No, I am writing this new review because of their prices coming out of the pandemic, particularly for meat. Nothing has come down and quite a few things have gone up and I don't think this has anything to do with market forces. Just pure profit taking. They should be ashamed of some of the prices they have in the meat department. I used to look forward to opening my Publix app every Thursday to see what was on sale and making up my shopping list. When the pandemic hit I switched to the delivery app for curbside pickup. Now the regular app doesn't work no matter how many times I have deleted and reinstalled, which is the only advice they give me. The delivery app reflects somewhat higher prices but what's on sale post-pandemic is not much to get excited about, especially the sales on meat. Unless you live off of hot dogs and bacon or other processed meats you are out of luck for much in the way of fresh meat. As a result I only occasionally nip in here on a Wednesday to get the BOGOs (and my wife's favorite 2 fried chicken legs) before they change, mostly when Haagen Daaz pints are BOGO. Until I see some improvement in pricing I shall continue to see Publix as a competitor for Whole Paycheck and Fresh Market.

Love their yogurt so I had to try their froyo when Publix offered a BOGO. Love this Lemon.

If I could give negative stars that evaporate any positive stars, I would…read more I rushed into the pharmacy today to get insulin for my dog (Layla). I was allowed to cut in line in front of the three people I asked and explained my situation (my fur baby was weak, having seizures, blindness, and couldn't stand and her blood sugar tested 533). My dog (of 8 years) was more than likely dying back at home! This is our first encounter with diabetes in our fur baby. At first it seemed like the person at the counter was going to help but when she came back empty handed I knew something was off. I was told that, "we've already put the insulin away and can't get it out". So basically they've put it away and my bad timing and the rapid approaching hurricane (I was there 15-20 minutes before their early closing) equalled no insulin for my critical canine. I promptly walked away after doubling down and asking if they were sure they couldn't get it for me. They didn't. So I gave them the sarcastic thumbs up and got the hell out of there and went to WalGreens instead. The pharmacist there said he couldn't believe that and said he's sorry that it was super expensive there (Walgreens). I didn't give a damn at that point, my dog needed the meds an hour ago. I paid the larger sum ($160 vs Walmarts $27) and got out of there to administer it back at home. My wife called Walmart to complain and was told the same thing. It was put away and not going to be gotten for anyone, humans included. She had this confirmed with the pharmacist on duty there. So if a person that needed a cheaper vial of insulin had come up there and needed it to get through this storm, they wouldn't get it. These people would rather let another person (or dog) die instead of taking 5 minutes (plenty before the early closing) to get what was needed. Keep in mind nothing online reflected the early closing time. I understand that people who are working right now are nervous and ready to get home but five more minutes to ensure that someone or someone's furbaby makes it through the night is worth it in my eyes. This was not the case here. All I got was a "sorry". Sorry my family member is dying and you can't get ANYONE AT ALL to at least try and get a vial. This is not ok and corporate will be aware asap.

Lunch time and with a grumbling tummy, I stopped at Publix today and got a sub! Whole wheat bread,…read moreturkey, swiss cheese, spinach, tomato, onion, cucumber, just a little mayo, some oil and vinegar. Perfection. No one does subs like Publix! The store is tidy and well stocked. An excellent shopping experience as I have come to expect from Publix. We have them home in Charlotte and they've really helped lift the market. This one is great too! [Review 19886 overall - 1688 in Florida - 859 of 2023.]

Today July 10, 2026, I made the mistake of buying a product from this Publix bakery that had a 'buy…read moreby date' of July 11. I had seen a beautiful sweet bread product on a tray in the center of the bakery that apparently had just been taken out of the oven. It was a cinnamon bread circle with what appeared to be some kind of syrup drizzled over it. I asked if I could get THAT one but was told there were some of that product behind me on a product table and that it had cream cheese on top of it. I thought that was an acceptable improvement over a plain cinnamon bread product. So I turned around and looked for it and found it. Another baker person, a younger lady, walked up to me and suggested that I put it in the oven at 350, maybe 450, and let it sit for about 5 minutes and it would be delicious. So I bought it. After heating it and cutting into it, I realized quickly the bread was beginning to stale... the outer edges JUST DRY.' As much as I love cinnamon bread, this was barely edible...just the center. The rest was no good. So it was a draw between them succeeding to sell a stale product and NOT selling me the product I actually wanted. Laziness? Publix sales goals? Either way, Im swearing off Publix bakery.
