Given how close it is to the highway, this location feels like an ideal pit stop during long drives. There's a convenience store on-site, though I can't comment on the restrooms since we only made a quick fuel stop. I decided to go back, because it is close to home. I wanted the $8.00 Wash and Wax. To my surprise? Not only was my car still a little dirty. It totally didn't look like it had been waxed. The Bumper was not washed at all. I ended up taking it to another car wash in Hammond and washed it by hand. This car wash needs to be upgraded. The Brushes and Flaps are probably wearing out.

At this point I'm done with this gas station. Not sure if these young girls think someone is attempting to ask for a phone number, if so they need to get over it seriously. Their use to be an older woman working the late shift. I loved going in when she worked. The lady had customer service. But I guess these young girls think they are too good to give customer service back. I'm only one customer of many, however one unhappy customer is one to many, and gas center just lost one. Finding diesel proved to be a daunting endeavor on the first Hammond exit we took, and we literally got dangerously low during our quest. Finally, after using the GasBuddy site, I saw Speedway listed, and hoped like heck the site was correct in listing it as having diesel. It was correct, and we were stoked. I'm giving this place five stars because their diesel saved our tushes (he literally put in just over 20 gallons in a 20-gallon tank!), and given how absolutely crowded the place was, I have to assume they run a great business. If you're reading this when looking to unearth diesel in Hammond, check them out!
