We were so excited to see that the new manager added some fantastic new booths by opening up the carriage house section which is entered into on the second floor if you follow the entrance sign arrow at the end of the last booth down the hall. If you miss it, you will miss alot of great items. We found all of the staff to be super friendly and helpful and even on a hot, busy day, they were available to assist us with questions about items and helped carry our purchases to our car! Would absolutely come back often. It is one of the best antique shops on US1 in maine as far as we are concerned.

If you're looking for legitimate antique primitives, colonial or Victorian pieces, this is it. Prices are kind of high, but these are one of a kind things. The first stop on a trip is the Parker-French Antique Center and this place is absolutely fantastic. From the outside this place looks pretty smell but the moment you walk in you realize that there's actually a couple of big rooms full of all sorts of antiques, retro toys, war memorabilia, and everything else under the sun. The staff here is super friendly and both my parents and my wife found things that they just needed to add to whatever collection they are working on at the moment, I don't know, my wife is buying a creepy little statue with nuns on it. Overall, this place is definitely going to be on my "must hit up" list whenever I'm visiting my family in New Hampshire. I mean, how can I not hit up a place that has stuff from The Flintstones, WWF, and the Toronto Blue Jays? Although I left empty handed (myself at least).

The art was very well priced, and I loved the beachy, worn feel of many of the furniture pieces. (Now tempted to redecorate!) I found a beautiful, 100% linen designer jacket, made in the US. It was fun to try it on in the large, comfortable fitting room, with full length mirrors both inside the dressing room, and inside the little alcove next to the room.I wasn't quite sure about if it would go with the skirt and shoes I owned, and asked Beth, the person who was helping me, offered to hold it for me. I returned with my items, tried it all on, and the jacket worked perfectly. And even better, it was on sale! I had a great experience, great customer service, and I feel as if I "discovered" Christine's. I will be back when I am looking for something a little special, and a charming shopping experience.
