They sell refreshments and snacks while cruising but we didn't partake so I can't speak of the prices. Reservations are a good idea as our cruise and the one prior to ours were both quite full. They only take cash, no credit or debit cards. We take all our friends and relatives that come to the Valley and this was our fifth or sixth trip. They also have a two hour excursion that goes up the river, but this trip was the one hour, down the river to the Anzalduas Dam. Well worth the cost.

Beautiful landscaping in the small pool/tiki bar area but less lush elsewhere in the park. Very big lots compared to the parking lot style RV parks nearby and included picnic tables and patio area in addition to parking for your vehicle and RV. Clubhouse is the only wi-fi zone, and the wi-fi there is just so-so. On-site manager went WAY out of his way to accommodate us - turned on the spa when we were the only users, found us a carport the evening a hail storm was predicted. We paid a third of what we paid at a nearby RV park last year.

Owning a business you would think to make things right with people instead of get on your employees the ones who are working hard to make money for you in addition to blowing the customers off who spent hundreds with your company. If there is a bad day of fishing, you should contact those who have booked a trip with you to see if there is a different time that would prove better. The owner Arnold Lacount did not deliver on what is promised. Our captain Arturo was great at his job. Also captain Arturo donated an hour on his time to extend the trip which was appreciated. We contacted Arnold the owner and he says " I can't believe you are texting me you just don't understand fishing"! VERY disappointed! Money hungry and no regards to customers. There are so many ways Arnold could have made this right as a business owner but didn't, instead choose to fight and use negativity as a form of response instead of being ethical and caring about people first. He could not even call us he sets his hired captain up to do his dirty work. This is disgusting and wrong. Save your hard earned money and pick one of many charter companies that stand behind their business.

McAllen - Miller International Airport (MFE) is a great little Airport. Not too big, not so small…read morethat you cannot get a good meal. The location is excellent, across the street from La Plaza Mall, a hotel, and numerous shops and restaurants. There is also Uber and other similar services available. They have an Explore McAllen Marketplace and Café in the waiting area as well as inside the Terminal. In the Terminal there is also a Café, bar, VIP room, clean restrooms, and free Wi-Fi. There are six gates and two luggage carousels. So, I always smile when flying in and the crew announces, "your checked luggage can be picked up at Carousel Number 2." Just stand in between 1 and 2 , and you'll be positioned perfectly regardless of which Airline. Speaking of airlines, MFE has flights with United, American. Aeromexico, Delta, and limited flights with Allegiant and Volaris. If you arrive from and International location you will go through immigration and customs first downstairs. It has been my experience that the immigration and customs process is more detailed and takes longer here, as they go through every bag. Not a problem if you are behaving. There are also a few car rental desks across from the luggage carousels. Avis, Payless, Hertz, Enterprise, National, Dollar and Thrifty. Budget is a few blocks away, walkable, but not easy in the South Texas heat. They have easy parking for reasonable prices. Short term and long term. Airport Security is also well organized and uses facial recognition. I like this Airport because it's so easy to get in and out. The only times I've seen lines is when multiple airlines have flights departing close to the same time.

I fly through here regularly and have never had a problem. Since this is a smaller airport, lines…read moreare not usually long unless there are two flights headed out around the same time. I can usually check into my flight and get through TSA security easily in 10 to 15 minutes. If you don't have pre-check it may take a little longer. The airport was recently remodeled and expanded and functions really well. As you approach TSA there will be a Border Patrol agent who may ask to see your documentation. If you don't fly often, get familiarized with what is allowed in your carry-ons and prepare accordingly. It's frustrating when others in front of you have not done their homework, have not prepared, or think they don't have to follow the rules, so they hold up the lines for everyone else. Yes, going through security is a little inconvenient, but it's for our safety. The employees here have always treated me with dignity. The pre-check lane is open all the time these last couple of years. While pre-check people are not required to remove their belt, my belt buckle is a little larger than some as the belt is reversible. So I always remove it prior to getting in line. This airport still usually requires pre-check people to remove their computer and electronics from the case. It pays to ask as the rules change. Be respectful, follow the rules and you should have a smooth experience.
