I hope it will in fact allow the business owner, brand or location to improve their practice or service. After careful review and research I landed at Marie's Pampered Beauty Spa. My first instinct was to leave. However, I continued on. Upon arrival Marie and an associate were engaged in small talk. A conversation that I felt could have been saved for later. They continued on. After several minutes she asked how could she help. Since I had just spoken to her on the phone I announced my name and she had been expecting me. I signed a waiver and was led to the room in which I would receive my bikini wax. It looked immediately unsanitary. Wax was everywhere and I soon came to realize why. She instructed me to undress from waist down and lie on the table. I asked her for something to cover myself up with. She said she didn't have anything and kind of chuckled. I guess my expression was a surprised one because she finished it with I'm going to see everything anyway and left the room. Again, I should have left but I just wanted to be waxed so badly, I stayed. She entered the room as I lie there ass out! She dips a stick in God knows what and proceeded to pile the wax on my pubic hairs when I noticed she didn't have the linen strips I asked her what was she going to use she said just the wax and assured me that I could relax. I clearly could not as she begin chipping away at the wax one hair at a time it was torture! Wax was flying everywhere. It was such a painful, agonizing experience. I get waxed all the time! But since I just relocated to the area it has been quite difficult for me to find a wax specialist. I stopped her not even half way through and was like are you almost done no worries about the back I can't take it. I went through another 15 minutes of SHEER terror as she picked the wax off piece by piece it flying everywhere!! Now mind you the whole time I'm hearing her brag about her technique and how she eventually only wants to do waxing but so many of our people don't get it done and her level of training...BULLSHIT! I was being tortured!! DON'T GO HERE!! It's been two months later and I'm still recovering!! Hair bumps that I've never had in my life!! Then the non- sterilized rag that she used to dip it in cold water and use compressions on my crouch because she said my body temperature was rising making it difficult for the wax to harden. WARNING: She is listed on groupon with a woman walking across the beach. It looks so nice and serene but this shop is far from that. Take my word, Don't come here!!!

I love the fact that if your appointment is at 10am, she is NOT going to have you sitting around waiting because she over booked herself! Marie provides a clean, and sterile environment and walks you through the entire process. I was truly impressed by the way she engages with you during the session by holding conversations or playing music in order for your to be relaxed. I will definitely be returning next month and bringing others!!!
