I had a new grip put on one of my clubs here. The new one was loose. A kid named Ben told me he was the manager and tried to insinuate was because I left it in my car, I told him I didn't and it was in my garage. He asked if it was climate controlled so I told him it never gets above 82-84 degrees. Then his next feeble attempt was to say it was because the tape they use inside the grip just isn't long enough, and it wasn't really a problem. I asked if the manager was there, and he told me he was the manager on duty. Bottom line is all he did was try to make me believe it was either my fault or a new loose grip on on my putter that I just paid them for was not a problem. A terrible experience with a kid that just tried to shy from responsibility. read more

I recently visited this location to play nine holes of golf on the lake course. I checked on tee times but didn't reserve because it showed all was open for the afternoon. My daughter decided she wanted to play so I was glad I hadn't reserved a time. When we got to the course, it was a little after 5, I was told there were no tee times available on the lake course until 6:30 but we could play the par three. I didn't make a scene knowing the girl doing the reservations was not the issue but we played the par three instead. What a mistake! The greens are horrible and, in many cases, almost non existent. The cart paths are just that, paths! Not paved and not maintained. To top it off, there were no more than five groups on the lake course the whole time we played. I feel like I gave away my money and time! The only positive was I got to spend time with my daughter. Don't waste your money. You are better served to go hit balls at the driving range. read more

well, huh, interesting to say the least. We first went to the pro shop, looked pretty nice in there actually, then headed over to the go-karts. Safety check? no. Lots of bumping? Yes. Did one of our group mates possibly get slightly concussed? maybe. But wow is it a fast, competitive, and long race there. Then, the lighted par 3 course. To be honest, it wasn't too expensive, but the course needs some work. some of the lights were out, (5 green and 6 tee) as well as the greens, don't even get me started on the greens. But it's a fun little course to go around with your buddies and kick butt. would I come back, sure, but please add more safety checks. the range also look pretty fun as well. read more

After a five-year hiatus from golf, due to a lower back injury, I have returned to the game that I dearly love. Many aspects of my game returned with a fair amount of practice except my driver. Ready to throw it in the garbage and desperate, I booked a lesson with Nicole Inkel. In just 45 minutes I began to see the promise of straight consistent tee shots with my driver. I was stunned at how quickly she identified my swing flaws and taught me the remedies. There is much more time and effort to be invested before I am confident enough to put it into play, but if the first lesson is any indication I'm sure that after a few more lessons and a few more months of practice I'll be in the fairway with the driver again. ~Bill read more

The big course and par 3 prices are awful for the quality of what you get. 75% of the greens and tee boxes are just a mix of dirt, sand, and chemical burned grass. Not a fun experience. Course needs some serious work. Will not be back. read more

Came today for mini golf but there is much more to offer. Batting cages, golf, some type of golf with a soccer ball, go carts, and more. We have been here before and like the mini golf and go-carts. Mini golf is kind of basic. There are 2, 18 hole courses. If you are looking at both do the one on the right. The left one is much easier and more basic. The one on the right had a few more hills and turns to the holes. Good for beginners and kids. Last time I went on the go-carts. Had a lot of few. There was a little bumping and no one said anything. Just a little harmless fun. The 2 seater cart was fun for parent and kid. I really want to try the soccer golf. It looks like it would be a fun game to play. read more

I went this morning (September 14th) and I was very disappointed in the customer service. I paid for a bucket of range balls and I didn't know where to go or how to get the balls just given a token. Then a older gentleman got sarcastic with me because I wasn't sure how to operate the machine. I won't be going back and won't recommend it to anyone read more

My husband and I visited Windy Hill Sports to check out the footgolf. It is on the par 3 course which is 9 holes and has separate larger cups. You have to bring your own soccer ball. We weren't huge on the course since it was muddy and easy for your ball to roll into the wooded areas but it was still fun to try. Before we left we decided to try mini golf and it was very basic. There are two course options, both are 18 holes (we did the one to the left when entering). There is a lot to do while visiting, you can play mini golf, golf, footgolf and disc golf, ride go karts or hit baseballs in the batting cages. It was a fun time but I would only recommend it if you are needing to kill time. read more

For his annual birthday outing, Nephew wanted to go back to Windy Hill, so off we went. He loves the go-karts and this time, he wanted to try the mini-golf. Best of all, I had a great Groupon deal for us to enjoy our day. Loads of other people were at Windy Hill enjoying a great sunny summer day as well. With a driving range, Par 3 course, min-golf, go-karts and batting cages, there is plenty of fun for everyone to enjoy. There is also a pro shop on site. My only tip... don't bother ordering french fries from the snack bar. They remind one of something you get in an elementary school cafeteria as there is no fryer here. Plus, it takes them 20-30 minutes to bake them in their toaster oven. So stick with hot dogs and chips if the kids get hungry. read more

Since the business is under new ownership it's apparent that there are many efforts to resuscitate what I would consider DOA. Of course these improvements come at a huge cost and the rates are reflected in the fees for everything. The facility is close to where I live so it's convenient to get to. Only hope the new owner doesn't adopt the attitude of the previous owners. They were as bad as it gets and surprised the business survived their terrible attitudes. read more

Sad. I was here before when it was so beautiful and well maintained. It's sad to see it now. The green had partially come off for one of the holes, the card stands are either missing or badly rusted, there are leaves everywhere, the mats for the ball a lot of them move or are out of place, etc. I was quoted one price and charged another. We went to order lunch even told the lady before we went out that we were excited to eat there. When we walked in after playing and she walked out. It's a shame. read more

They have made a lot of changes to improve conditions. BUT it is consistently the worst course in the area for pace of play. Every time I give it a chance I kick myself. Im writing this from the fifth hole. I teed off at 4:40 IT IS 6:00. The group of unsupervised middle schoolers in front of me are SITTING on the fairway. What is going on here???? read more

Love this quick 9 hole par three. It's great for beginners and best of all its lighted!!! My husband and I just played here for the first time and we really liked it. For those of you who want some exercise it is definitely a nice walking course and for those that want to ride you can rent a cart. Just know you can't get a cart past 6:30pm. But it's a good course overall for what you are paying for... Something quick and working on your short game. Also the staff was really friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a new bag from the pro shop and a new pair of shoes. I watched one of the pros give a lessons to a young girl. She was patient with her and really took time to explain to her what she was doing. I like that young women can learn from other women. I may sign up for a lesson myself. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at Windy Hill. There's a lot going on there: - a golf course - a par 3 golf course - a footgolf course - putt putt - go karts My intention was to do a nine hole extravaganza at footgolf but after a minor car accident earlier this week I was left watching my biz partner kick away. It was a little wet out there but one of the golf course managers apologized for the wetness and provided my biz partner a free pass to come out and play again. After the nine holes he asked us some feedback and how they can improve. I thought it was a nice touch. Footgolf you might ask? Soccer + golf = footgolf. You kick a soccer ball on a golf course to a much bigger hole in the ground. You play it just like golf. We had a few minutes to kill before our next meeting so we did 18 holes of putt putt golf. There wasn't a clown mouth or a windmill but this simple design was very challenging. For a golf course they had some pretty good food. Burgers at a golf course are ALWAYS good. Why, I don't know but they are. And their prices were quite reasonable. Not a bad one stop shop for the family! read more

Windy Hill Sport Complex is one of the few places on the East Coast that hosts a new sport called Foot Golf. You play a golf hole with a sport ball instead of a golf ball and club. It's $10 to play Windy Hill's Par 3 course once of $15 to play it twice. The sport is an afterthought at Windy Hills and really isn't worth the experience. What I expected: - Greens that had a foot golf hole in addition to a golf ball hole - Foot Golf hole that would be surrounded by a nicely trimmed green What I got: - No trimmed green for foot golf - extremely narrow fairways that meant you naturally bounced in the woods -holes that were impossible to make it in 3 kicks - Pin placements for Foot Golf were all off to the side or in swamps that made it difficult to get to -Pin holes with garden baskets, clever but so swamp full of water, you didn't want to hit your ball in. Merging for Hole 9 with the 18 hole course also created traffic jams. It just didn't work out for us and we were a bit disappointed. I think the technology for this sport is getting better, so I hope the best for them but I don't think we will be bringing our kickball league there anytime soon. read more

what should happen if your golf cart runs out of power? a) full refund and replacement cart and apology b) reduced green fee and replacement cart and apology c) replacement cart as soon as possible and apology d) no apology, no discount, rude cashier, replacement cart only after a long wait(fifteen minutes) if you chose 'd' then you are, unfortunately, correct! the older lady who works the counter is rude and uncaring. she needs to retire or at least be reassigned - perhaps to retrieving balls on the driving range....she should not interface with customers. this is a very nice facility but i rated two stars because of the poor customer service.... read more

With as many teenagers working that weren't very pleasant when we walked in they could be out there picking up all the trash laying around and with how expensive it is the putting greens should atleast not be ripped. The grounds were also not in great shape either. Wasn't very happy with my experience overall. read more

Make sure to get in before the grounds keeper come down to kick you off. My friends and I were told to replay the first two holes due to them working on a few of the greens. Which we did with ample time and with the sun still out. One of the grounds crew drove right down to us while still in the fairway. A bit rude don't you think? This is the second incident we've had at this location. read more

I was not pleased about the manager or owner (male) chastising the young female cashier in front of guests for incorrectly writing out a receipt. Very unprofessional and left me with a negative impression of the place. Didn't seem like a big enough deal to cause him to talk to her like that especially in front of a line of guests. read more

If you like a nice golf course out with your friends and family Windy Hill is not for you, first as we drove up to the Sports Park (if it could be called that) we noticed it was in a very dangerous neighborhood, I felt literally unsafe with my husband as we golfed (not to mention countless gay slurs as we are a gay couple from patrons). As we continued to golf a beaver walked right out onto the green, seriously? A beaver... on the green as I attempted to putt. That was on hole 2, on hole 4 i puted into the cup as a I am an above average golfer and a hornet promptly flew in my face and stung me. I was so disgusted about all of these animals and insects I asked for my money back which I was of course refused. I kept yelling about how I was stung but they didn't seem to care and one even put his finger up and said "After this show." I was so extraordinarily disgusted I packed up my pink golf clubs and stomped out of the room. My husband stayed there apparently and got our money back for he is more of a cool head than I am, he convinced me to play the last 3 holes (yeah its only 9 holes! Wtf?) and there were kids smoking narcotics in the woods. I mean I was a kid once but Come On! Talk about proper golf edicate. On the 9th hole the same kids were throwing beer cans on the fairway, and there was a staffmember fixing the green who wouldn't move, despite my pleas that I was about to Tee off. So, after all of this we decided to sit down for a nice hotdog, even though there was a fat man behind the counter sweating on all of the food, EW! I ate my hotdog in disgust and threw away the bun for it was moist with something I did not wish to learn of. All in all, Windy Hill Sports Park is weird, thats all I can describe it as, weird and bizzare. The driving Range looks like my backyard with a Urban-Style basketball hoop in the middle, suprisingly we were the only gay couple there. read more

Windy Hill is so much fun. you got batting cages, 2 mini golf courses, a driving range, and my favorite, go carts. and the best thing about the mini golf, you pay full price for one game, and all the other games after the first pay are only a dollar, BARGAIN!!!!! the batting cages have speeds as slow as underhand pitch to speed as fast as 88 mph (i go about 50-55). the driving range is on a downhill slope which i like because it allows the golf ball to cover more distance. and they have their own go cart track with twists and turns. even if you get spun out its still fun. great place to go to. read more

My family and I played 9 holes on the Lake Course Saturday and the greens and course was in great condition. All the staff was very helpful.

The go-kart track has broken up pavement and makes for a hard ride. Plus they make you slide sideways a little. The employees do not care about safety it seems at all. They don't watch the track during the races and just play on their cell phones. All they say is no bumping and that's all people do and the employees do nothing. I watched one girl get hurt when some other girl ran into her from behind when she stopped to avoid two other karts that wrecked due to them slamming into each other. The girl that got hit was really hurt and the employees didn't even respond. They didn't even see it happen because they were to busy being on their phone. The girl could barely move. When the girl came in the employees did nothing to help her. I will never take my children back here. These people are unsafe and don't care about keeping people safe. It's like the employees are there just to hang out. read more
