirely friendly. No Mysoginists present. But in a snowflake society where some think it is a Constitutional right to not be offended, are we surprised someone is when they're told not to smile for a passport photo? The Passport office rule for photos prohibits showing teeth. I.E. No smiling! Because facial recognition software in foreign countries surveillance cameras has issues with the facial plains of the face if one smiles. Get past all the negative posts here because they're either not true, someone works for the competition and is trying to slam Windswept so their company will get the business, or they're just a snowflake with no knowledge of passport rules when applying for a passport. Or, sadly, they're a confused senior citizen. And the shipping review about late arrival of a package back in 2012 is NOT the fault of Windswept. It is the shippers fault. A tracking number on that package would help the customer sort it out. But they chose instead to try to harm the business they chose to use instead. When the Post Office is less than 2 miles from Windswept. They could have saved themselves the aggravation if they just wanted to drive a little further. Windswept has been in business for at least 2 decades. There's a reason for that. And it isn't that they're a bad company. They're awesome! No matter what detractors hope you'll believe. Everyone there is friendly. No rude employees! The family runs and works at the place and would never stand for that. read more
