I stopped patronizing the Car Wash many years ago; Because (1) The lines were always too long. (2) People would get in line; Park their car, then go into the station to buy something. This was holding up the line and the customers in line were getting angry. (3) I never understood what that "Black stuff" was; That was left on the car after washing. (Now?) After several years? I decided to go back, because it is close to home. I wanted the $8.00 Wash and Wax. To my surprise? Not only was my car still a little dirty. It totally didn't look like it had been waxed. The Bumper was not washed at all. I ended up taking it to another car wash in Hammond and washed it by hand. This car wash needs to be upgraded. This store has the rudest staff I've ever experienced. I'm not sure if the owner loves young girls but that is all he hires. Maybe the owner feels young girls will draw customers, but with suck attitudes that will drive business across the way to Luke's gas station. Every time I go into Luke's across the street the men and ladies always speak back. But the rude young girls suck with customer service at gas center. I personally speak to anyone behind the counter. I use to manage a gas station one thing I preached was customer service. When someone ask how are you, speak and ask the customer the same. We want returning Customers. At this point I'm done with this gas station. Not sure if these young girls think someone is attempting to ask for a phone number, if so they need to get over it seriously. Their use to be an older woman working the late shift. I loved going in when she worked. The lady had customer service. But I guess these young girls think they are too good to give customer service back. I'm only one customer of many, however one unhappy customer is one to many, and gas center just lost one. Luke's has my business now. If I do visit gas center it will be when the rude young girls aren't working. read more

the gas station has low prices and good candy for my children it never goes bad after a few weeks. I seen a few yelp reviews saying the bathroom is dirty but that's the person who left it behind did It its not the managers fault its your fault also for those saying "they didn't let me use the coupon (Dwayne M) it was 2 days late you could of done that any day its not there fault ) what would you do if you were a owner for 28 years. read more

Ok Here is the deal! I went here today and brought the wrong kind of cigerettes for a friend..I hope they let me exchange them...I will write a follow up....But here is the real weird thing about this place...It' is a massive gas staion open 24 hours but I cannot find a phone number anywhere for them ...not even directory assistance has one...I will go in there after work today get a phone number and post it...how can a gas station have no phone number? it's just stupid that they have no phone number...anyway I will update and I will make sure I get a phone number or they will kick me out of the place... read more

Today I went to Gas Center, 15680 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312, 11/17/12 @ 10:27am, I purchased gas and paid for a $3.00 car wash, sat in line & then went through car wash and when instructed to I left to go and do my different tasks I had planned for the day. When I parked the car and got out I noticed my care was not clean. Dirt was still on the top, hood, and trunk lid of the car. After finishing my different task on my way home I stopped back at the station to get my car wash redone, about 1:27pm. Erica who claimed to be the only manager told me that I should have came back right away, did not look at the car and refused to give me another wash, I didn't ask for money just a rewash. She said since I waited and did not turn around and come right back, I could not have a rewash and there was nothing she or the owner would do to accommodate me. Gas is over $3.00 a gallon the car wash I paid for was $3.00, I was suppose to stop what I was doing turn around and go back, out of my way, to get satisfaction for something I already paid $3.00 to have done??? Trying to be reasonable with her didn't work, she actually laughed at me, which made me even more upset. I could have left the car dirty, as it still is, and put another gallon of gas in my car. Cheapest gas before hitting Chicago if you buy the car wash! I had been going to this gas station for over 10 years. I will never do business with them ever again! I attempted to use my car wash receipt, and the little boy working there literally laugh at me & told me that I was 2 days past due. This was February 19th. He told me that there were 31 days in December & 31 days in January, which meant that I was 2 days past 60 days. I asked him to give me a break because I was thinking that I had 2 months because I bought it on 12/19/15. He told me to back out, however, I couldn't see, because the other boy had soaped my back window. Thus, I hit the car behind me, I ruptured my muffler because I went over the edge because I couldn't see. When I talked to the so-called manager, she reiterated what the boy said. When I asked the so-called manager for their owner contact info, she gave 2 phone numbers that didn't work. To that end, I damaged my vehicle because they're too cheap to give me a break on a $5.00 car wash. They should had extended the time on my car wash on the time I tried to get a car wash, but was closed because of snow. I'm seeking a legal course of action on these assholes, since it's more important to them to turn a former loyal customer away in order to make $5.00. They can all go to hell! read more

I purchased the $11 car wash and it turned out great. The Simoniz hot wax really shined my car. And it felt like it was just hand waxed. I would recommend the car wash to everyone read more
