Rather than vintage furniture (of which they have a little in the store), I definitely think of it as a shop specializing in decor and tchotchkes of a vintage nature. This vintage object, card and gift place is larger instead and more varied than it appears! If you don't know what you want--you will discover it after a heavy walk-around! From vintage to rugs to local cards and gifties to posters and paintings--you will find a reason to buy for others or yourself. Saw some great locally-made cool and funny cards (lots of Jewish or Yiddish-themed! A plastic coin purse that says "bagel money"!), a midcentury foot stool, a Woolworth's red baskets rack (!), flip books and lots of great home accents or possible gift items. Prices are reasonable. And, if you need help, the shopkeeper is knowledgeable about everything. Definitely a hidden gem of a place on Falls Road to browse for gifts or home accents that's easy to walk or drive by. Literally so cute! I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in but it was definitely worth the visit. Cute rugs, knick knacks, and antiques that are all relatively reasonably priced. My partner and I absolutely LOVE shopping at Wishbone! Glenn is legit the BEST. First of all, not only is he charismatic but he is an excellent sales person and a blast to talk to. The shop is so funky fresh. It has everything from unique gifts to stunning mcm furniture. All priced extremely fair and high quality. I could just get a coffee at "Good Neighbor" and get cozy on a couch and talk to the staff all day. Julie is so fun and sweet. It is the definition of customer service with a smile. I just moved to Baltimore and needed one more piece of furniture. I pictured it in my mind, but what I was looking for was significantly out of my budget everywhere I looked. I found out about Wishbone Reserve via social media and a certain piece immediately caught my eye. I went to the store that same day and made my purchase. Price was more than reasonable, and the two employees (owners?) who helped me - Ryan and Julie - were so friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with my purchase or with the customer service. My new place is now pretty much furnished, but I expect I will be returning to Wishbone Reserve from time to time to search for housewares/accessories and just to browse. read more

This place could be dangerous to my budget if I lived closer. So many interesting pieces here for both home, garden, and self, large and small - so, something for every one. I thought the rug selection was pretty good, and all the vintage-y chairs were very tempting. There was a huge mosaic "Laugh" sign near the register that was so unique! I live in Mount Washington and am happy to see this new addition to the neighborhood. Wishbone Reserve is . . I am not sure how to describe it. Not quite antiques, not quite trinkets, not overly high or low quality items, but just a bunch of mostly fun stuff for the house. From kitsch items to nicer glassware, the place is worth a visit. I have stopped in a couple of times, have made some small purchases, and enjoyed looking around. Typically I try not to get involved in the disputes of others, but I see there is some reviewer with a serious bone to pick. Based upon his several reviews, I assume he will just accuse me of being the owner. I invite people to look at my other reviews to demonstrate I am not. With that said, I walk by this store regularly and the only insulting tapestry I have seen is some hideous Steven Seagal wall-sized blanket. Man, that hurts the eyeballs. But no need to take my word for it; come by yourself and make up your own mind. read more

One of my new favorites! Awesome vintage finds-kitchenware, decoratives, memorabilia, clothes, jewelry and furniture. Great place for unique gifts and fun things to get for yourself, too. I got a super cute cat teapot (yes...they exist!) made in China circa pre-industrial period for $16, an old Bingo set with wooden pieces for $6, and a few other gifts for family and friends recently. Reasonable prices, friendly owners and parking. Definitely better than some vintage places in Hampden! read more

I absolutely adore Wishbone Reserve for many reasons! Not only are the ladies who operate it very knowledgeable of what goods they sell but are as sweet as can be. I have a very hard to shop for family member but I always come to wishbone because the owners will always help me find the right gift. Wishbone has a wide selection of unique items at various prices. The layout of the shop is also very nice, clean and easy to look at items without feeling clustered and very well curated. I love this place, with room after room filled with the lovely and/or funky: art treasures, mid-century furniture/pottery/dishes/glassware, international textiles/arts/crafts, vintage clothes/jewelry/accessories - prices ranging from dear to cheap. I especially loved the antique microscope lamps made by local students to benefit their school. Both co-owners are helpful, knowledgeable, good-hearted, and unbelievably hard-working. I drive by this place all the time but only stopped in this past weekend. So glad I did. Friendly owners and some great finds! Way varied inventory from antique to mid century vintage to funky and industrial. Looking for a pretty oriental rug, glass knobs for your doors, funky lighting or a crystal chandelier? You can find that here bc they have an eclectic inventory. The owners say their stuff changes all the time so I'll keep stopping by.
