Winter's Storage storage options in Vinton provided just what we needed to protect our jeep that no one else offered. I have a daughter at Roanoke College and we booked a storage unit here for the summer. Everyone who works at this place was super nice and we thought it was a good find. That is, until my daughter went to unload her storage locker yesterday and all of her things were covered in mice poop. To be absolutely fair to the facility, they had warned me that she must not have any food in the storage place or there could be mice. So she made sure she had no food. But one told me that we needed to have everything in a sealed Rubbermaid container or it would be invaded by mice. No one said mice were a huge problem in any of the containers. IN any case, we ended up throwing out half of what we had stored. I sure would have appreciated some more direction from this place or at least some reimbursement of our costs (which Winter's is not offering). read more
