Ordered an Eskimo Eskape 2600 2-Person Flip Shack and some accessories at the Canandaigua, NY store…read morewhich is almost 3-hours away. They were the closest Runnings that had these units in stock per their website. I received an email that part of the order was ready. I waited until I received a 2nd email indicating everything was available. I was well withing the time frame before they would cancel the order and put the items back in stock. When I arrived, the Eskimo Eskape 2600 2-Person Flip Shack was not available. They said that they only had one unit and not two and gave it to the person who ordered it in January. I don't believe them and think they just sold the unit I purchased and paid for instead of separating it. They told me my unit was "in transit". I was going to cancel the order and asked them if it is in transit, could they just ship it to the Gloversville Runnings. They said they could, but it would take another two weeks. Remember, this is an expensive seasonal item and can only be used for a short period of time each year. Normally when businesses screw up at this level, they offer some sort of compensation to make up for the trouble they caused. Runnings did not. At this point I am considering never shopping at RUNNINGS again. I am just so disgusted with them. My guess is they'll screw up the shipment to Gloversville RUNNINGs.

He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the plants I had questions about. On top of that, he's honestly pretty cute, which certainly didn't hurt the experience! He made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. I'll definitely be coming back for both the beautiful flowers and the excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

As a homeowner who relies on my Ryobi lawn equipment, being without my lawnmower during repair season was stressful. John personally reached out after my mower was brought in for service and went above and beyond by arranging for me to borrow a loaner lawnmower--something I understand had been discussed as a possibility but had never actually been implemented until my situation. That level of initiative and customer care saved me from having to hire someone to mow my lawn while waiting for repairs, and I was incredibly grateful. This wasn't my only experience with John's excellent service. He subsequently helped me navigate the replacement of a defective Ryobi battery through Ryobi, which was a huge help. Most recently, he took the time to troubleshoot my Ryobi weedwhacker, which he now has working beautifully. It's rare these days to find someone who is knowledgeable, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping customers.
