Love Korean chicken, so finally decided to try this. Not as expected, just crispy deep fried chicken with a choice of sauces, hot, garlic or liquorice. This I had to try, so ordered the 6 wings with mix sauces, i.e. two of each. For £2 extra, you can add skinny fries and a small drink. Well, normally do not like liquorice, but this tasted much better than I thought, sweet, but the liquorice, well not so liquorice! Hot was very hot and garlic was nice. Would suggest getting drumsticks though as much meatier. Since the sauces are just coatings on the crispy exterior, the chicken inside of the crispy coating, does not taste of much. The flavours was just not there. On the whole, it is fast food, nothing more.

Food: Amazing! If you're looking for your BonChon fix in London, here is where it's at! They were a bit brunt and had a different type of breading but still good! You can add fries and a drink to any meal for 2£. Happy hour is a joke; 12 wings and 2 beers for 17£. A 6 piece wing set is 7£ regularly. Happy hour is 6-close. Photos attached of the soy garlic 6 piece we got. You can see them slightly burn the soy garlic, good different taste. Location: We saw this place by chance. We stayed because when we walked in the place it smelled of soy garlic wings! Right now we're on a soy garlic addiction. We were walking from the train station trying to avoid surcharging with Uber so we stopped here to get a quick bite. Bathroom: Surprised at how clean they were. The sinks were shared between the men and women. Dyson dryers. Soap and sinks very modern looking. Not much filth on the ground. Bottom line: I recommend everyone stop here and try them if you're in the area! Very fun place that felt lively. Some people were eating and working on their laptops too. I was craving Korean wings and this place did it for me!

A solid chimek (Korean fried chicken and beer) place. There is a meal deal that comes with chicken, fries, and a soda. The fried chicken can be tossed in three different types of sauces: hot, garlic, or liquorice. The liquorice is a bit too sweet for me. I liked the garlic sauce though. The skinny fries came with some sprinkled salty seaweed which was a nice touch. Overall, it is your standard Korean fried chicken place. It's really close to all the universities and the library. So, it's nice place for some chimek with friends.

Love Korean fried chicken, can't get enough of it. However it was a special moment here for me. I love the atmosphere and hype, even with its self pouring beer. Really pricey for what it was, and the flavours was not all there, adding to the fact, they didn't use quality grade chicken. I have tried Korean fried chicken, its not a new thing, so to my surprise when I took one bite, I can immediately say, this chicken is no more different than the one serves at my local chicken shop, or the local Chinese takeaway. The deals on beer was decent, and the ordering process was quick. Its not Bonchon, (can't wait for a London store) and its pricey, and most likely I won't visiting again.

Came her due to being popular for their wings. The welcoming from the employee taking our order was poor customer service. She seemed annoyed and did not act friendly toward us. The food was great!!! We devoured the wings and fries. Overall the kitchen team and food are the positives of this establishment.

I have been waiting to try 'Chimaek' and finally got the chance to eat it. So I went for the spicy and soy garlic wings and got fries and a coke for an additional 2£ which was really worth it. Taste: 7.5/10 good chicken but not that spectacular Staff: 10/10 I would definitely give it a try.

Bf got chicken sandwich and he said it was really good, soft bun that holds well, nice and crispy well seasoned chicken patty with moist meat. He's also got chicken wings here before and said they were really good. I got 6 chicken tenders not realizing how big the pieces were going to be. The chicken was well seasoned, super moist even if white meat, nice meat to batter ratio, super Big Crunch. 4 different dipping sauces you can buy for 50p (mayo or ketchup free next to utensils) Bathrooms are fairly clean. Cucumber salad reminds me of a Korean cucumber salad of a bean paste but this one was sesame and I believe peanuts. Little salty little tang and nice fresh chunks of cold cucumbers. Very crunchy. Staff is nice and patient even though I couldn't really make up my mind. Would definitely recommend or go back if I'm ever in the area again

We decided to go with the "spicy" chicken tender meal, which consisted of some "Cajun" spices being thrown on top of some already cooked regular tenders. It made the chicken so gritty, I was very disappointed. It was also $16 for that meal??? I understand it's a nicer area but for that quality that was beyond excessive. Definitely will not be coming back to this place next time I'm in London. Side note: I was here in February 2020 but have found myself very overdue to leave a review.

About 2 months ago, i went to a restaurant where I encountered a very painful and distressful…read moreexperience where I felt bullied. They took my phone to "repair" but until now, countless tries of contact them and i still haven't gotten my phone back. This is what happened. I was at Cookhouse Joe, SOHO brunch, on Monday (28 July) for dinner with my friend. It all went well until a waitress dropped a knife on my mobile phone and leg. The screen on my mobile phone cracked as a result the phone is not usable anymore, but fortunately for me, my leg was alright. The waitress immediately apologised and said that she will pay for the damages. I'm using a mobile phone that do not have an office in London and therefore no service centre. But after that, the manager told us that the restaurant will be responsible, however they could not offer any form of compensation as it was too late at night (9.05pm) because they could not get in touch with the boss. We then told the manager that the waitress offered to pay and there was no need to contact the boss. When we spoke to the waitress again, she said she will only pay for repairs but as I was using a Xiaomi phone, I told her that they didn't have a service centre in London and I need a phone as I didn't want to be uncontactable. She then asked us to give her a minute. We told them that I need a phone immediately or at least the next day as I am here alone and my family contacts me everyday to make sure I'm okay. So we suggested that they got me a spare phone or a new phone. Next thing we knew the manager came to us and shouted that "I already told you to come back tomorrow, and now you are making my waitress cry" and started chasing us out of the restaurant. While chasing us out, he sure didn't forget about the bill and demanded that we pay for the dinner before we leave. We called in the police but they mentioned that as this is a civil dispute, they could not get involved. We also contacted the embassy for advice but they referred us to the police, so we are back at square one. We went back the next day to get things settled during the time stated by the manager, as he said the boss will be around during that time. When we were there, all he told us was "the boss doesn't sit around" waiting for us to come. He also started calling us names like stupid and said that we were trying to blackmail / threaten them. I have never felt more threatened by a person! Not only was my phone damaged and unusable, my friend and I were bullied and insulted. I have a recording of him calling my friends and I stupid, at least twice because my friends posted a bad review online. He said that, "We can't be going into a restaurant and just expect cash like that." He also chased me out and said that I was trespassing his restaurant and that I wasn't to step foot in the restaurant ever again. He took my mobile phone and mentioned that because we didn't pay for our bill of 30GBP, they can only try to repair my 150GBP phone and won't guarantee until we paid. The whole experience has been seriously distressing and traumatising.

My male colleagues at work kept going on about this place that the wraps are "really really good"…read moreand also "Serena, you would love it!". Somehow I failed to believe them because they had recommended some places before and it fell short of my great expectation. Nevertheless, I did decide to try it. That week, I was craving Arabic cuisine but didn't want to go that extra mile. So, I took their advise. It is a cozy restaurant in a one way road, off Oxford street almost opposite "The Plaza". It is quite dim inside, with tables at the back and benches at the entrance. I ordered the lamb wrap and it was amazing. It was the closest I could get to authentic Lebanese food, the garlic sauce hit the spot. Memories of home kept flooding my head. Every table is treated to a bottle of something which at first, I thought was a bottle of wine! To my disappointment, it was just water... Good, keep customers hydrated! Pros: -Good for small groups -Quirky -Great food and lots of it! -Close to the high street -'Green man' pub just opposite Cons: -Slightly pricier meals on the menu but it's London. -There's not enough space in my belly to finish the food. -Can get very busy and packed. Advise: -Please do visit and try it yourself!
