I know we are…read moreall human and have our bad days but when you own a business, you should know how important customer service is. I just left this place not long ago. I walked in around 4:45pm and I was instantly greeted by a young man, whom I have no complaints about. He was very kind and answered my questions to the best of his ability. When he didn't know the answers he sought out who I assume to be the owner. An older man, short and stubby, wears glasses. Cuban accent, they both spoke Spanish. I don't think they knew English. I proceeded to tell them both that I was looking for quotes on musical equipment for my local church. I jotted down some prices they gave me as I went for things like mic stands, cables, guitar stands etc, but a few minutes in the older man got impatient and asked me if I was buying it all today. I repeated myself and said I was there for quotes and I'd be visiting several places to get the best deal. This is when his attitude completely shifted. I asked about what kinds of wireless microphones he had. He told me that I didn't know what I was saying and didn't know what I wanted. That he has many prices and varying kinds and that he won't waste his time showing me anything unless I'm buying it. He proceeded to tell me that if I wanted prices to go somewhere else and then come back to the store. I must say I am a very patient and understanding person and I tried to kindly and respectfully explain to him again that I had to get quotes first before I committed to buying anything. He did not quit barking at me and was not interested in anything else I had to say. I told him that it was alright and I as I left told him respectfully even, that I hope he didn't treat all his customers this way. I walked out at 4:58pm. I was not even there 15 minutes. I wish I could've had a positive experience as I read everyone else's reviews. Also I must say the place is a bit disorganized. Instruments and equipment are all piled onto each other and you're not able to see all the products they have for sale because there's no way around the store. This went on much longer than it should've but I wanted to be honest and not miss anything from this awful experience. I won't say 'don't go there' but I think you'd be better off going to Samash or Guitar Center.

The best part of the recital was the organization. The staff went to great lengths (and spent a lot of their own time) to organize the entire weekend into 1 hour segments. The participants signed up or were assigned to specific blocks of time. We arrived at 11:15am and were leaving at 12:30pm. No sitting through 3 hours of routines to see my daughter's 60 second performance. I LOVED it and my daughter really enjoyed the experience. Classes here are a full hour and from what I have seen, the instructors are top-notch!

They kept my $200 deposit, after telling me the cello was in perfect condition when I returned it. I asked for that in writing and the employee said he couldn't do that, but that he'd vouch for us when the owner got there. Four hours later I got a text with the image of a small corner of a cello with a small wood chip saying it was damaged and they'd keep my deposit to repair it, all $200. No other explanation, no proof that it was my instrument, no reply to my text. Just "hey we are keeping your money." They were liars and thieves from the very beginning. I was told all the strings were brand new. One month in, a string breaks while my child is playing. I take it back and they say I have to pay more than $100 to fix it, reiterating they are all new strings and blaming my child for breaking it. A few weeks later, her private teacher is playing the cello and another string snaps. She tells me all the strings are old and worn. She repairs it herself because she too had a bad experience with them and refuses to send anyone there. She also said that replacing a string should be about $20, not more than $100. That is beyond the point since they rented us a cello with worn strings and should have replaced them no charge. A short time after that, her school teacher, the very person who recommended them, said they gave her a terrible bow, completely frayed. He told us to take it back and tell them that he said so, otherwise they'd blame it on my daughter and charge us for that, too. We did what he suggested and they did not charge us but replaced it with another terrible bow that also frayed. I will never set foot there again; I will also file a complaint with the BBB. If you want an ethical, professional company I strongly recommend you look elsewhere, but not these fraudsters in Miami.
