I recently used a couple of gift certificates I had received and decided to visit TT Nails before…read moreleaving for vacation. I had not been back since Tammy, the original owner, left many years ago. As a walk-in customer, I was seated for my pedicure almost immediately, which I appreciated. The wait was very short. The pedicure itself was good, but I was not offered any upgrades or asked whether I wanted regular or gel polish. I selected a color from the wall as instructed and assumed it would be gel, but that was never confirmed. The technician was very quiet throughout the service and did not engage in conversation. I also found some parts of the pedicure uncomfortable. The towels used during the service were much too hot, and the paraffin wax treatment was also uncomfortably hot. After my pedicure, I moved directly to my manicure. Unfortunately, I would not consider it a full manicure. In my experience, a manicure typically includes some hand or arm massage, lotion, cuticle oil, or other finishing touches, but none of those services were provided or offered other than cuticle oil. I was asked what shape I wanted my nails, and I pointed to my pinky nail as an example of a square shape with rounded edges. However, very little filing was done, and my nails remained essentially the same shape they were when I arrived. During the manicure, the technician brought over gel polish for my fingernails, which is when I realized my toes had been painted with regular polish rather than gel. When I mentioned it, the staff did offer to repaint my toes with gel, but by that time I was already seated and starting my manicure. Since my toes would wear off sooner than my fingernails, I chose to switch my fingernails to regular polish so they would wear at the same rate. Again, I was not offered any upgrades during the manicure. The only question I was asked was whether I wanted the color on just the tips or on the entire nail. Another concern was that halfway through my manicure, the technician received a video phone call and remained on the call for the rest of my service. Once she finished my nails, she simply said thank you and turned back to her conversation. When my services were complete, I was left to remove my own toe separators and foam foot covers. I carried them with me to the front to pay, and at no point did anyone offer to take them or dispose of them. I ended up throwing them away myself in the trash can by the front door. While this may seem minor, it contributed to the overall feeling that customer service and attention to detail were lacking. I was also confused by the pricing at checkout. The employee told me my total was $75 because that was the amount of one of my gift certificates. However, the manicure was listed at $25 and the pedicure at $35, which totals $60. Since I was not offered or provided any upgrades, I was unsure where the additional charges came from. It would have been helpful to receive a clear explanation of the pricing and services included. I was not directed to a drying table after my manicure, so I went to the front desk to pay while my nails were still wet. As I approached the counter, another customer walked in and was greeted and assisted before I was helped, even though I had arrived at the desk first. While trying to get into my purse and pay with wet nails, I accidentally chipped one of them. To be fair, the girl at the front desk was polite and did attempt to correct the issues. She offered to have the chipped nail fixed, offered the drying table once she noticed my struggle, and had earlier offered to repaint my toes with gel when I brought up the mix-up in polish. By that point, however, I was ready to leave and declined the offers. Overall, my experience was not terrible, but it was also not memorable in a positive way. The staff did make efforts to correct some issues when they were brought to their attention, and I appreciate that. However, the lack of communication, attention to detail, customer service, and clarity regarding services and pricing did not leave me feeling eager to return.

Also, she didn't leave the room to let me remove my panties and get on the table which isn't a huge deal breaker but watching someone undress (or texting while they do it) is uncomfortable. Her pricing was great, which is why I gave her a try, but in this case you will definitely get what you pay for.. I've been getting waxed for years and for the first time ever, I cried after an appointment because of the amount of pain I felt. It's been a few months since my appointment and I just want to protect others from having an experience like I had.

I've been seeing Jodi for a few years now and adore her and am beyond happy with her outstanding wax services. I'm not always the best customer (I am known to be late on occasion, sorry) but she doesn't give me shit for it which I appreciate. I've been getting Brazilians since 2008, and in all my wax experiences, she's the best and most professional! I always get a Brazilian, in n out n 15min which is outstanding bc we both are busy people. As with a Brazilian, shes no stranger to private parts and always makes me feel completely comfortable with my legs in the air. Sometimes I get my brows waxed and tinted! All services are quality and affordable. I implore you to make Jodi your esthetician.

HELLO!??? i said i need my refund i have nothing on my nails and they were terrible. he looked at me and says "you said there were fine that you were okay when you left" i think he forgot that i had came back that same day and showed him exactly what i asked for and he told me come back? and i told him no i came that morning at 9 when he told me and yall didn't take me?? so no i wanted my refund since i got them removed and he seemed to be irritated with my and upset because im asking for MY MONEY back after they did a shit job? yeah okay. anyways don't come here nails salons nowadays don't give a crap about people's inspirations or what they ask for. barely have the supplies too. you get what you get and they want you to accept it and pay over 100's of dollars for bare minimum. i go to a personal nail tech who does 10000% BETTER and charges me less than 75 for what i asked for at the nail salons. they are a joke. don't. come. here. !!!!
