I highly recommend him . He was kind , asked questions about deceased ,what were his likes /dislikes , what he did in life and what was special about him. He took care of me as my partner did and helped me navigate this difficult part of life. Nickerson arranged hid memorabilia in a beautiful display , and got many compliments on it. Tables were in rooms and not just chairs so people had an intimate setting with beautiful arrangements and treasures for guests to take home I was completely at ease that everything went perfectly Lawrence and his helpers did a terrific job at this extremely difficult time I have nothing but praise for this company Sandra Williams

But they were kind caring just overall nice people and I know it's probably part of their job and part of their business but you know not really some people just are not meant for any job but these people are almost like you were family and they were treating you with such respect it was wonderful. I went back today but not to the funeral home but to go to the services as a church and then later to the cemetery and I just saw how wonderful they have done such a great job.

Although the funeral home eventually agreed to refund and reprint the prayer cards, the overall lack of compassion, communication, and attention to detail made an already difficult time much harder. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Cartwright Funeral Home.

The death of a loved one is a time of deep distress and Arthur was wonderful in the way he worked with me and our family. I also want to note that I live in Austin, TX, so some of the coordination was done on phone/text/email. We had a Hindu religious ceremony and services and Arthur assisted ably with that. (we located the priest). The facilities in the Magni funeral home are updated, dignified, modern, and graceful. Monuments oceans and…read morelichen The Langsford Cemetery is also called Seaside Cemetery and appears on different maps with the different names. It's the same place though. The graveyard was established in 1857 so it isn't one of the really old ones in New England. Most of the graves seem to date from the late 1800s and apparently that's when it had the most use. The cemetery does indeed have some very lovely views of the ocean from the small hills and also has some very old and very spooky looking trees. Many of the monuments are rather modest and are covered by the yellow lichen that seems to cover everything near the ocean up north. Some of the gravestones are worn away but others are still in pretty decent shape. All depends on the location and direction of the wind. A lovely and historic old graveyard that not only gives a sense of Cape Ann history but also has some lovely views of the raging ocean.

I always come in with my flowers to the funeral home and I always make a meal for the family for after the week they are very accommodating about putting it in the refrigerator if it's a cool meal or on the in the kitchen if it's hot meal and making sure the family I was accommodated when it's over. This time they had chocolates in the entryway where people sat and relaxed and talked with other family members etc. like a calling type room they had boxes of chocolates which are apparently the deceased favorite. I thought that was extremely thoughtful thing to do.
