I was a first time client this past weekend and have to say it'll be my last time. I definitely should have done my research before going here. First thing I didn't like was the lack of professionalism of Wink Lash Lounge. The area where my stylist worked looked dirty and I didn't see any one washing their hands..should gloves be worn? I've never had extensions before so I don't know. My stylist was rushed and explained to me that they have back to back clients and little to no breaks. So she spent almost no time explaining the process to me or talking to me about the "vision" I had for my eye lashes. I did quickly explain to her that I wanted them to look very natural, but it increased volume from the lashes I already had. Anyways I should have took that has my first sign to leave, but the reviews I read so far have been pretty good so I thought I would give it a chance. During the 2 hours I spent with the stylist, I listened to the other stylists talk at each other from across the room complaining about their jobs, how tired they were, how badly they wanted to leave, etc. right in front of their clients!! I thought, "sorry for inconveniencing you with my business.." My stylist also took multiple breaks without explaining why she is stopping (I'm not allowed to open my eyes)...to text on her phone and show the stylist next to her a video of something on her phone.....I should have said something, but I felt so awkward and didn't want to make any one angry who was poking around my eyes. So the whole appointment was SO uncomfortable. I couldn't understand why my eyes were burning so bad. Come to find out, after doing research when I was home, she did the procedure with my contact lenses in. No one ever told me not to wear contacts, but it says on multiple websites not to wear them. I'm confused as to why no prep advice is given to new clients who've never had extensions before? (I even asked what I should do before and they just said to not wear make up on my eyes, but nothing about contacts). So my eyes are bloodshot red and stinging even over 24 hours later..so much so that I will be finding another company to remove my new lashes. read more

Alex does my lashes and she is a perfectionist when it comes to doing lashes. If I'm ever not satisfied which is rare she goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy and satisfied before I leave. I'm very pleased with my volume lashes done by Alexis! They're full and fluffy and i can barely feel them on my lash line. I got them done a few days ago and i have seen zero shed as of yet. They provide blankets and beds to lay on so it's a very relaxing service and Alexis was very gentle and got my full set done in a little under 2 hours. I would recommend this place! read more

Do not go here!!! There are much better lash artists for far less of a price in the area. Not only do my lashes look like shit and have almost completely fallen out after one week, but they looked nothing like my reference photo. They're way too long in the corners and don't flatter my eye shape at all. I've never written a negative review for a business before but this place changed my mind. If you care about not catching a disease, avoid this place. No one wears masks and I was even told to remove mine so the glue would stick (it didn't) Onto the owner, she wasn't rude, but gave off Karen energy. Renting out chairs, no receptionist, making the techs pay for lashes, and having the techs handle payments with no card reader, it was obvious that she was trying to make as much money as possible was fine with cutting things out to save herself costs. You could tell that some of these very nice lash techs were being taken advantage of by her, and was making their job harder for the sake of more money in her pocket. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that my tech used hand sanitizer multiple times instead of washing her hands, which I can't help but feel made my lashes not last as long, not to mention it's less sanitary than normal hand washing. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience because I payed a solid 200+ with tip (with a $50 deposit, which I felt was steep). Very sad bc I was excited to have beautiful lashes for the end of summer but I ended up with a janky mess. I went to this location when I was in town for business for a few months because it had good google reviews. I should have read closer. I got lash extensions with Deb. After returning home I returned to my usual salon. My lash artist was shocked to find massive clumps of lashes tugging at my eyelids causing severe damage to my natural lashes. What lashes I did have left are broken and twisted. She spent quite a bit of time removing and salvaging the lashes that she could and then decided that it's in my best interest for my lashes to take some time off of extensions to grow back. Now I have to go get a new full set next month. This company does not take the time to make sure their lash techs are trained to protect the health of natural lashes and clearly aren't doing anything to fix this after reading the many many bad reviews before mine. The chairs are terribly uncomfortable and I was left waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time at one time. This Tech would brush my lashes so vigorously that after my appointments my eyes would sting for hours and my eyelids were raw. The lashes looked decent and the ladies seemed kind for the most part and maybe their brow services are good but for the love of God and your natural lashes DO NOT GET LASH EXTENSIONS HERE!!!! read more

Maskless Receptionist made it clear masks are optional and by choice in the salon. She then spent the whole time complaining about masks, blasting Fox News and saying Covid is a hoax. The rest of the staff and owner didn't bat a eyelash. This makes me question their commitment for cleanliness with Covid and understanding basic science as well as following State laws. I had several services and I was disappointed by the skill and quality. That's ok, sometimes it's not a fit. I won't return because the ignorance is the dealbreaker. I've been a client of Nichole's for over two years now and getting my lashes done is one of my favorite things to do. Eyes are pretty important and I didn't want to try just anyone at any salon. So before I initially went in I did a lot of research to ensure that I was getting the most experienced, safest, cleanest, and enjoyable experience available. Wink Lash Lounge has not disappointed! Nichole is meticulous with her work and very sweet. While I haven't had my lashes done by any of the other girls, I know they all do an amazing job as I've had 4 different friends become regulars at Wink. I feel 1,000 times better every month after my lash appointment and get compliments all the time. If it ever came down to it, I'd give up eating out before I gave up my lashes! I visited this location several times and while I wanted to love it because of the convenience I ended up going someplace much farther away. The atmosphere is not professional. The techs yell their conversations over the top of you and across the room. I had told my tech that I was in a hurry due to another appointment (I had allotted an hour for a fill) and she spent time looking at her paycheck on her phone and reading other peoples reviews while I'm laying there with my eyes closed and thinking that I would definitely be late for my next appointment. I just moved to the area and came in for a fill. They told me ahead of time I had to pay extra because they didn't know what the condition of my lashes would be. Unfortunately my lashes were done better by the previous technician where I used to live, making the uncharge rather frustrating. I essentially paid more, for worse lashes, not better ones. I didn't realized how much worse they were until I got home because I felt rushed out of there because the next client was there. Obviously they don't book enough time per client, again, very frustrating given I paid extra for what I thought would have been extra time perfecting the lashes. She dropped a glob of glue in my eye at one point and my eye ball was on fire for hours after. That glob also glued together many lashes. In an effort to unglue them she stabbed me, I yelped in pained asked what was that?! She said the lashes were stuck together. Ok, but I don't think stabbing me is the best way to fix that. That area also burned of the rest of the day and night. In addition, one of the lashes in that area is actually glued to my eyelid and not a lash at all. Lastly two of the lashes in the outer corner point downward, into my eye. She had them combed up when she asked me how they looked, so they looked fine at the time, but a few mintues later they fell. I have combed them back into place over a dozen times, and every time they point right back down again. I called this morning and left a message explaining I would like those lashes fixed and no one has called me back. Which I find extremely unprofessional. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I do not feel they spend enough time with their clients and feel it is unprofessional to not answer your phone, and also not call back all day. read more

I got a classic set put on last week and had to have them removed within 5 days. The stylist used so much glue and way too heavy and long of lashes for my natural lashes to handle. I'm lucky I got them removed so soon or I would have had more damage. My eyes were irritated and in pain the entire time I had the set. It's scary to know that they are training new stylists. They will just slap the same overly fake giant set of lashes on you even if you describe wanting something more natural. read more

I was very happy with my lashes on the first day. The lash lounge is VERY impressive and comfortable with friendly staff that portray the professional appearance that makes you comfortable. Overall I am very pleased, I have a few clumpy areas that I will point out next time, but I had a "junior" stylist. My left eye looks magnificient, my right eye takes a little extra work every morning....overall so happy I did it and I WILL BE BACK! My recommendation is to spend the extra few bucks and go to a senior stylist, it'll be worth it! I went back to have my lashes filled by a senior stylist and I look like a new woman. Even down to the information that was told to me was very different, so my suggestion is that you get what you pay for; but this place is amazing. read more

I walked into this lash salon with high hopes given the great 4 1/2 star review that I've seen on google. Unfortunately i have to admit that never in my life have i been so disgusted with any other salon. To start off, about a month ago i called the salon 4-5 times in the course of a day before someone answered.Finally when the receptionist decided to answer she was abundantly rude and unhelpful if i put it nicely. Let me just say how truly unprofessional and above all trashy this salon is! Most of the workers in there wouldn't survive on the show "are you smarter than a 5th grader?" The next day after my conversation with the incompetent receptionist, I decided to stop in to ask more about eyelash extensions on my way home from work. I recognized the voice of the young blonde girl at the front desk, she was who i had spoken to the day prior to stopping in. The attitude and unfriendliness had not changed from the phone conversation with her from the day before. She wasn't able to answer some questions i had, so she told me to sit and wait on the couch until a lash artist could wait and talk to me. I sat for 15 minutes before someone even gave me the time of day and watched the rude receptionist pay little attention to paying costumers walking in while burring her face deep into the screen of her cell phone. Finally after waiting a lash artist came over to speak to me. Along the line of her explaining eyelash extensions to me i got lost in what she was saying trying to understand the laziness in her pronunciation of words and also by the overwhelming stench of pot that was seeping from her pores. It flipped my stomach upside down. How is the owner of the salon allowing this? I couldn't imagine owning such a cute shop and having such incompetent workers as such. Not to mention this eyelash stylist was dressed like a new york prostitute. This place was completely god awful, trashy and ghetto. I am no rich woman but i do like to pamper myself now and then, and i certainly will not pamper myself and spend money in a place as unprofessional as this place is where i know my money is going towards pot and tattoos.
