Service was friendly and fast. I wanted to try this food truck because they came all the way from Charlotte. I have the BBQ chicken quesadilla. The homemade sauce was really good. My quesadilla was not cooked long enough and the cheese was only half melted. It was supposed to have red onions and pineapple but I could not taste them. It came with chips and salsa which is nice since most places do not come with a side. The salsa was not homemade and was not very good. This is my second time eating with Two chicks and a truck for the Rock Hill Food Truck Friday. Both times were great. The wait time was quick and the service was friendly and inviting. The first time I had the chicken Philly, which is so good and has special jam that is paired perfectly with the sandwich. Found this truck at food truck Friday in Matthews. They must be doing well since there were three chicks in the truck working to keep up with the demand. I ordered the bourbon chicken quesadilla, which had pulled chicken, pineapple, red onion, and ooey gooey cheddar cheese. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of filling - I hate it when the edge pieces are nothing but tortilla and cheese. I wish the quesadilla was bigger though, since it wasn't nearly as filling as the ones you get at restaurants (for a cheaper price). This food truck came to my job Friday and I was so disappointed. I've had the spinach and artichoke quesadilla before and it was good but something was off yesterday. When I bit into the quesadilla oil came running out and only I could taste was the spinach. The quesadilla was basically only spinach and cheese. This was our first food truck Friday and we were excited to say the least, unfortunately the lines were at least 50 people deep at most of the trucks so we decided to go to the shortest line hoping it wasn't because the food was horrible. We got the Korean BBQ tacos and the shrimp quesadila. I think it was supposed to be jerk shrimp but can't recall. Anywho, the tacos were dry, not warm and pretty tasteless. The quesadila was good but no jerk flavor to be found. The highlight was the mango salsa, fresh and delicious. I scheduled this food truck twice to service our employees. First time the needed to reschedule and called and let me know. Second time they were a no show. Keep in mind the employees here didn't bring a lunch and had to spend their 30 minuet lunch going to pickup lunch since the truck no showed. I do not recommend using them at all. They also do not have basic knowledge of email and how to correspond with people. Saying I sent an email doesn't mean the issue is over if there was absolutely no correspondence back. They obviously don't like to work on Mondays. I don't recommend. Food isn't that great either. read more

I was so excited to try out the food at Two Chicks and a Truck. It was my first time at Food Truck Friday and they were my first choice to try. I ordered a philly cheese steak which looked great being delivered out to others while I ordered. They warned of a 30 minute wait but we didn't mind at all to wait since we had heard such great things about this place. After 40 minutes I inquired about our order- and they said it would be 5 more minutes. After approximately 10 minutes I Checked back and it was finally ready. To my disappointment it was on Texas toast and the fries were cold and greasy. They apparently ran out of the regular hoagie rolls so subbed the bread. They were unapologetic and had the attitude that I should be happy that I got anything to eat.... Which was probably true because after another 5 minutes my friends inquired about their philly cheese steaks and they said they would need to pick a sub meat because they were out of beef. My friends chose chicken and they said it would take 10 min to prepare. After those 10 minutes, my friends went up to get their food and they had completely forgot about their sub meat "philly cheese steak" order at that time. At this point, they did refund my friends' money but we were over an hour in and still hungry. Luckily there are plenty of other great places to eat in the area. Perhaps the crowd last night was just overwhelming for this group, but it was a poor first impression. Follow up: the owner was very apologetic about this issue. I hired Two Chicks and a Truck for my husband's birthday party. They were super easy to deal with leading up to the event and helped me create a menu for my guests that met my needs and expectations. They communicated well with me prior to the event and even the day. Very professional. The food was outstanding and everyone raved about the food, and the staff worked so hard during the event to make sure my guests were well fed and food came out fast. I would definitely hire them again, and I heard several of my guests state they wanted to hire them as well. All the food was delicious but my favorite was the Twisted Cuban....then again I'm from Miami and finding a good Cuban sandwich here in Charlotte is hard to find and it was delicious. read more

I joined some friends for Food Truck Friday in Matthews last night and gave Two Chicks a try. We got the Sampler Plate which included an Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrap, a Korean BBQ Taco, and a Spinach Artichoke Quesadilla. Each item was insanely tasty! I don't think I could even choose a favorite of the three. The peanut sauce on the chicken wrap was surprisingly good and something I'm now determined to try to copy at home. It tasted very Thai to me, nice spice and a hint of ginger. I was also surprised by how yummy the quesadilla was. It was thicker than your average quesadilla, full of spinach and artichoke, obviously, and LOTS of fresh mozzarella, all toasted to just the right amount of crispiness. The Korean BBQ Taco was another winner. The meat (I think brisket maybe?) had a wonderful flavor and tasted like it had been cooked low and slow all day. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender. So good! Overall, this sampler was perfect and a really great variety of unique flavor profiles. I would recommend any of these items, together as the platter, or on their own.
