This is a great market area located in Lynnfield. Once you get by the challenge of finding a…read moreparking spot, everything else is gravy. All kinds of stores and restaurants. Some of the top winners for me first of all is the Apple Store. You also have Trader Joe's and Legals.. the yard house is also great. And you have kings for entertainment. I haven't even got started there so many stores. It's a little challenging in the winter with the snow, but it's still a great place to come always has a great atmosphere going on. Anyway good luck with the parking where you're purchasing food to take home and cook or hitting one of the restaurants for drinks. There's a great tequila place that I like in the marketplace. I'm sure you can fulfill any clothing, shoes, hair, dye, restaurant, entertainment, etc., etc. check it out great place.

I can't say enough how poorly this shopping area was designed. We can start with the parking. You…read moredrive into a gauntlet of narrow rotary's, winding roads, angled parking, crosswalks galore, U turns, intersections coming out of nowhere and pedestrians having to cross across all of this to get from store to store, side to side. Aside from the common sense parking lots behind the buildings the whole traffic flow design is congested and treacherous! Perhaps little bridges to walk over the Storrow Drive of the North Shore would be a better thought out plan then having to walk in front of distracted drivers trying to find a place to park and/or the establishment they want to dine at! Also, the handicap parking is a joke. I tried taking my handicap mother to a restaurant, The parking space was still too far for her to walk from to the restaurant, we couldn't even pull up to a door to drop her off as there is nowhere to pull safely to the side to do this. So we had to eat someplace else. Besides that who thought an open air mall in one of the coldest places in the country was a good idea? I remember back in the 60's and 70's when they were enclosing malls, i.e. The North Shore Mall, it's a more pleasurable experience to be in a climate controlled environment when it's below freezing many months of the year. Once you get past the chaos of the driving and finding a parking space. You need to play "find the store I want to go to" unlike a mall where you walk straight down the center and the stores are all line up, there is buildings hiding behind other buildings. It's like a scavage hunt trying to find where you want to go, and it's not enjoyable when it's snowing, raining, icy or just too dang hot or cold! There is no rhyme or reason to any of this design. Also, for the most part, the stores are filled with pretentious bored housewives who many of them NOT ALL but mostly are too stuck up to help you.

If you are ever considering to work at Style Snoop... think again!! Beware of hostile work…read moreenvironment! The owner offers absolutely no support or concern for her employees. Here is my story, I worked here basically all summer, did everything for my boss with only one day of training.... she said she'd give us extra money if we picked up packages and dropped them off. I picked up and dropped off so many packages to try and be a good employee, never got any extra money like I was told. Along with that , she was doing a September Sales incentive where if you earned over $120 per sale , you'd get $10 Style Snoop Bucks. I made over $200 in sales, I made the most out of everyone working there and was super proud of my hard work and dedication to the store. After the month was over, I had 2 weeks left of work until my big move to LA. Unfortunately I got sick a couple days before my last day and had to call in sick. My boss was really upset and didn't believe that I was sick, told everyone I quit, (not true), told me to never come back , told me I didn't care about her store, told me I wasn't a good employee and never gave me my incentive. Never gave a young college student the money she earned , that is pretty terrible and selfish for an adult women to do. Basically punished me, all because I called out sick and it was such an inconvenience for her. Threw all my hard work out the window. All I can say is how can someone be so selfish. I felt like I could never go to her for questions or say any creative ideas I had because the way she'd speak to me, I felt like I could never do anything right and nothing ever satisfied her. I tried so hard to make everyone happy and do everything right and still no appreciation was ever shown. I truly would not recommend working here.

We had a bizarre and extremely unpleasant shopping experience here leading to this very long,…read moredetailed review. The short version is they refused to accept insurance even though they are in-network -- AFTER they confirmed our coverage, AFTER they pulled authorizations, AFTER we shopped, AFTER they rang us up with the insurance deduction. Very rude about it as well. My insurance company tried to intervene without success & Lunette never even responded after I filled out their own online customer service form. I will never return to this shop and I hope that no one else has such an awful experience at this chain. Lunette got me in the door as an in network VSP provider. But, I am not paying cash for something that I know, Lunette knows, and the insurance company knows is covered. If you don't like the contract reimbursement rate, please don't sign on to become an in-network VSP provider. Don't pretend that you can't take my insurance to get cash instead. Shame on Lunette. Full details ... I went in to look for sunglasses for my husband & daughter who do not need prescription glasses. Lunette is in network for VSP insurance & we have coverage which allows us to use our frame allowance for nonprescription blue light glasses or non prescription sunglasses (it's called LightCare and it's part of our regular VSP policy). A woman with glasses and short white blond hair (later found out named Jennifer) took my husband's and daughter's info from me and looked up our VSP insurance coverage on Lunette's computer system. She confirmed each of their benefit for non prescription sunglasses under our plan, as expected. I then called my husband & daughter to come join me from a nearby store to try on some pairs. They both shopped for about 15-20 minutes, picked out their sunglasses and left so I could pay and they could shop elsewhere. Jennifer seemed frosty to us while they shopped -- flat, no smiling -- but I didn't take this personally because anyone can have an off day. After they left, Jennifer once again confirmed that our selections were within our coverage and then she rang me up, deducting our insurance. I went to hand her my card to pay but asked about the balance -- it was slightly higher than expected. My questioning seemed to annoy her as it had to do with the taxes, co-pay, etc but said she needed to call her manager to find out. AND she said ... I don't even think we can take this insurance anyway. What? Yes, please call your manager because I'm certain this is covered and I'll call VSP. Jennifer went in the back, came out shortly and said my manager said we can't take your insurance! No apology. She was just rude, like she did not care at all that she wasted our time and would not take the insurance. In fact, she seemed smugly satisfied. I was in shock. AFTER confirming the coverage? AFTER ringing us up? AFTER pulling authorizations? AFTER actually deducting the insurance? I did not know what to say. They wanted me to pay fully out of pocket for something that was covered by my insurance?! No thank you. I was very confused and upset and just left the store. Meanwhile, I got through on my call to VSP. Heidi F. at VSP confirmed our coverage for these sunglass purchases ($200 allowance + 20% for anything additional) AND could see that Lunette had open authorizations. Heidi at VSP stepped in and called the store directly thinking it was just a simple mistake of not understanding how to complete the transaction. Nope -- not a mistake. She spoke to Jennifer, who did not budge. Heidi's hands were tied and she said we should absolutely shop elsewhere and use the insurance. She closed the Lunette authorizations and opened a VSP grievance. Again, shame on Lunette. So sketchy, dishonest, and under-handed. (Fortunately for us, after the Lunette debacle we ended up at Market Square Optical in Newburyport. It was a breath of fresh air. Adorable shop with a great selection of frames. We purchased the same 2 pairs of sunglasses and they happily accepted our insurance, nicely explaining the small out of pocket balance. They prove that an upscale eyewear boutique can also be friendly and professional, and treat customers with respect and kindness. Thank you Market Square Optical for saving the day, for valuing your customers and providing a lovely shopping experience.)
