I hope the company can train workers to be aware that when customers are present, they really need to watch how they speak. I am free with cuss words myself, but never in a customer-service role and this guy was over the top. It was as though he was performing the role of asshole. I felt sorry for his coworker. When I went to give her a deposit she told me the bottom layer would only be 10 inches so I asked her how big ten inches is in a round cake and she got really mad and slammed down her ruler. Brought a round Pan and slammed it down and yelled this is what ten inches looks like. So I said if she is not able to do it I can go somewhere else and she went crazy after that. It is really sad because I have been going there for ten years and even had her make my wedding cake, anniversary parties, and many other occasions. I will not refer anyone to her or ever go back. She needs to learn some people skills.

I took a look around and said, "we have a lolly shop." That's what Australians call candy stores. The store has a cool vibe. It was bustling with customers who had found their happy place. It has a great offering of candy, many a throwback to an earlier era. We purchased truffles and malt balls. The malt balls were chocolate/vanilla, and they were excellent. There were several other flavors available. We also selected the milk chocolate truffles, and they were pure decadence. They paired nicely with Cab Sav. We went to Atoka for Reba's, the next time we go, it will be for the Buffalo Nickel.
