Through out a 10 year span I have purchased over 40+ Marquis dress shirt and I am familiar with the MSRP price and the mark up. It ranges from $27-$30 and that's already with a 60% mark up factored in. The lady was trying to rip me off when she saw I was willing to buy. She was brought out 4 shirts and stated she had more colors in the back. I inquired about the price because the dress shirts had no price sticker/tag on them. She stated $50. I showed her the price from 3 competitors and Amazon and said I was willing to pay $40 ( Tax included ) since i was already there and she said no. I know it's a mom n pop shop and they are trying to make a profit and I support independently owned/ small businesses. I understand maybe a $5-$7 mark up but $20? That's insane. Your making people not want to shop at stores like yours and you wonder why you don't have business. So before you buy at this store check the prices online. I hate to say it.

If you've ever seen high schoolers in Oakland wearing hip-looking prints or clothes with strange logos you've never seen before, this is one of the places you can find them. Since they cater to the local fashion (big people and small people wearing big clothes), most of the sizes are REAL BIG- like XL is a "small" there. I am pretty into the recent trend of putting prints on everything, so this is a great place for me. I just bought a hoodie with skulls all over it to match the rest of my clothes with skulls all over it. Panjsheer Bazaar itself isn't big, but it takes up two retail spaces in the Durant Market mall. They've been in business for around 20 years. The proprietors don't speak great English, but they are pretty friendly. Durant Market is a bit like an indoor flea market, or maybe one of those malls in East Asia- a whole bunch of large retail spaces with almost no walls separating them.
