Much gratitude to Andrés and the team for your steady support over my learning journey, and I'm now…read moreofficially a licensed driver. The overall experience was amazing with no frills. I felt that I not only gained a new essential life skill, but also worked up good confidence in dealing with road. The instructor is very patient, empathetic and pragmatic. He has a wealth of knowledge in teaching people of different walks of life to drive, thanks to the decades of experience as an instructor!! While emphasizing safety first with many practical tips and tricks for the road, he also taught me to feel integrated with the car/flow and relax as I maneuver the car. I was so stiff at the beginning, but with good coaching, now I'm pretty smooth in handling the wheel. He's also personally very attuned to the driving test, which made me feel well-prepared as I conducted the actual road test. The school is also a certified third-party test administrator, btw. Some other positives from my experience 1) Signing up is easy! The scheduler lady is nice to talk to and will make sure everything is in order from lesson scheduling to the testing day arrangement. 2) I was picked up on time and dropped off with ease each session (I'd drive myself home as part of the practice/lesson). 3) I like that they have an online portal for easily booking new classes or simply double checking the planned schedule. 4) ¡Se habla español! So I got to practice a little for fun . But seriously, they are well equipped to serve the diverse community here in central Florida. Thank you again, EZ learning driving school! I'm just really happy that I passed, and I def couldn't have done it without you guys. 10/10 recommend!

Great experience! Although I had no motorcycle riding experience, my first day of class with Nathan…read moreand Cici was challenging. I faced difficulties with the exercises and willingly opted to restart on day one to address my shortcomings in completing specific objectives. On round two of day one, I was more confident handling the motorcycle. It was beneficial to have Nathan and Cici again, as they were familiar with my challenges and provided tailored coaching for improvement. Progressing to day two, I achieved many objectives for what Nathan aptly called the "Talent Show." (Skills Test) I now feel confident and capable of safely operating the motorcycle. A positive aspect is that retaking the class is free. So, putting aside ego and pride and approaching the experience with a smile and a willingness to learn can lead to a fantastic outcome. The key is to focus on building solid foundations to comprehend the hazards of the road and effectively navigate emergencies. This positive learning experience took place in Melbourne, FL. Definitely, going to take the advanced courses or do days one and two to hone my skills more.

I took the course at the north Orlando location with Dave and Ralph. About 10 or so students. All…read moremales except myself and 1 other female. Majority have been riding and just needed their license. Except myself, the other female and 1 guy. The guy with no motorcycle experience did not return on day 2, I don't know why. The other female in the course was there as a repeat for the driving portion and she did not stay to complete the driving test on day 2. If you have no motorcycle experience this class is not for you. It's a lot to learn in 2 days and the class moves quickly. You get a few rotations on each skill and then your on to the next regardless if you know what you are doing or not. I did not feel things were explained clearly. For example my instructor kept telling me to increase my speed to at least 15 mph but the speedometer doesn't work. As a new rider with no experience I don't know what that looks or feels like. When I asked my instructor how will I know if I'm doing at least 15 mph without a speedometer I was told that if he's signaling me to go faster than I'm not at 15. (Remember this because it will come up again in my story). Same thing with shifting gears on the bike. I've never driven a manual vehicle. When I asked my instructor how do I know when I need to shift gears I was told to listen to my bike. Again I'm a new rider with no experience what am I listening for? Dave is unprofessional and has no patience. On the 1st day not even 4 hrs into the class of never riding a bike he yells at me after I do a skill incorrectly and tells me that I should not bother with a motorcycle. He raised his voice at everyone. It was alot to learn on the 1st day. After my 1st day of class I didn't feel like going back, I was anxious about making a mistake because I had an instructor that was yelling the whole time. The overall lack of explanation on key skills needed to pass for example mph and gear shift. And the quick progression of the course. I called the school after my 1st day and I spoke to Susie and I explained to her my frustrations. She was kind and listened to my concerns. She apologized for the lack of explanations and Dave's behavior. I felt more at ease after speaking to her and decided I would attend day 2. Day 2, Dave was patient and talked to me instead of yelling at me. I felt there were small jokes made by Ralph about people taking offense to certain things or getting their feelings hurt or being soft. I tuned them out because I didn't know if he was talking about me but just seemed odd because I could definitely tell they were told about my complaints. By mid day Ralph had said to me and the other female in the class that we would more than likely need to take the course again because we were not meeting the speed requirement for the test. Which I didn't think was appropriate because you already have it in your mind that you are going to fail us. But, whatever I still went through and tried my best. I think the other female in the course was affected by this she ended up dropping her bike twice after and decided to quit. This was her second time taking this course at this location. During the driving test I made it through all the skills not at 100% but I stayed in all the lines and boxes, I had to walk out the u-turn but I didn't stall my bike, I didn't get through all the zig zag cones but I did most. I also was at the speed needed for my quick stop. In the test they measure your speed but during practice they just eyeball it. Funny, because for 2 days I was being told I was going too slow. All the guys in the class were supportive. They all swore I passed, but I was told I failed. I was surprised that I had failed because I felt I did decent for only being on a motorcycle for maybe a total of 8 hrs in 2 days. The instructor had made up his mind mid day that I was going to retake the course regardless if it was for speed or not. The expectation that you will do everything at 100% as a new rider is unrealistic. Save your $ and time. Do not take this class until you are ready for the exam.

*** 500th Review! ***…read more Depending on who you believe from the online universe, the Avatar Course from Star's Edge International is either the most miraculous self-help breakthrough of our time, or an opaque Scientology-inspired pyramid scheme cult. After attending their "ReSurfacing" weekend course at the request - okay, insistence - of a friend who is an Avatar "Master,"* my impression was much closer to the former than the latter. I thought it was a brilliantly designed - and harmless - combination of meditative visualizations, Zen Buddhism, free will philosophy and cognitive behavior therapy, delivered in a supportive group setting with a very low student-faculty ratio. It also required enduring the occasional dose of 1960s hippie talk. The ReSurfacing course teaches by asking students questions: good questions and lots of them, numbering in the hundreds. Questions about students' lives, experiences, opinions, and beliefs. It's incredibly eye- (and mind-) opening. The course materials could have just told me "you can't predict more than 30% of what will make you happy, the beliefs trusted people have instilled in you are often more accurate than the things you've chosen to believe yourself, and you must follow your passions," but it was a heck of a lot more persuasive to have me answer and discuss tons of questions that led to these conclusions. (Dale Carnegie fans: this teaching method is similar to Carnegie's idea of asking the other person questions and getting them to say "yes, yes." ) Though probably half of the Avatar course materials are confidential, the ReSurfacing workbook that we used is not: you can buy it on Amazon for under $15. Somewhat curiously, the "play by play" list of course activities for the weekend was confidential, and I was asked to return it at the end of the course. It was nothing more than a list of what order we did the exercises in and when we interspersed them with videos of Harry Palmer talks and readings from Palmer's other books. Anyway, none of the material struck me as particularly scary (the videos are mostly on YouTube), and it all had the tone of a particularly good talk radio host or preacher. The biggest takeaway was that we largely function through our beliefs and identities, but that we have more control over our thoughts and beliefs - and thus actions - than we might think. It sounds fluffy but when you are made to lay it out in detail about your own life it's very powerful. --- End of basic review. You can probably stop reading here --- Now, if you're interested enough to be reading this far, let me share my research and experience regarding anti-Avatar material on the internet: - Founder Harry Palmer is said to have run a Scientology mission for 15 years. In his book, Living Deliberately, he actually poo-poos Scientology quite a bit. I'd be surprised if Avatar shared Scientology's anti-meds views; organizers told students to continue taking meds (but not street drugs or alcohol) in the course, and asked if students were seeing therapists - so they could get the professional's permission. Having said that, I couldn't help but cringe when Living Deliberately put psychotherapy and Dianetics in the same bucket (page 96 if you're curious). - Palmer also supposedly used to call himself an educational psychologist, and claimed he had studied a different major in college than he actually did. The Avatar materials don't say this anymore after dispute with a disaffected former Avatar trainer. - I've been told that Avatar is run as a multilevel marketing operation, where existing Masters recruit new students and make money when people agree to take the courses, whose material is partly "secret." I wish it were run more like Kaplan, a for-profit business of test prep courses with only copyright protection to help them with their secrets. But none of the Masters I met at the course seemed to be doing this for the money. - The price curve is indeed weird: Part I: ReSurfacing (the only part I took), 2 days, $300. Part II, 4-5 more days, $500. Part III: 2 more days, $1500. - Some of the Avatar bashing might be based on quite simple misunderstanding. One of the anti-Avatar sites: (see all linked pages from here: http://jeta.home.xs4all.nl/avatar/avatar-too-many-spirits.html) argues that Avatar is offering exorcisms of dead spirits called entities. But these "entities" are probably what mainstream best-selling author and psychiatrist Daniel Amen calls "automatic negative thoughts." Amen is not a Scientologist or Avatar. - And yes, Avatar is based in FL but incorporated in DE. Pretty standard for US businesses avoiding taxes. * An Avatar Master is someone who's completed their first two full courses.

The firm's stewardship is to manage and present its core program, Avatar.
