Told the…read moreperson who answered the phone who it was for and that I didn't want a fall or Christmas themed arrangement and that did not want something that looked like it was going to a funeral home. I continued to tell them that I wanted something bright and cheery. I asked if they had daisies and the lady said "yes, we have colored Gerber daisies" . When I picked up the arrangement, it was Exactly what I DIDN'T want. It literally was a white and pale pink flower arrangement in a clear vase with a white bow!!! (With literally three (3) daisies stuck in the vase. Not colorful, not cheery!!! Anything but cheery. The daisies looked like they were just an afterthought. I paid for the arrangement but then called the "owner" to tell him my disappointment. When he answered the phone he sounded half asleep and as if he couldn't have cared less. He said in his unconcerned voice, "I guess it's what your interpretation of cheery is", I continued to tell him I was not happy with the arrangement but less pleased with his flippant attitude. I try to support local businesses but I won't use this place any longer. I ended up having to go to Giant Eagle and had them make me a colorful two-toned purple bow and then bought colorful flowers and re-arranged the flowers myself at home. Very dissatisfied with this local business.

And driving through Lowelville, and Giant Eagle in Poland, did a Google, and saw Kushner's was very close to our location. Went there, it was after 4pm on a weekday. Was suprised they were even open. Got GREAT personal service, the flowers we got had just been trimmed out. The garden spade and other tools I bought were great quality and very inexpensive. I will be back to buy more plants, and garden type stuff. They have solar lights, trelisses, fountains and pond care accessories. I very strongly reccomend anyone shop here for any gardening needs. And they have more than just plants. Landscaping material, stones bricks statues patio furniture etc. and prices on most items that beat walmart easily. Add in the quality of what they sell, and the honest interest the staff shows for the customer, and you have a place that is exactly what I want when doing something as important as buying plants and landscaping materials for the house, or for your apartment patio or deck. All price ranges for every pocketbook or need.

This is the first year my husband and I went and cut our own tree down and it was so fun! Everyone…read morethat worked there was friendly and helpful. They made it easy to know how to get to the trees we wanted (the tractor ride was reminiscent of pumpkin patches but for Christmas trees ). They have precut trees for anyone who doesn't want to cut their own tree and they had a nice selection with several different sizes. After running through the trees for about an hour we finally found our tree and it is so full and absolutely gorgeous. It was a great experience and worth the money considering it cost less than buying a tree at a store and we now have a fresh, just cut tree at home.
