Naturally, one is skeptical when choosing a shop online without personal knowledge of the business integrity. I was extremely fortunate with choosing Winston Flowers for a family Thanksgiving center piece. The arrangement was exactly what I envisioned and the staff during delivery and confirmation was super too. (*****Consumers- avoid the 1-800 flower XXX-XXXX delivery services- whew- the ratings are awful and one particular company is shameful- no delivery- late delivery- refusal to answer the phone, etc. They simply "torture" ALL customers. Look at the YELP reviews*****). So, thank you Winston Flowers for making the transaction a smooth one and for showcasing flowers that were more beautiful than expected! Winston Flowers has the hands down most elegant arrangements of any florist anywhere. Their customer service is fantastic. Just today I sent flowers to my friend for her birthday and found out last minute that she is out of town. I called the Winston customer service number and Sharon helped me and they are going to go get the flowers they dropped off and send a new bunch next week for no extra fee. I was so surprised and I know no 800 Flowers shops would have done that. Will continue to use them for every occasion. read more

Worst flower presentation ever: long stem roses of different lengths so they looked like crap-- tell me you don't have 4 dozen roses rather than charges $10 a stem for crap. It was arrange yourself as the box presentation which took supposedly and hour to do was just laid in at opposite ends.. horrible. read more

I am so happy to be the first to leave this great place a review. We order from Winston just about every other week here at Becker Salon. We like to reward our long time clients with flowers on their birthday and everyone love their assortments. Very elegant and tasteful combination of colorful flowers, plants and sometimes fruits and veggies that complement any space and are just a breath of fresh air. Very disappointing. Large plant initially looked healthy but within weeks, despite meticulous care began to fade and over time was shrunken with shrivelled yellow leaves. We threw it away after two months. Dhame on Winstons for selling inferior plants. read more

I recently used Winston Flowers to send a very expensive arrangement as a gift and the overall experience and customer service was terrible. When I dialed in to order my arrangement, a woman picked up the phone and simply said "Hello" at this point I had no idea if I called the right place and asked "Is this Winston Flowers?" to which she responded "Yes, Winston Flowers" I said I would like to place a flower order with you for delivery tomorrow. She asked if I had bought from them before, to which I hadn't and then proceeded to place me on a very long hold, again having no idea what she was doing. Another associate picked up who was kind, but seemed very flustered and apologetic at the fact that there was zero staff, but her that knew what she was doing. As this was a really important order, I asked the associate to please have someone call me when the delivery was made to which no one called. The next day I hadn't heard from the recipient or Winston Flowers and called in the afternoon to follow up. The associate could not locate my order via name or phone number or order number and again... had to find someone else to help her locate the order. There was no other sales associate so, someone who introduced themselves as a floral designer picked up and offered assistance letting me know that it was delivered. This was HOURS later. Bottom line, this place is very unorganized, understaffed, the sales associates don't know what their doing and I have no clue what my 200+ dollar arrangement looked like, what was it in or that it had been delivered. This business is excellent! I called less than an hour before closing, and Veronica understood that I wanted a baby basket delivered that day. It was too late she explained for delivery and they were closed the next day, which was Sunday. She told me she could get the order ready and deliver when she closed at 6. She had so little time to get the order ready, and yet, the recipient received it and absolutely loved it!! This is an excellent example of why people should do business with the local businesses. I sent some sympathy flowers to a relative of mine after her mother passed, ordering online from California which is always a bit nerve-wracking. Everything went very well, even though the folks at Winston had to make an adjustment because I'd accidentally chosen an arrangement more suitable to a funeral than a home delivery. I really appreciate how they handled that. And I understand the flowers arrived on time and were beautiful. read more

I usually love Winston, but they did not stand by my most recent large arrangement. I think their artistry is amazing, but was really disappointed in my last interaction. I will use them again, but should I have another unsatisfactory interaction, then I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Inconsistent; low quality; don't deliver what they claim to be selling you! My husband ordered a dozen yellow long-stemmed roses for my birthday. Garden roses (which I dislike) arrived instead; they did not tell my husband this would be the case. The roses were mismatched in color and already turning brown. I have had them for 2 days, and they are all brown and rotting. Really unacceptable for the price they charge. For Mother's Day my husband ordered a bouquet for me and what arrived was not at all what had been described to him. We will no longer use this florist. There are too many other good florists out there. read more
