Very easy to go in and out, not as strict as large volume places like the Memorial or the pavilion. Sometimes games are paid some are not, bot sure what is determined by this. A basic ticket stand and a stand of some merch and food; give you the basics. There are bathrooms available inside. Enjoy the art-deco architecture. It opened in 1932. and named after a mathematician professor George C. Edwards. One can really sit anywhere as nothing is assigned but on a hot sunny day go for the top or the press seating. It's all wide open. The views are splendid with the campanile, the Big C, and southside; truly a 180-degree view. Food and drinks are permitted and nobody said anything even though the rules were posted. Love coming back as an alumnus to support my alma mater.

I also love when the Director attends a show and offers an audience Q & A afterwards. (That's the Elmwood's management going to bat for their customers, and we appreciate it!) They offer delicious uncontrolled substances from popcorn to wine, and whatever else you may like. All yummy. The theater is well kept and clean. Not everyone cares about that, but I do so I want to thank the Elmwood for going the distance on that score. Last but certainly not least: if you join (for free) their Movie Lovers club, you'll earn a free movie now and then (depending on how often you attend and how much wine and popcorn you buy). Today my ticket was on the house! Whoo hoo!

Maybe opt for one of the restaurants within a stone's throw? There is no parking, but street parking is fine-I found a spot on the same block.

If you are attending a GA show here, I recommend arriving when the doors open. We were able to get parking with ease right across the street and get in line. Bring a stadium cushion or seat with back support as long as there's no metal in it. They didn't seem to be super strict on bag sizes, I used a stadium approved clear tote. But I saw a lot of bigger totes and Trader Joe's shopping bags. Refer to the site for information on what you can bring in as far as water bottles, snacks and other items. Literally every seat is a good seat here!

Seats were first come first serve but its such an intimate setting that all seats are great in comparison to football stadium concerts. Bring some form of cushion for your butts! After posting a question to another Berkeley Facebook page I was informed that it was canceled due to a weather prediction (the weather was just fine). In past years, it has rained, but the fair still went on. In any case, why no communication? This must be awfully disappointing to the vendors and the rest of Telegraph Avenue shops that benefit from the foot traffic, as well.

I would recommend to sit higher up on the bleachers…read morebecause the first handful of rows gives you no views unless you like to see the players backs and just see the baseball flying. Usually a nice crowd pops up from time to time. They got plenty of food insight and even some merchandise. Outside there's a ticket booth and security. Try not to bring too much but it's usually laid back but don't quote me too much. You can sit anywhere and there's ADA seating as well. A nice sundown and some baseball with a beer I would call it a nice little evening. I believe on Tuesdays the hot dogs are two dollars. I like the little grassy area to sit and picnic behind home plate. If you're a UC Berkeley student the games are free with your student ID.
