Brought him 5 knives of various pedigree, 2 that were at least 40 years old but I use all the time, a favorite pocket knife that I could never get sharp and a couple newer ones. When I picked them up, they were the sharpest I have ever seen! Jeff's pricing is very reasonable, especially for the results, and he's a very amiable guy, which just adds to the experience. Vince can take a cheap Harbor freight machete and make it a very dangerous tool. Also in 60's they did small engine repairs and were they Vespa scooter dealer for Walnut Creek. No they do not have email or a website. They are a CASH only business also.They never took credit cards or ATM. They quit taking checks sometime during COVID I think.

Ambrose was great from the start because they offer pick up and drop off service! I was able to take care of all my kitchen knives, in addition to my personal sets and Ambrose got them all done within a 48 hour period! Are their system is organized, they keep track of all your knives, take pictures, and make notes on all specialty knives if you have special requests! Everything was individually wrapped and stored appropriate upon their return, and Customer Service was excellent from start to finish! In general you should be sharpening your house kitchen knives every 6 to 7 months, this is the business that you need to call to make that happen for you!
