I went to this shop as it was local to my home and just opened. I had an estimate for a 5th wheel front cap wrap and photographs taken by salesman. The graphic artist provided no color standard swatches of their printing ink to get close on the first try and numerous iterations of samples that were not even close to the color trying to match were provided. The company was provided by the customer with a ground truth exact match color swatch from a paint company to match. The graphic artist, with a full knowledge of the limitations of the ink used and the print media, never tried himself to match the ground truth provided. His hands off attitude to any decisions to providing his expert opinion of the ground truth, left the decisions up to the customer. Never was the customer warned to double check the trailer color to the swatch prior to approval. Ultimately this resulted in final product of a green vs brown color tinge that did not match the trailer color. The seams were uneven and the graphic that I provided was cut off making the oval shape lopsided. I could not live with the horrible differences of color, and tore the wrap off and went to another local company to have the wrap done again. Bottom line, it was all my fault as the customer makes all decisions with the company hands off attitude on color decisions, almost guaranteeing a failure of the project. I now have a $1100 ball of useless vinyl decorating my garbage can. This new company I went to, http://vehiclewrapsinc.com/ had standard swatches of ink samples that we were able to match within minutes, and variations provided. This company took full ownership of color matching to provide the customer an expert opinion to make an informed decision, and at a cost that is $350 less than trademark vehicle wraps.
