As we know the ambiance of Frozen Rooster is amazing, I walked in, went directly to the counter and without hesitation I ordered the 3 Whole Wings with 1pc of Whiting Combo. For my side I got the Cajun Ranch Fries. Everything fried hard. Ummmmmmmmmmm!! As I sit here and type this review I can taste the memory. LoL!!!!!! Once my order was placed, I got my cups. Mixed my fruit punch and lemonade with the amazing crushed ice and took a seat. Babeeeeeeeeeeeeee. When the food came out all I could do was sit in happiness. Everything was perfectly fried hard how I wanted it. The seasonings were robust and aroused my nose through the steam. Oh my!!!! I bowed my head, said my grace, and I devoured the dish. On July 29, 2026, I placed a lunch order by phone at the Fayetteville, Georgia location. The young lady who took my order was friendly, polite, and took the time to make sure my order was correct. I ordered a fish sandwich deluxe combo, and specifically requested no sauce or any other sauce condiments on my sandwich. I repeated this request to ensure there would be no misunderstanding. I work about five minutes from the restaurant and left my office about ten minutes after placing my order. When I arrived, both the parking lot and the restaurant were empty. Despite that, I waited for more than ten minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Eventually, a young man came out from the kitchen but did not greet me or ask if he could help me. He appeared confused until I told him I was there to pick up my order. The young lady who had taken my order then came from the back to assist me. While chasing my order out, she informed me that the restaurant was out of tomatoes. However, I was still charged for the tomatoes, and she told me she was unable to remove the charge. When I returned to work and opened my meal, my food was lukewarm, and my sandwich had a special sauce on it despite my repeated request that it be served with no sauce or condiments. Despite the sauce on the sandwich, the fish lacked no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. Afterward, I called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager. I was told by the same young lady, there was no manager on site and that I would need to contact the manager Mimi, directly. She provided me with the manager's contact number, but when I called, the voicemail box was full, so I was unable to leave a message. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially since it was my first time trying your restaurant. Between the extended wait, being charged for an unavailable item, receiving food that was not prepared as ordered, and being unable to reach a manager, I left very dissatisfied. Frozen Rooster My family and I visited Frozen Rooster on a Saturday night (1/3/26) at approximately 8:00 p.m. We fully expected a wait due to the busy parking lot and were prepared to be patient. Unfortunately, the experience quickly became frustrating due to poor communication and lack of basic customer service. There was no host, no signage explaining the ordering process, and no one acknowledged us when we entered. We eventually learned--after standing at the counter--that the kitchen had stopped taking orders due to a large private party and a backlog of food orders. This information was not communicated proactively, and we were left standing at the counter for roughly 15 minutes with no updates. Multiple managers and even the owner walked past us during this time without acknowledging us, explaining the delay, or offering to seat us. Several other parties behind us were in the same situation, clearly confused and ignored. To add to the concern, a customer returned food due to an incorrect order while we were waiting. I truly wanted to support this Black-owned business, and the menu looked excellent--I was especially excited to try the catfish. However, if the restaurant cannot adequately serve walk-in guests while hosting private events, it may be best to close to the public during those times or increase staffing. Good food alone does not make up for poor communication and lack of guest care. Disappointing experience, and management needs to do better. read more

The music was a jukebox speaker, attached to the TV, with versus, more cursing , very loud, where you could not hear the person across from you talk, which was my mom and The DJ told me to put in your hearing aids, was very rude and disrespectful! The chicken and fish combo was okay, fried hard, and you have to use a separate payment for alcohol, so you are being doubled charged, tax and tip. Had to come and discover this new wing place. Very unassuming from the exterior and the interior. You come in, you place your order and then you take a seat. There's a bar if you want some adult beverages. My order came out and it was pipping hot, normal looking wings (just like what they are supposed to look like) and very generous amount of my okra side. My husbands order was very disappointing. Fries were cold, wings were cold. He said flavors were there, and they would have been outstanding had they been hot. The food is definitely served hot and fresh here. When i arrived they were preparing for a live band event so the crowd was picking up. One of the cashier ls came to the register however i wasn't acknowledged (not sure why) so i had to wait a few more minutes for another cashier to take my order. I've tried this location 3x for takeout before writing this review in order to give them a chance since it is a new establishment. The pros: The decor and atmosphere are very nice, especially if you are going to watch a game. They are also open late which is a nice change for the area as the options are slim. Another pro is that they have been quick to correct any mistakes. Taking accountability is such an important thing. The food is decent. I say decent as it has been inconsistent over the three times I've eaten here. The wing size is on the smaller side which we love. The first visit they were perfect size and smaller than the next two visits. They haven't been huge, but also not as small. The not so good: The first time I ordered, the employee kept rushing me and I had to keep saying that I wasn't done. I tend to place large orders at new places so I can try several things. Wait time was fairly long, but I did order quite a few items. It was also pretty busy with no tables open and a generous line. I did not check my order and one of my wing flavors was wrong so I ended up driving back to the store after calling to inform them of the error. They took the wrong wings back, apologized, then remade the correct flavor. I was also given a free cookie for the inconvenience. The second visit was the best experience for the food as it was really good, but this time I did not receive an item and again had to go back to the restaurant for it. I also was not happy with the size of the item (potato salad) once I received it, for the price. The order did not take as long which was nice, but the employee was visibly annoyed when I asked if they remembered (which they hadn't) my military discount. My last visit was this past Friday. The young girl that works the register has consistently not been pleasant nor welcoming. This last visit my food sat for 30min while she was on her phone and laughing with another employee. The employee that had brought it out noticed that I was still waiting and then made a statement about it being done. I asked if it was cold and she asked for me to to check which I asked for the shrimp, whiting, okra, and fries to be remade. Upon getting home the food was darker as if it was recooked and it was too salty to enjoy. I ended up not eating the fish or okra because of that. Overall I've not had the best experiences. I did not want to write a review until I gave them a fair try, which I have. Was told there were drink specials by one waitress who served the drinks then when shift changed was told that it was incorrect...definitely wouldn't have ordered what was not on special. When we told who I'm assuming was the manager she seemed to have an issue with what we were told which wasn't our fault.
