Wingnutz are basically my favorite wings in Buffalo, but this was my first time at the location near the airport. I went on a Monday recently and there werent many people inside as it was lunch time. It's spacious inside and connected to a hotel. They had merch you could buy at the front and an outside eating area. They had lunch specials so we got one and ate inside. We waited longer than what I feel is reasonable during the day and I was surprised considering there were few people inside. Besides the food taking too long, I got 5 wings, fries and drink lunch special and it was filling and a great deal. Food was fresh and tasty. I love the garlic parm. I'd go back and hope the next time would be better as far as faster service. I took one star off for that. Our server was nice though. My boyfriend and I came here three days ago. We were really hungry. I had a spicy margarita that was good. We ordered jumbo mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They were disappointing. Three out of the mozzarella sticks didn't have any cheese on them. The server apologized but they weren't taken off of our bill. We split an order of 20 wings. I had their garlic parm, which is always amazing! I also ordered their signature sauce, which is sweet and tangy as advertised. My boyfriend had their hot sauce and their spicy Cajun. He enjoyed both of them but preferred the regular hot sauce over the spicy Cajun. We weren't checked on to see if we wanted another water or alcoholic beverage. We came here for Elite night, the atmosphere was great and I got the chance to meet a lot of people, we dined on sliders, pizza, and some great chicken wings. My favorite was the signature wings with the bomb sauce. The sauce was so good that my son and I visited 2 more times. The service was great. Great spot. Stopped on a Sunday night. Zero complaints. Place was clean and staff friendly. Everything from appetizers to drinks was top notch. Waitress was friendly and informative. I've tried almost every spot in Buffalo that serve wings. My honest opinion is WingNutz is top 3 if not the number one for wings. Perfect trifecta of sauce, crispness and size. A bit pricey but worth it for the quality. Wednesday's wings are discounted so it makes up for it. Also just a side note, I generally judge a place on the details. Stopped in for dinner on 6/15/26 with my wife. We both enjoyed the wings and pizza logs. It was nice being able to pick four different sauces for our order of 20 wings. My husband got the wing flight with fries, which was an awesome way to try a few different flavors, and I had the roasted veggie and black bean tacos with a side salad--everything was absolutely delicious. I find it quite astonishing that I was contacted to provide a rating, considering the experience I had. I placed a room service order by scanning the code in my hotel room around 4 a.m., unaware that the restaurant was closed at that time. The transaction was processed and the payment was taken, yet there was no communication regarding the status of my order--no notification that the restaurant was closed, and no estimated time of delivery. I was left confused, inconvenienced, and unsure of what was happening. Charging a guest for a service that isn't available, without any explanation, is deeply unprofessional and frankly unacceptable. I'm not sure what adjustments were made on their end, but the payment transaction no longer appears on my statement, which indicates the funds were never successfully withdrawn. However, what's truly disappointing is the lack of communication--no one has reached out with so much as a courtesy apology or explanation. For an establishment that presents itself with a certain standard, the silence is both unprofessional and telling. That said... A long time ago, when Wingnutz was in the Knights of Columbus, I was the Dutchess of Wingnutz on Yelp. We would go often. It was magical. I habe since relinquished my title. It took me a while to try out their location in Cheektowaga, next to the airport. Although, Wingnutz will never be able to capture the magic that was, with Ed and Alicia and the vibes at the Knights of Columbus, but it was great to relive the nostalgia at their new location. We got 30 wings in various sauces, but I only touched the gluten free Wingnutz special sauce, because why bother with the others? We also got 2 beers, and an order of fries and it was $84 and some change. The service was good, the food was a little slow in coming out. We arrived at 8:05pm and didn't get our order until 9pm. They close at 9pm, which is a little weird for a location that is near the airport and near a bunch of hotels. It should be open until 10pm. The wings were cooked well, the fries were good. Will I be back soon? Sure. Every once in a while. This would be a treat. The prices are a little high, but it is the same Wingnutz taste that was missing at the other locations between Knights of Columbus and their first real location following on Millersport Highway. Ok. I'm gonna be honest. This place (Wing Nutz) just opened in front of the Buffalo Airport Hotel. It used to be Sports 365. I've been to Sports 365 fairly regularly over the last year. We're talking weekly, or at least every other week. With friends and coworkers. In fair weather, the hotel courtyard has live music, which is nice. Sports 365 food was good, the prices were fair, and they had a fantastic Happy Hour, where you could get 2 for 1 cocktails. Now, this week, I visited Wing Nuts. The staff were great. The food was good. But the prices? Not so good. First off, I ask if Wing Nutz have a Happy Hour. Nope! No happy hour. Wing prices? We're talking about $2 a wing. I believe it was $20 for 10 wings. (Anchor Bar and Duffs are about $16-$17 for 10.) I think I paid $8.50 for a pint of LaBatts Blue Light. For a party of 2, for 2 orders of 10 wings, one salad, a lemonade, and one single beer, with tip, the cost was almost $80. That's a fail. If they brought back happy hour with the 2 for 1 cocktails, and knocked a couple of bucks off a basic beer, (we're talking LaBatt's here, not something like Rusty Chain or Southern Tier IPA) maybe I'd be inclined to stop in, more often, like I used to when it was Sports365. The wings are definitely good, but I'm more of a BarBill and Duff's dry rub aficionado. I honestly hope WingNutz fares well, but I'm definitely missing Sports 365. read more

Very rarely does the hype match the experience. This was one of those times. Wingnutz was amazing in every aspect of service. Dillon our server was on top of it and did a fantastic job. Kwan was an outstanding ambassador for the company and took the time to explain the backstory (which is remarkable in itself) and was so welcoming and kind. The wings are out of this world. Amazing crunch but still juicy. Wing sauce options are plenty and we tried 4 of them. The Wingnutz sauce was our favorite. All the staff interactions were friendly and accommodating. At the table, we had wings in 5 different flavors. The wings were huge and well flavored. The wings came out at three separate times and my son was the last to receive his. A couple of his wings were cold (like almost right out of a fridge cold) and he wasn't pleased that two different sauces blended into each other, essentially making his order a mix of two sauces rather then two different ones. Didn't stop him from eating them though. The prices are high but the wings are almost double the size that we see at most establishments. It was lunch hour on a weekday at this brand new location. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I was at the airport location tonight. Witnessed an altercation between 2 patrons. Over a football game. A clear misunderstanding. After the parton apologized for being in the wrong. The other patron (who clearly was inebriated) had some choice words to say to the other patron, whos significant other is a server there. This patron proceeded to use foul language and then say "let that b**** pay for my tab" referring to the sever... then proceeded to walk out. Not a single employee had the waitresses back. Nor did anything to stop the altercation. The staff chased him out the building. Apparently the bill being paid was more important then the safety and well being of 1) the waitress and 2) the other patron. In my 25+ years in the restaurant industry. This is embarrassing. I do have friends in the business, and I know how hard it is to control people and processes, but my wife told me she would never go back, so for Wingnutz, it's an unhappy customer that may never return. If there is one thing that kills a restaurant, it's consistency.
