I've seen this truck here for a few months and never had time to stop. Tonight I did. I ordered 10 wings with award-winning sauce. They were ready in 5 minutes fresh and crispy. Of course, I ate one too hot to handle while driving but it was worth it. The wings were big, crispy and juicy. I can also see why they won an award with the sweet and spicy sauce. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star review was I don't like my wings breaded. They are great fresh but get soggy by the time you get them home and unless I wanted to eat in the parking lot, I was taking them home. I will be back! read more

B & B Quick Stop on Old Mtn Rd & 1-40; 1st and 3rd Thursdays Problem with Food Trucks, without a website that is maintained and accurate, it's sometimes hit or miss finding them. Tried Wingz on Wheelz a long time ago at an event at the Music Factory in Charlotte and they were pretty good. They showed up at one time in Hickory and most recently in the Statesville listings. Checking the website was a note that starting earlier this year, they were going to be at B&B Quick Stop on Old Mountain Road on the West Side of Statesville on the first and third Thursday of each month. This is located just off I-40 on the south side of the Interstate at the BP Station. Couple guys ahead on me so it gave a change to review the menu board which was good. Ended up ordering the Six Wing Combo with Parmesan Garlic Sauce and for my side, pasta salad along with 1/2 and 1/2 Sweet Tea. Sweet Tea came out immediately and it was good. When my order was ready, they offered refills but service was so fast, my cup was still almost full. Order came and back into the car and 10 minutes back to my office to enjoy my lunch. The wings were a bit dry on the outside but the inside was nice and moist. In the bottom of the Styrofoam clam shell, a pool of greasy had formed but at the same time, there was no greasy taste to the wings. The pasta salad was excellent and a definate item to reorder next time. Next time I am going to order on of the spicier sauces to put a little heat into things. Passing thorough it's worth the stop but remember this is a food truck so no seating is available. read more

Wingz on Wheelz was one of the providers at the recent Charlotte Food Fight 2016, offering a special deal of two wings with their hand cut chips. This was a special deal for the food fight, so I imagine that they don't usually offer this. Big basket with two wings and a huge pile of the fried chips were very good. The "Medium" spicy wings were very tasty and flavorful, lots of spice but not lots of heat. Yum. The chips were very good as well, great dipped in the leftover blue cheese dressing. They didn't win the event, but they sure as heck made a great run at it. Good stuff! read more

Love this place Victor and his crew are so friendly and courteous. They have great prices for their food that is also amazing. All made fresh to order, so yes sometimes it takes more than 5 mins. I had very good expectations for this places since I saw it on the side of the road everyday. I got there and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the special of the day 12 wings for $10.00. I ordered the buffalo sauce. I live 5 minutes from where the Truck is parked, so I was surprised when I opened the box of food and the wings were cold. The food taste ok not bad but not great. (That's the only thing I ate all day) 2 hours after I ate I made at least 6 trips to the bathroom consecutively. My stomach felt horrible. I kept on going through the afternoon and evening. Maybe the food was left out too long or the warmer they use is not keeping food hot enough, all I know is that I got very sick after eating those wings. I have been here a hand full of times and have always enjoyed the food but unfortunately today I had a horrible experience. I placed an online order for 12 wings and arrived when the website told me to. I was then informed that my order was not ready and I would have to wait another 30 minutes. Mind you I had already waited an hour before arriving. They said they had tried to take down the online ordering but my issue is that it seemed they were not making the orders in the order they got them. In total I waited a hour and a half for my food with no apology. There is no reason it should take that long for 12 wings. read more

I'm writing this as I eat lol In the picture is their "Award winning" wings & chips with Cajun seasoning. Very flavorful, the wings are big. The chips are fried and seasoned to perfection. Food was ready in like 5 mins! The ladies were super nice. If you drive by you should definitely stop by and try something on their menu! read more
