But don't think too many retired people are making large amounts of ribs like we do in Texas. Cashier and bagger were both retired lady's but service was friendly and didn't take too long to check out.

Before purchasing them, I specifically asked the employee working at the seafood counter if the swordfish was fresh, and he assured me that it was. Unfortunately, when we cooked the steaks, the fish smelled terrible. I tried a couple of bites from different parts of my steak, and the fish tasted rank and was not something I felt comfortable eating. This is true whether you are speaking with the owner or the people who work there in the evening. Also, the store is well-stocked with everything you could want when shopping in a convenience store, with all the items displayed in a clean and organized fashion. On my last visit I learned that the Family Food Mart has been open since 2002. It's wonderful to see a thriving small business in Leesburg. I highly recommend stopping in to say hello and to pick up a delicious treat or a lucky lotto ticket when you are passing by on West Dixie Avenue.
