I pulled in so I could join a conference call and noted there was some tree shade over their parking lot. Not enough but it was better than roasting in the open sun during my call. While here, I took advantage of quality gasoline and topped the tank off. Then my stomach started to growl and I got som BK. The store had some interesting souvenir items for sale as well as basic needs for snacks and hardware. The restroom, the whole store in fact, was very clean. Instead of answering me, she looked at the owners. The owners looked at me and then said that I cannot use it. There I am, a paying customer wanting to EAT in this establishment and was not given the opportunity to use the restroom (including washing my hands during Covid-19). Not only does the refusal of the restroom bother me but also the owner's manner of denying me use. They did not immediately tell the woman I could not use the restroom. instead they (man and woman possibly a couple) moved over to where they could see me. The man read my hat that says, Disabled Veteran and proud of it. He also look ed me up and down then told the woman I could not use the restroom. Would not even tell me himself and I was right there. I feel that other than it being unsanitary and rude to run a restaurant and not allow paying customers to use the restroom, I also feel that I was denied not because they deny everyone but because they had to look me over to decide if I could use it. I am a Caucasian 63 year old man and the owners are as Asian. I don't know if I was denied because I am white or if I am a Veteran but since the lady running the register had to ask, I assume that some people are allowed restroom use if they pass the visual inspection buy the owners. I feel that I was treated rudely and that my civil rights were violated. If they had to see me before answering, they based their answer on how I looked. In my opinion, these people base their customer service on the race of the customers. They will take your money while denying you the most basic of service. This is my opinion only and may not be correct but I think the average customer would feel the same way if treated the same way. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars would be my rating if it were available.

It's not massive like the other place, but it's clean and it has a few hot food spots as well as a Dunkin for my coffee needs. The staff is beyond friendly and I always chat it up with them. My only complaint is that the squeegees outside to clean my windows is there, but they are never in any kind of cleaning solution. It's just sitting there dry. Driving almost 300 miles to get to this spot means the windows needs some serious cleaning. Despite that, this will always be my stop heading back to Houston until I hit my other favorite spot a few hours later!

The bathrooms in this pilot were clean as always, but there aren't as many stalls as they have in other locations. Besides their usual snacks, this location also has a McDonalds and a Subway connected to the main building.
