When my sister and brother-in-law, who have a small boutique winery in Northern California, came to Boise for Thanksgiving, I wanted to share my excitement about Idaho wines with them. I Googled "Wine Tours" and Winery Seekers came up. All I expected was a chauffer and a guide, but when I called Kathy to make arrangements, I realized I'd get a lot more, and we weren't disappointed. She is very well versed in both Idaho and California vintners, knows the varietals and has fun background tidbits to share about Idaho's wine history and the people who make wine. She also made sure we stayed on schedule, got to speak with the winemakers themselves and had photographic mementos of our tour. This was the most perfect experience! I planned a bachelorette weekend for my friend from across the country, and Kathy made it seamless and easy. She curated a tour specific to our tastes, gave history and information in each winery we went to and general Idaho wine history. She was accommodating and made sure that we had the day we wanted! She balanced getting us settled and giving some information at the wineries, to giving us alone time to catch up and laugh. This tour was ABSOLUTELY worth the money. What an amazing day we had! The wineries we went to were perfectly chosen for us! The background information Kathy (the owner and our tour guide) gave us was so interesting and being able to meet the owner added extra fun to our day. We went to wineries I would probably not have gone to on my own, but will definitely go back to! She kept us on track (We were a bit like herding cats!) and kept our wine purchases organized and safe from the heat in an ice chest she brought. Winery seekers is top notch. This is my second time with them and Kathy is so knowledgeable. Any questions about the wine, area, people running them, and the process, she has the answer. She and her husband are so nice and professional, even when we get a little silly. This was a very fun day, Kathy helps decide what wineries you should visit depending on your wine tastes. Or driver was very nice and gives you info about the wineries. One of our people could not make the tour and I assumed I would just lose that money but they sent me a voucher for use within a year. I attended as a team bonding activity and it was a blast. Kathy was a great tour guide, taking the time to educate me on the different types of wine and what goes into creating them. This was a great experience, very knowledgeable about the Idaho wine scene. Took our tastes into consideration and picked five great places for us to try. We were in town from out of state to visit some small production, up and coming wineries in the Snake River area. Kathy did a great job scheduling us with exactly the kind of wineries we were looking for. Small batch vineyards where we could mingle with the owners. My wine-tasting themed bachelorette party was so much fun, in large part to Kathy and the amazing wine tour! We had so much fun visiting 4 different local wineries, each very unique.
