They have glass doors, so you can see the volume of people inside first. The bathroom is uniquely placed at the South West corner of the building and, even better, has a half wall so you can quietly retreat out of view, if necessary. You can either order and pay at the bar right at the entry, or there is an outdoor bar as well. I will note, the outdoor bar is more crowded, louder, it is more difficult to hear and be heard by the bartender. I prefer the indoor bar when it is less crowded. The menu is not extensive, so it's simple to order from. There are food trucks available at multiple spots outside, so it is easy to order and not feel too crowded. I've attended twice and the staff are very kind. At the tables in the immediate outdoor space that is enclosed in winter, the patrons are usually extremely loud because it is a small space. This can be problematic for those with sensory issues around noise. However, when it's good weather and open to the outdoors there are extensive options for seating with a variety of types of chairs. One can easily find a spot a bit further from the crowds for a more relaxed and quieter experience. When the outdoors are open to patrons there is another entrance that is a few feet from the main West entrance to the building. This makes for a great secondary option to leave without passing through the thicker crowds seated nearer the bar. However, often a food truck is placed at that entrance which can feel a bit overwhelming. The only change I would make is that they don't provide ice water and there aren't other options to beer if that's not something you are into or you don't drink very much. I think that would be a great improvement to their business model. I highly recommend this location compared to other bar experiences in the Springfield, Battlefield, Republic area. read more

Such a cool place. Love all the special events they have. Their focus in on having a great time with food trucks and being outdoors with live music. Yet they do have limited seating indoors (Ac/heat) and about the same limited seating under the patio (heaters only) but most is outdoors, like 1.3 acres worth. Outdoors has two music stages and plenty of seating. Dogs are usually welcomed as long as they behave, except at some special events where ADA dogs are only allowed. Beers are plentiful with more than 8 beers on tap. For those that aren't beer lovers they have a couple frozen drink options that are always tasty. Food trucks vary from day to day but the best way to keep up on trucks is follow their FB page. The owners are super nice and down to earth. They are always doing charity events which is awesome. Don't miss Oktoberfest which is super fun with multiple food trucks! I frequent this establishment about once every two weeks, even more when the weather is nice. read more

What a great time we had at this brewery. It was a stop on our road trip to Arizona. Caleb waited on us and he was a pleasure to talk to. He was very knowledgeable as well. Definitely the best "outdoor" area for the brewery scene. In fact I'd say they focused on people enjoying their outdoor bar. There's a lot of seating outside, and a huge area that spans the property. We went here to meet up with people who weee gathering for a 40th rugby team reunion. We got there around 6:30 on a Friday night and it was packed! It was also a lot farther from downtown Springfield than we thought! It's a big place with seating inside and out. Two guys were playing music and singing and I enjoyed their selection of tunes (I knew all the songs). There were two food trucks and they seemed to have difficulty keeping up with the crowd. We sat inside because it was like 100° out, but outside is super cute and would be a perfect place to spend a cool, fall evening. I love that you can bring your dog to hang out outside with you (dogs are not allowed inside). They have local food trucks all day (open for breakfast and coffee most days as well). I've been to this place twice and I'll give you my honest thoughts. The space and the staff are great! They have had a food truck there both times I have been which is a major plus as well. Good size bar and indoor seating and awesome outdoor space as well. It was packed both times I was there but it's still pretty new so I expected that. The beer is decent not great. The American IPA was the best one I had and the Hazy IPA was a close second. Also pretty typical of a new brewery the lager doesn't seem to be a true lager (I couldn't even see through it). Also, the oatmeal stout and Porter (while not bad are way outside the normal ABV range for that style (7.5%). I'm pretty sure both are hotter than the IPA. They do have a nice looking brewing setup made by Mueller in Springfield and a shiny new foeder which is unique. Overall this place is a good one to visit and a great addition to the area. read more
