I arrived just before their doors opened at 7am on a Saturday. While in the ladies wear, I discovered clothing all over the floors, underneath racks. Packages of articles were open and laid scattered all over the floor. Staff were all on their phones and looked very scruffy. There are no longer requirements for Walmart staff to have their hair brushed and looking presentable, while at work. I was left feeling sad and depressed at what this world now accepts as "normal". It's too bad I grew up during times when stores were tidied at the end of the shift or prior to opening and store workers took pride in looking approachable, presentable and focused on their jobs, rather than their cell phones. Unfortunately, I have the comparison to reflect on, when out in department stores. It's a shame that people don't appreciate having their jobs and store managers don't care what their stores look like when their doors open each day.

It was unbelievable; we just got it two hours ago. Order number 1222147986, and tracking 275024308033. I can guarantee there is absolutely no smoke on them. She kept telling us she could not do an exchange. We got extremely angry! After a 15-minute argument under everyone's watch, she finally felt shame and said she could make an exception. With sales like this, nobody will buy from you again. Well done for hiring people like her! Imagine if a female came to exchange the cloth, and the first thing a male salesman did was smell it! How crazy is this?! What other things does she want to smell? This is sexual harassment!

One wander thru and I bet it will be a simple low end department in a department store . The problem among many is that it just blurs into the Bay departments that exist on the edges of floor2 such as expensive furniture, appliances, mattresses and China dept . Some kids clothes , Tupperware and bamboo kitchen things and lots of IKEA like diy assemble yourself shelving, tables , chairs ( certainly no food counter like a vintage Zellers ) This remedy to Bays struggle is just the step to the retail grave . Sounds hard ? But we have seen a lot of retail slide in Canada in the last 10 year Clearly the rush of Today is like the curious going to a new release movie , then it peters out Let's see when peters leave this 2nd floor

I can't believe I haven't written a review on Costco yet, considering I shopped here regularly…read morebefore the pandemic! Costco, not surprisingly, is huge and carry a variety of items. Some of my go-to's include: -Rotisserie chicken -Lasagne -Seaweed snacks -Bananas -Sausages -Tiramisu cakes -Baby spinach -Oh, and notebooks Costco pharmacy is arguably the most affordable pharmacy around. The technicians are very busy but they're nice and will pick up the phone even during the busiest hours. The food court is my favourite, but I think it's closed during the pandemic. If you haven't had one of their iconic $1.50 hot dogs yet, definitely give it a try. Their ice cream cones are amazing too. The parking lot is huge but always busy. Washrooms are clean. Staff are nice. Just a warning that this place gets SUPER busy at times, even during the pandemic. Always expect to be near others and long check-out lines are the norm. Happy shopping!

Firstly, I walk in with my service animal and I am bombarded with 3 woman about my dog, I explain that my dog is a service dog, she does not wear a vest and I do not carry my paperwork for proof of service animal. As described within the Law, workers must never ask to see proof of disability, such as mental health in our case, nor ask for proof of documentation. Furthermore, my grandmother was unable to carry her service animal, per sore shoulder, so her husband was following about 2 minutes behind. Her husband explained that the dog was a service animal and they then began to argue with him. They were extremely rude and unkind during the altercation and all he was trying to do, was get the service dog to my grandma so that her anxiety was able to stay under control. Her husband was then escorted out of the establishment and then was threatened that they would call the police. We we're very lucky that my grandma did not have an anxiety attack.

I was shocked when my less than a year old car failed certification. It only had 20,000 highway km yet it FAILED. The arrogant manager told me the brake pads were shot and that there was a problem with the calipers. It would be $600-800 for repairs. I left and took my car to my regular mechanic for the repairs. My guy laughed, shook his head and told me there was nothing wrong with the pads, but in order to pass Canadian Tire's safety check I still had to replace them. $300 later (my mechanic's fee, half what Canadian Tire quoted) I was back at Canadian Tire to complete the safety check. The same manager, with a condescending tone, told me my mechanic had done the repairs incorrectly, and while the car now passed certification, I would have the same problem occur within a few months. I left with my certification papers vowing never to return. A year later I needed my annual safety check, again for Uber. My car now had 110,000 km. I took it to the dealership instead for the safety check and it passed without any problems. I still had the same brake pads that Canadian Tire told me would fail and they were fine. I think of the poor single mom that unknowingly comes into this place and gets taken by these thieves. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else...anywhere else.
