I've been going to Wax That Bod for a couple of years. Always found their staff very pleasant, professional and courteous. The owner Jenny has done an excellent job at hiring great staff . While waxing especially for men can be a bit intimidating, however their staff make you feel comfortable and special. Recently I've used Marisol for waxing. She is friendly and easy to talk with. I went on yelp and was looking around as prices out here are a little more expensive. I was down to two but decided to come here. I booked my apt online for 12/17 for a brazilian and under arms, fairly easily. My techs name was Cheri. As soon as I arrived I noticed the place to be very cute and clean. When I walked in Cheri greated me and walked me to her work room. She made me feel super relaxed the entire process and was less painful as they use a special hard wax. I loved this place until today. I had seen a different esthetician multiple times and had no issues whatsoever. I took a chance with their newest esthetician because everyone else I have received waxing services from was excellent. I arrived 10 minutes early at 10:50 am for an appointment from 11 - 11:45 am and had three services arranged, which have usually taken 45 minutes or less in the past. I had a massage scheduled at 12:15 somewhere else and felt this was a reasonable time between appointments to arrive punctually to both. The new esthetician was very kind and a freshly graduated student still learning; I understood this and was upset with her in no way. However, she was running a little behind already, and when she called me in, I asked if she needed a quick break to get a drink or use the restroom, and she declined. During my appointment, the new esthetician shared that she was still learning to do Brazilians which was apparent by the spots of hair still in my nether region, so I politely asked her to get those as they were long enough to be removed. When I got my eyebrows done, she handed me a mirror. My left eyebrow was smaller than my right, and I still had many stray hairs. I was already running late for my other appointment, which, if late too, I would still be charged and receive less time getting my massage. So I decided to pay and leave without recieving all three services I had booked. Even with being unsatisfied, I still left a tip. She asked if I wanted to rebook, and I said I did not and wished her well. I then booked another appointment with a different esthetician I had seen before and knew I would be able to do all of the services in the allotted amount of time and would do it correctly the first time for the next month. When I got out of my massage, I had an email from the owner saying that my conduct was inappropriate and that I was no longer allowed to come to their business. I called, emailed, and texted, and I am still waiting to hear back from them. As a customer, I would have appreciated them reaching out to get the full context before being emailed and not being allowed to return or at least receive a call back within the same business day to resolve the issue considering the email was sent 30 minutes after I left their establishment. Unfortunately, I disagree with the owner and do not think my conduct was innappropriate given the context and there was a miscommunication that could have been worked out. I loved this place and reccomended to so many people. This business owner needs to not jump to conclusions and treat their customers more kindly and with more respect. I wish this company the best and hope they treat situations like this with more finesse in the future. read more

I just moved here recently and this was my first experience in the springs having a wax like I regularly do. I have been having a horrible time here in Colorado so far since moving here and by chance, my appointment with Jenny was the morning of my inevitable breakdown.
