Just being honest I did not like the service that much. Upon picking up my order the cashier had called and I left my phone in the car so she had a snappy attitude because I did not answer even though she literally just called as I walked into the restaurant. Its also in an odd location at a gas station and getting in there was difficult. I liked the price I paid but the wings weren't as spectacular as other reviews made them seem. I've had better. Honey hot was the wing flavor but I was expecting more honey flavor, they tasted like hot wings with a hint of a sweet flavor. 20 wings and some fries for 10 bucks is a steal but I probably won't be going back. It also closes rather early on weekends compared to many other wing places and restaurants in general that I've been to which stay open much later on weekends. read more

0 stars!!! I have been ordering from Wings on Wheat since they opened. The poor customer service I received today was enough to make me NEVER want to go there again. My food sat on the counter for almost 15 minutes after the kitchen had it prepared-maybe because the front end staff was so busy dancing, singing and folding boxes. Not only did they lie and say it just came up, but had the audacity to argue with me about calling them out on it. I simply asked them to drop my fries in the grease again because they were warm at best. The kitchen staff obliged but the guy at the front counter continued to argue even after I said I was good. I asked for my dressing before leaving and he wanted to charge me. I asked for two as a courtesy and he calls me nasty. Me and my nasty money will go elsewhere! read more

I can't believe I lived so close to this place and hadn't tried it before now. I was scared to try them because the building is joined to a gas station and I was just being picky but the wings DO NOT DISAPPOINT!!! they are AMAZING! I get Honey Hot BBQ (some other wing places have told me they can't make this flavor) their wings are perfectly cooked and crispy even with the sauce. We visit this establishment a few times. Once we ordered 1 flavor & got home it was the wrong flavor. We reached out that night, but they were closed. The next day we called & explain with a pic of wings & receipt. They stated it was nothing they could do if we didn't return the wings the next day. So not only did they get our order wrong, they wanted us to go out & buy another meal that night, save a box of wings until the next day & return them in the middle of a pandemic. Let me say I'm all about good customer service and this place lack customer service, and the customer comes first when you are the main reason that they are even in business. You try and support small ( black owned) business and not to mention a regular paying customer. But if you are not pleased with your order that there is nothing that they can do but say NEXT TIME try something else. Went here for lunch and great thing I did. I had a taste for some wings and didn't wanna be disappointed so I went off the reviews and it was just as expected. I got the "Peach Krack" that everybody on here was raving about and it was gooood! I even told the worker that it would taste even better mixed with alcohol. Anywho.. Lol the wings were great I had the honey lemon pepper wings and they were Sooo good and tangy fries. The fries were freshly cut with their specialty sauce. I am definitely a fan of this place. I've only had the wings, fries, and peach krack. Each time, my food was hot and delicious. The price is cheaper than a lot of places that sell wings. The flavor of the wings are great. This place is down the street from my job, so my coworkers and myself have been here on a few occasions. Customer service has been as well. This is my favorite wing spot but tonight they really disappointed me. I ordered a 20 pc and a 10 pc and the wings look pitiful they are anorexic, overcooked, nasty and cold nothing like they were in the many past visits and since they close early at 7 I dont have time to go up there to fuss (my husband picked this up). This is the first time I would say the food was terribly subpar but this isn't there first mess up, its just the first time I've been fed up enough to write a review. I have been charged for extra ranch dressing and not given it multiple times. And 1 other time my husband went to pick up wings for me and he had me order a fish special for him, he got to the store paid and them when it was time to bring out the food they tell him they dont have any fish AFTER he already paid for it. Had some taste for some chicken wings after being disappointed in true traditional southern chicken. Yelp it!! Been hooked here ever since. Their customer was just like the food they serve excellent. I placed a telephone order for 100 wings at this location which is 40mins from the Stone Mtn location which I stated on call, not being from Atlanta didn't realize there was two locations. When I got there to pick up my wings had called into this location not the Stone Mtn location. The manager at Stn Mtn location pleaded with owner to refund my money. He refused and would not talk to me, made his workers tell me nor would I get one penny of my money back or a discount on wings at current location. This is absolutely terrible customer service which I told my entire family and friends whom live there on how I was treated. You sold the wings kept my money, and because I needed the wings ASAP for an event I paid twice for same order. I guarantee word of mouth is powerful! My family and friends will never patronize your business again, in addition how many people will they tell countless! You got over this time, but in the end these businesses won't prevail when customer service is non existent! I went to this black owned establishment. I order over 100 wings and was told I needed to pay in advance. That was no problem. I ordered them almost an hour before my pick up time got there and they were not ready. After speaking to the owner, he gave me two free small dressings for all my trouble. It was unacceptable and poor customer service. I guess when you get customers then it doesn't matter how you treat them. Upon our arrival told the young man taking our order that I was hoping the wings were going to be great since I drove from Marietta. They did not disappoint!! Wings on Wheat is my go to spot for wings and more when I am in town. I live in south Florida and I can't get these types of wings here. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is very clean, the customer service is 5 star quality and the environment is somewhere you would love to hang out and meet friends. I am never going back here again. I was talked to in a condescending way by the owner Aaron and he insulted me & my family by making it look like we are trying to get something for nothing. I was a loyal customer until yesterday when I felt cheated not only was my order completely wrong but the lemon pepper was overpowering, the fries were greasy and some of the wings had feathers on them still. This was not honey lemon pepper. He assumed my family & I ate them and said very loud on the phone for the whole staff and probably customers to hear "You consumed our products and you want your money back"...I live down the street he can come get these 50 wings instead of waiting for me to come in so I can feel even more ridiculed. I would never talk down to a customer like that. I am now writing Better Business Bureau for a full refund. My family, I nor my entertainment clients will be returning to this establishment.
