E.F. covered the walls of his next-door cafe and tourist cabins as well (One of the motor court cabins was supposedly rented by Bonnie and Clyde a couple of weeks before they died). The cafe closed in 1964, the cabins around 1970, the gas station in 1988. They all passed into the hands of Nancy Rosendahl, one of E.F.'s grandchildren. She and her husband Jim, a retired nuclear engineer, told us that "we didn't have the heart to tear it down," and spent the next decade restoring the entire complex to its post-WWII glory days, which they said peaked around 1953. The old gas pumps are still out front but the interior has been remodeled as a personal office. There is parking and the place definitely photographs well. It's interesting and worth a stop to see. I explained that I just needed their filters and wanted to use my oil. I was told they will NOT use any other oil but their oil. so guess what KwiK Kar owner...you lost a customer FOREVER. When asked, they gave me the quotes separately: 4 doors, + back window, + front window, +panoramic roof. As I use a sunshade, I opted for the 4 doors + back window + panoramic roof, but have the option to add the windshield later if needed. I know nothing about car tint. Jason was wonderful, and explained the differences. I ended up going with the Pinnacle. The windows are legally tinted but nice and dark. The ceramic coating officially keeps 93% of the heat and UV rays out of the car, making this a VERY COOL RIDE! The job took 3-4 hours. The wait was less than 2 weeks to get in here. The value was fantastic, and these guys did a great job! PS. I will be back for the windshield soon! I can now tell the difference, and wish I would have done it with the rest of the car!! 5 STARS!!

For my first car, I provided a starter, but they insisted it was the wrong part and charged me over double the price for one of their own, leading to a $978 bill for a starter replacement. When I got the car back, the check engine light remained on, and my A/C, which was working perfectly before I dropped the car off, had stopped functioning. While they had my second car to fix a rattle, they quoted me $1,300 for a brake job and claimed I needed a new battery. When I went to pick up the vehicle, it wouldn't start. When I questioned the owner, Alex, about whether the car had been test-driven and asked to inspect the work before paying, the situation escalated rapidly. Instead of addressing my concerns, he refused to let me use a simple wrench to check the battery and, remarkably, called the police to issue me a criminal trespass warning. I was forced to pay the $1,330 bill just to be allowed to swap out my battery, only to find out from the auto parts store that my original battery was perfectly fine--it just needed a charge. To top it off, I was then threatened with having my car towed if I didn't remove it immediately, despite having no transportation. This shop lacks basic accountability and customer service. I spent roughly $2,400 in total and left with more issues than I started with. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for automotive repairs. So there is a warrenty for the repairs 1 year for the labor and two years on the parts . Both of the cars still had the check engine light on after the repairs and I had no way of asking . I was told I needed a battery that only needed a charge, was not helped unless I paid first. So I have two cars that still need repairs and have no recourse if the repairs done don't last. This just seems strange to me. To be given a No Trespass and no response to why the A/C not working in the Accura ad no way to bring either of the cars back for any warranty work? That is why I am posting NOW because I want others to be aware of what might happen to them when looking for a repair shop.
