I was a residential customer of Winters Brothers for many years and couldn't have been more happy with the service. When the company was bought out by Waste Management, a conglomerate, this past winter, everything changed. Yes, the pickup was consistent, but the cans were left high up on snow mounds during the winter snows and were dangerous to retrieve. Now, the cover is strewn about so that rain can get into the exposed can. Repeated calls to the main office have been met with sympathetic responses, but Customer Service has made it clear that it has no ability to change things. Notes left for the carters have been met with crickets. It's a shame, because I leave out very little for pickup and sometimes only once weekly. I always gave the previous Winters crew very generous Christmas tips. Just as the quality of the service has deteriorated, so will the recognition when I'm given the opportunity to register my opinion of the Winters' (now WM Corp) desire to serve its customers well. read more

Their driver is the biggest piece of garbage, they should dispose of him. They come into my tiny private community at 6 am beeping large garbage trucks backwards down a tiny street. I've asked several times and the driver told me to basically fuck. Now he threatens me and beeps his horn loudly to piss me off. Little do you know, I'm actually your client at the hotel I manage. Was assured they would come three days later. They left 3/4 of what was left and now raccoons have ravaged it. Ever since they purchased East end sanitation the customer service has been deplorable.
