Clean up-to-date hotel. Indoor pool. Across from huge park and nice restaurants. Waffles at breakfast :-) We stayed here a little more than a weekend while for a friend's wedding. We love this location, with all the Blue Ash and Summit Park have to offer! We took walks on the multiple paths around the 135-acre park, and saw some cool surprises like a fish-stocked catch-and-release pond, climbers and such for older kids separate from a nice playground for the younger ones. We heard a live rock band on a covered patio area that seems to be a favorite nesting area for chirping birds. There's a 9-level 153-foot observation tower where you can see downtown! And we ate several times at a great inexpensive taco place, a brewpub with it's own playground, a delicious ice cream shop, and a combined cafe and bar. The hotel was clean and up-to-date throughout, and we saw them mop the lobby floor every day. 6am breakfast was popular and pretty busy, with scrambled eggs and sausage every day, sometimes turkey sausage. The coffee was tasty and hot and never ran out. The two or three toasters worked well. And they have three waffle makers, so you hardly had to wait at all! They have a nice clean pool that opens at 9am. It's not huge, but we never felt over crowded. The mangers and staff were welcoming and responsive. For example, they never scolded me for misplacing my key (three times!). We felt that the rooms were reasonably priced. It was a great place to stay! read more

Stayed there for 3 nights, slept well, had a sticky substance on the floor near the wall so put a rag over it and kept on trucking because otherwise the room was clean and well kept. Ran out of toilet paper the ls last day as no maid service due to COVID-19 but come on a mini basket with fresh towels and toilet paper left at the door or in the room would have helped. Would stay there again because location location location. read more

First time coming here, I needed a place to stay at while I was in the Cincinnati area. The man at the front desk was a joy to talk too. He's even the bartender though everything here is limited.... There's a beautiful park right in front of this place too. The rooms were great and well taken care of, the breakfast here was okay but the eggs were very watery. We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham Cincinnati-Blue Ash during a tour of this area for four nights in August. We could not have picked a better hotel. The staff was excellent - every member went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Our group has been traveling for over twenty years, and this is the most accommodating of any lodging we stayed at. The hotel itself was very clean - both the individual rooms and the common areas. Our group had previously been on a trip to Northern Michigan, where the hotel lacked in many areas and had a very poor continental breakfast. The forty+ people in our group had nothing but good things to say about the breakfast at the Wingate. We would certainly stay at this location if we were in the area again and can only hope that future trips have lodging comparable to this. I love staying at wyndhams for business but this place was just bad. I checked in and right there on the table was this monster botch or stain staring right at me. First i thought it was poop or something. Called manager right away and asked to change the room. Went to the other room and it had the same stain on not only the desk but the sofa as well. See pictures. I mean fire the person who is in charge of housekeeping! Worse part is without realizing I touched the desk and that nasty stain mark was on my pants. No matter how much I tried it didn't come off. The bed was firm and pillows were like rocks. I excepted better than this. I ran out of that hotel as fast as I can only to be told that they were staining the desks with some English stain. Sorry that's not my problem. Keep the rooms clean and I would have stayed. Perhaps I've just been in some exceptionally crappier hotels as of late, but Wingate delivered a completely normal living experience and that is the best review of a hotel I can give. Just a wonderful hotel experience. Been going there for past 7 years for Western Southern Tennis Open and the facility is so clean. Offer Evening Dinner Snacks (Pizza) and Upscale Breakfast Buffet. Wi-Fi is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I travel often and stay at many hotels and Wingate by Wyndham (blue ash) is one of the best I have stayed at. Clean, nice hotel not too far off the highway. Breakfast includes protein options (i.e., eggs) alongside standard cold carb options and hash browns. Toiletries include moisturizer and make up removing cloth, along with soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. Reasonably priced. Would gladly stay here again if I was traveling through the area. read more

The Wingate in Blue Ash is the best we have stayed at so far. Compared to the crown plaza, embassy suites and Hilton Garden all in this area, the Wingate soars. The room we had was spacious with a sofa and a comfortable queen bed and was VERY clean. Our visit was in late Jan and the heater worked well and was quiet. Room was stocked with the typical items - no frills but it does have a fridge microwave, coffeemaker and iron. Also a suitcase stand which I don't often see in this level of hotel. Check in was speedy and the front desk gal was very personable. Breakfast in my opinion was not what I expected but still it was good. Hot breakfast bar with eggs sausage and waffles and then your other typical bread and cold items (cereal, yogurt, fruit). The oranges had been frozen so that was a disappointment. However there was a young man actually stationed in the dining room to keep up the bar - clean and restock and he was diligent at his job. We found that impressive that they dedicated a staff member to this task and that he was so efficient. For the price - excellant. As we frequent stays in Blue Ash where family is, this will be where we return! read more

This hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate (about 35 mins from the airport). The rooms are very clean and the hotel comes with free breakfast. It is an older hotel, so it could use some upgrades and fresh paint. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's not a bad place to stay for the price. read more

This is a nice hotel but too far out if you're attending the tennis tournament. The tournament has grown over the years and we were stuck in traffic for more than an hour just on the exit ramp area. Stay closer in and avoid the god awful traffic mess which the city does nothing to move along. I stayed here while attending the Western & Southern tennis tournament. The desk staff was great, especially the guy with the beard, whose name eludes me but who seemed like he was always on duty and was always incredibly friendly and helpful. The fitness center is rather small--it consists of two treadmills, a bike and an eliptical and a set of weights, which are actually nice weights. I will say, the mildew in the grout in our room was a little offputting but overall it was a nice room. read more

I specifically chose this location because of their association with a nearby surgical center. They claimed to be accommodating of those guests who were having surgery. Imagine my surprise when, a few hours after having surgery and trying to recuperate in peace, Sherri the front desk manager calls my room. I have trouble with the phone so, thinking it's important, I go down to the front desk when I'm supposed to be resting and recovering to find out what the issue is. Turns out Sherri desperately needs to tell me that Miguel the breakfast attendant saw me taking extra packets of cocoa (you know, the kind that cost $2 for 10 at any Walmart) and they need to discuss that. Bear in mind, I'm in party of 4 and I've had to fast since the prior evening. Excuse me for-gasp-eating at a hotel for which I'm paying for the supposedly complimentary breakfast. Absolutely catty, Fantastically unprofessional, and most definitely inhospitable. If you're in the area for surgery I would advise another hotel as they don't seem to be sensitive to patients' recovery needs. Also the toilet overflowed in several successive rooms and we had to be moved repeatedly. The first time Miguel the maintenance man/cocoa monitor "fixed" the toilet by simply shutting off the water, and assured us it was, "fixed", despite not flushing. read more

A++ grade for this hotel. We couldn't have asked for better stay. It started it with Christina checking us in and Rayons Salehi making things go smoothly for all the rooms we had reserved. The last minute storm in the Midwest put a hamper on some travel plans and part of our group never made it to Ohio. No worries the staff here helped keep track of all the changes. Breakfast is included so that is a bonus. We already booked rooms for our trip this upcoming May. read more

While the room was clean and the beds comfortable, this hotel is showing some wear and in need of some updates and TLC. The backdoor lock was not working, so it was left unlocked. The staff never seemed to be at the desk and when I asked about local restaurants, I received a vague and almost rude answer. Card was charged the first evening (not at checkout) and there were no towels at the pool. While it worked for this trip, I do not think I would stay again as the are many options in the area. read more

Great hotel! Upon our arrival and hearing our name, the front desk staff reviewed our reservation details. Nice start, but what made this service special was that she said she noticed on the reservation we had a child and asked if we wanted to be close to the pool. What business looks and cares about those things? In this day and age where some hotels act like we should be thankful they held a reservation as it was asked for, the Wingate set itself apart. They also provided an unadvertised Mexican dinner from a local restaurant and it was delicious! Without a doubt, this Wingate will be first on the list when we travel around Cincinnati. read more

I stay here often and I must say for the price the rooms are nice and everything seems to be in good order. However, when I check in today the lobby has a sign up that says "No Pool Parties"! The front desk person acted like I should know that this is a big problem at this Hotel! I get to my room it's about 2:30pm I step into the restroom for a minute and someone tries to break into my room. No knock, no hello it's.....! Nothing! I called the front desk and they laughed at me and said "Oh that might be a maintenance person". I said, don't they knock or say something before they come in your room? They said "I'll check for you sir"! I'm a CCW. If I'm in my room and someone just walks in without a knock or hello, they will be met with aggression! I'm having second thoughts about my rating now! The owner tried to make amends but the next time I stayed at this location I was made to feel like it was my fault that this issue happened. The front desk manager was rude and short with me. Very nice hotel - especially at this price point. My room was spotless, and I found the staff and managers to be very attentive. The breakfast was definitely one step above a normal continental breakfast - it offered a few cereals, oatmeal, muffins/bagels/toast, make your own waffles, fruit, juices, eggs, sausage links, and french toast sticks, from what I remember. Amazing Customer service! First of all, this was one of the nicest, cleanest hotels I've stayed in. Especially for the price. Friendly staff and great location. The Wi-Fi was superior and we could download an app on our phone to watch all of our favorite channels on our hotel tv. The best part started out not so great. When I was trying to book 3 rooms for $105 a night over the internet, there was a glitch that would not allow me to choose 3 rooms. I called the central reservation number and spoke to a gentleman who whites me $89 per night I was blown away telling him how amazing that rate was. He locked me in and I thought that was that. First shady thing that happened was my email confirmation only had the 3 night total for all three rooms, which when I calculated, was higher than the quoted rate. Turns out, when I call customer service, my rate was 89 for first night , then 115, then 130. I was lied to by the reservation rep. I called customer service to complain and was passed on to the research specialist. Andrea J. was wonderful . After investigating my complaint I was told to just email my final bill to her and the will send me a refund for the difference in my quote. True to her word, as soon as I did, two weeks later I received a check for the difference. Top notch customer service. I will stay as often as possible in one of their hotels from now on. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. My husband and I stayed at this location for a weekend getaway while celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. We checked in our Friday night around 8PM and had to change rooms 4 times. The first room had no key for the safe, second room smelled of smoke, third room the sound on the tv didn't work. We checked over the fourth room and when we thought everything was fine with it we set our stuff down and went to dinner. We crawled into bed and right away realized the bed was hard as a rock. We thought we could deal with it for another night but Saturday as the day went on we found to have more and more back pain from the bad nights sleep from Friday. When we were out Saturday evening we decided we wanted to just go home. I called the front desk who said it's past the 2pm cancellation time so they put me on hold to speak to a customer service rep. I was on hold for at least 20 minutes. Once I explained why we wanted to not stay another night the customer service rep placed me on hold for 10 minutes came back to tell me she talked with the front desk and the front desk said they can allow us to check out Saturday night but we have to pay for half day because its past 2pm. The customer service rep got my name then said she needs to put me on hold and will come back to ask for more contact information...I was on hold for 5 minutes then was hung up on. At this point I was already back at the hotel so I walked in and talked to the girl at the front desk and explained everything that has gone on up to that point. And how I didn't understand why they even have a customer service line if all they are going to do is call the front desk (who customers were already on the phone with) if the front desk makes the decision on what to do why have a middle man? Waist of money in my eyes, money that could be going towards better beds and making the hotels better. The girl at the front desk said that because its after 2PM they will have to change us for half day. I then explained I am on the friends and family list and got a discount because of that and I would hate if this is how they treat friends and family how do they treat a regular guest. That's when the girl at the front desk said "because you had to change rooms 4 times AND your on the friends and family list we will take off the charges for today but you still have to pay for last night." I will never stay at this location again and makes me not want to stay at any of the locations because of how they use the customer service rep for really nothing. VERY disappointed and would NOT recommend to anyone! read more
