My review is on the Bath bar. I know for the longest time I had wanted to check out the shop, but for some reason couldn't find it. I reached out via message and the owner (I'm guessing) was super responsive and welcoming. Giving it another go on a lunch break, I found it so easy the second attempt. Upon walking it, it's absolutely beautiful every few week there are a variety of items from skincare, to accessories but really quality boutique like products. I think this shop will be great for gifts for others, as well as holiday shopping for those one of a kind gifts. They had great sales going on, and it looks like towards the back all items are on clearance. The associate was nice and kept checking if I needed any help. Luckily, I was on a lunch break or I could have been in there a few hours! But I will definitely love to come back! read more

Wink Lash is a great lash studio with super friendly lash artists. Every time I go in for a fill or any service, I am greeted with smiles and great conversation. Their new location is absolutely gorgeous and it definitely feels like you are getting an high quality service. The products they have in their bath bar are super cute and would be perfect for house warming, birthday, or holiday gifts. And a lot of the things are super fun to just buy for yourself! Angela is my lash artist and she does volume lashes for me. She always knows what looks best and she ensures that my natural lashes are healthy enough for the extensions that she will be using on me. Angela has also been super helpful in educating me about lash extensions and about natural lash health in general, which I really appreciate. All of these lash artists really know what they are talking about! You will definitely not be disappointed if you go to wink! read more

I liked Jess. But about 2 months after starting to see her there she left. Overall, the experience is beautiful, the owner clearly curated a lovely environment (altho the lights above the lash stations are brutal once you open your eyes after the service). But I've found that she put so much energy into pretty places and doesn't spend that same on the actual, real, customer experience. So I was booked with a new stylist and their automated system sent me a reminder with the right time but on the wrong day. I wouldn't have booked for that day so I knew it wasn't on me that I had just gotten it wrong. But 2 days before the date I had scheduled, I called to have them clarify whether I did in fact have the appt on the day I had booked or the day prior as the automated text said. No one called me back. So then the day I have noted in my calendar arrives and I call in the morning and they say yes I do have it today. But now I need to reschedule because its minutes from then and I assumed they had it booked on the wrong (the previous) day. Well they insist I still need to pay 50% of the appointment fee for canceling the day of. I insist that I called 2 days prior and left a voicemail asking for clarification but no one got back to me and so it was actually now in their court to have finalized with me, not the other way around. But they weren't interested in a customer-centric approach and continued to insist I pay a penalty fee. I liked the location mostly because of its proximity to me but with Jess having left, I don't see myself returning. I originally posted a 1-star review because of the really crappy way I was left feeling after the phone call from their stylist insisting I had to pay a penalty fee. In retrospect, they aren't a 1-star location and Jess gave me the best-looking lashes I've ever had (most natural I've ever experienced). She's left and so I'm not returning here due to the bad customer service experience from the follow-on stylist (apparently under the direction of the owner). I suspect other stylists there are great like Jess and if you can avoid finding yourself at fault for something that's no fault of your own, then you'll probably not encounter the bad customer service I did.... Zappos is famous for its Delivering Happiness mantra that has become the expected standard in customer service, rightly so because it gets people to feel appreciated which leads to loyalty. That would have worked here as well. Had they accepted that I called 2 days prior to my appointment and asked for clarification, and offered to waive any penalty and let me rebook because of it, I'd be a happy customer versus a frustrated one (who ultimately is no longer a customer). read more

Miranda is very patient with any questions you have and explains how to care for your eyelash extensions, which is so nice. I have been going to her for a year. I absolutely love my lashes. Alicia has been doing my lashes for almost a year and I am just as in love with her work now as I was in the very beginning! I was previously getting my lashes done at another place and found that my own lashes were becoming brittle and weak. Turns out that I was because of the lashes, glue, and technique that my previous girl was using. Alicia was very considerate of my sad lashes and nursed them back to health. I've been coming to Wink for about a year now. I love the atmosphere at WInk. From the bath bar to the lash bed, it's the most fun and relaxing experience. I feel like it's a safe place to get my lashes done. Techs are very knowledgeable. I love that I feel educated on how to take care of my lashes and that I'm able to find products in the bath bar to help with that. Miranda is the best! She's great at creating fluffy textured volume lashes. They always look amazing! She's so nice and very personable. She's super gentle when working also. One other thing I really love about Wink is if Miranda is not available, I can trust their other techs to do a great job as well. Jen is the best, it's as simple as that! She is a true artist and made my lashes look impeccable for my wedding day. She talked through the look I was going for prior and then executed it perfectly. I felt so elegant and they photographed beautifully! I just wish I lived closer to Reno as I would go to Wink regularly. I had my lash extension done in NYC 2 weeks prior and was dissatisfied. The lashes on my left Eye were gone after 10 days. I was getting married in a week and needed to fix them. Jennifer was referred to me by a colleague. We spoke over the phone and she was very sweet and professional. I booked my appointment and was excited to meet her. I arrived to a very chic and comfortably furnish shop. Everything was spotless, and pristine. Jennifer was warm and welcoming, she looked at my lashes and knew instantly what needed to happened.
