We planned a super last minute bachelorette party for my friend in Napa this past weekend. I am so glad I found Wine Me away! Melyna helped me reach out to over 50+ wineries because everything was fully booked and we were extremely last minute. It wasn't easy because we were a group of 14 girls... but she helped save the day! We were able to visit 3 wineries! I truly appreciate her SO SO MUCH!!! It was so easy to get in contact with her from the get go and she was very responsive throughout the planning process. I will definitely be using Wine Me Away again and I highly recommend! Thank you Melyna!!!

Perfect! If you need help setting up a vacation this is the place to go! Melyna was accommodating, thoughtful, approachable and very knowledgeable! We are a group of 15 friends who had never been to Napa. Melyna took care of everything. She contacted wineries, made reservations and was so easy to work with. When you have 15 people you become a "small" group and have restrictions, Melyna took care of everything! And at the end of the trip she called for feedback! I highly recommend her services and feel I gained a friend!

Abraham was our guide and started us off with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc as we started our tour of the caves. He provided a nice history of the winery and the caves and then we were escorted to a private room having a beautiful view of the vineyards and mountains, to taste the various estate Cabernet Sauvignons. Stag's Leap Wine Cellars make some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the valley. Abraham LED us through the various estate cabs finishing off with the 100-point CasK 23. We were with a very fun group and Abraham did a great job of guiding us through the wines. To finish off he let us taste a collaboration wine between Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and Stag's Leap Winery after they completed their negotiations over trademarks. Would recommend visiting Stags Leap Wine Cellars anytime you're in the Napa Valley area. Or even making a special trip just to visit Stag's Leap.

Understanding that Winiarski couldn't run this forever and the sale being the succession plan available to him, the results are massive tour buses and staff that read from a script and lack an understanding of the winery's role in putting Napa literally on the map. At least they ditched the expanded branding / vintages / blends and have returned to their roots. Skip the winery, buy Fay, SLV or Cask 23 off the website or from your local wine store - and visit elsewhere.

They are prepared w/ a Luxury black shuttle van. Paul (our driver) was so informative and so knowledgeable about the Sonoma and Napa History. I appreciate how they already had an itinerary planned out for the day. We visited 4 wineries which one had a wonderful farm to table lunch waiting for us (which this was included in ticket price) Each winery visited made us feel at home/great stories/great people and great wine waiting for us upon arrival! Wine tasting fees are addl around $35-40 per person. Our last winery visited Paul helped us to get TSA approved shipping boxes which wine got home safely! Wish we could've stayed longer at Buena Vista and Sangiacomo. Would highly recommend wine trolley/bus tour and felt ticket price was reasonable for having great service/knowledgeable driver/lunch for an all day tour.

We were all laughing and have such a great time together! Our guide Paul was hilarious and had lots of great knowledge of the area. Everyone is small business owned at the places we stopped at and also felt very natural and warm. The interactions with everyone was fun and I definitely got some wine knowledge too! We stoped at four places. One beautiful vineyar with spectacular views, a food terrace and wine tasting area, a winery and makery, and another wine tasting bar. Would definitely do this again and highly recommend!

Each cart is called by number and you get in a line before boarding. Before boarding they also take your picture which you can purchase at the end of the tour. Food options were delicious and they have extra options to add on such as appetizers and extra drinks. It was a 3 course meal with dessert. You are seated throughout the tour and have small breaks to get up and walk around. Truly a wonderful experience but be prepared to sit for long hours. Staff were beyond great and made the experience even better!

The rail follows alongside the highway so views were not necessarily 'outstanding' because I was on the train. I do not need to ride this train to see these views. I did not have to drive, that brings the rating up, but there are MANY ways to not drive in Napa. It was a little rickety, but acceptable. The food, 2/5 stars, substandard for the cost. Portions were small (half a piece of bacon, 1 small egg for a Benedict, etc.) and taste was middle of the road. The service/staff 4/5. Most everyone was very hospitable and did their job well. However, it did feel as if we were 'just another group'. Everything is very script and not especially personalized. For example, I'm on a wine train and no one asked my wine preference. Which brings me to the wine we tasted on the train 1/5. I expected a higher quality of tastings. In addition, offer a choice of flight, white or red or a mix of both. Or, hear me out...offer wine pairings for each course (included with my ticket, not for extra cost). Stopping at the sign and enjoying the tasting in the open car was a wonderful choice, wine selection is greatly lacking and to be honest, a great disappointment. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but this was not necessarily due to being on the Napa train specifically, it was because I was on vacation in Napa. I could see the business cutting costs in almost every aspect and that is unfair because I am paying a premium cost of approx. $100/h. And for some of that time, I'm at the winery and not even on the train. Which brings me to the end of my rating, for the stops 2.9/5. The stops felt rushed, especially our first stop. They are about an hour each, but this includes disembark and reembark times. I wanted a little more time at each winery to make a purchase or walk the grounds. I will not be recommending this particular experience, I believe many improvements can be made. Lastly, I booked this experience due to several social media content creators experience. These creators are getting their experiences paid for. Be sure to read ratings from those of us not being sponsored.

Hands Down the Best Driver in Napa Valley!…read more I discovered George on Yelp, and after comparing other Napa car services--many quoting well over $1,000 for wine tours--it's clear why his customers rave about him. His reviews truly say it all! There were plenty of reasons we chose George over the rest. From our very first contact, George was incredibly responsive and communicative. I had a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) for my husband's 40th birthday celebration and needed a vehicle that could securely accommodate a car seat with a latch system--his car was absolutely perfect. He arrived right on time, greeted us warmly, and was super easy to talk to. Throughout the day, George consistently arrived within minutes at each of our destinations. He didn't just drop us off--he guided us to the exact entrances and exits of every winery, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he shared insightful feedback about why each winery is special, adding a whole new level of appreciation to our tour. Another bonus, he provided water in an iced cooler and white glove door service! What really stood out was George's impressive local knowledge. Without even needing navigation, he expertly drove us from Petaluma to Napa while sharing fascinating stories and history about the wineries, estates, and the region itself. If you want a professional, friendly, affordable, and knowledgeable driver for your Napa experience, George is your guy! Highly recommend and would easily book him for our next trip!

Our host was warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, sharing great insights about the winery, the Stags Leap District, and the wines without ever feeling rushed. The cheese platter was a lovely addition and paired nicely with the tasting. Napa Neighbor Month also included 10% off wine purchases, so we happily brought home our favorites: the Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and the limited-production Cabernet Franc. It seems they close at 4:30pm, so I'm not too sure why they have reservation slots for 3:30pm - we felt pretty rushed throughout the tasting, and towards the end we were told that the wines for tasting would be taken away soon. Our host was friendly but seemed a little spread thing covering 4+ tables - he mentioned he was covering both tables inside and outside. We didn't learn much about the wines because of this, but unfortunately none of them really stood out to us and we didn't end up take anything home with us. The grounds do have a really interesting demonstration vineyard that showcases different ways that vines are grown and we did take a walk through the vines and enjoyed the views a little before leaving which made up for the brisk and overall unmemorable tasting.
