I felt all the vision checks were extremely thorough and the technology being used was current and state-of-the-art. Dr. Schlaefer and her technician explained everything to me very thoroughly. I received my prescription and no pushy sales pitch to purchase glasses from them. They provided me with a quote for my corrective lenses at my request should I decide to purchase through them. All-in-all, a very good experience.

One time I was in there and asked a staff member for help picking out a pair of frames. She stopped and yelled loudly "we have a hand holder here"! A delusional misinformed staff member told me I could not take photos in a public building and put her hands on me. The Constitution allows me to take photos of anything in public that I can see. His staff has all the latest medical tools for a thorough exam (they even got rid of the "air puff" test for glaucoma, which I hated! Their new tool is much nicer!) Their facilities are always bright and gleaming. It is spotless! You feel as though you are walking into a new building (and it is fairly new), and are treated like royalty! Did I mention the fresh chocolate-chip cookies? If you are looking for an eye doctor and supplier of a huge variety of frames, InSight is the place to go!

They are more interested in upselling than getting your order right. We spent time going over options for frames and lenses and measuring where the bifocal line should be for close up and mid range vision. What I received were non bifocal glasses for distance vision. And btw it will cost hundreds more for the correct lenses. Then what did I actually pay for? And they were not at all apologetic. I was ready to say refund me and walk away except that I would have to start all over somewhere else.

A cavity filled in December had broken, and they were unable to accommodate me for almost a week to be seen. Doyle and Doyle got me in so quickly, and they were nothing but kind, patient, and thorough. They explained everything they did, let me pick what kind of music I wanted to listen to via headphones while they worked, and let me ask as many questions as I needed.
