He was nervous when we dropped him off, and still edgy when we picked him up, but he didn't run for the door or try to hide. For that alone, we'd give them another shot, even if the grooming hadn't been top notch...but it really WAS! His nails were so long this time that we figured we'd have to bring him back several times before they were back where they needed to be. They not only clipped them to the perfect length, but also filed them smooth. He smells wonderful and wasn't itchy like he has been after some other washes at other places. I highly recommend them for your fur babies. They do a great job!

My sister made a reservation for Maxie and the mobile van showed up to pamper and clip the shaggy dog. The young lady, Olivia, arrived on time. Not knowing what to expect, I asked Olivia to let me know what she will be doing. Maxie will get a bath, full body haircut, nails trimmed, and hair between the paws trimmed. I walked Maxie to the mobile van and went back inside my house. Two hours later the doorbell rings and a groomed Maxie is waiting to come inside. Maxie looked and smelled great. Erin and the groomer listened to special needs (sensitive skin, etc.) and modified the services and products. I was provided a time estimate and notified I would receive a text message when the services were complete. Upon pickup, my dog looked (and smelled) great (and even had a bow on)! And, most importantly, she was clearly happy and well treated while in the care of Goin to the Dogs and Cats Pet Spa. If you're coming for cat products, you have some options, but not as much compared to the big chain stores. They even have a dog wash station! The self wash stations are available by appointment and also on a first come, first serve basis. The stations close at 6 pm Monday through Saturday and close at 4 pm on Sundays. Wash and dry time is limited to 30 minutes total per dog and costs about $15 per dog. Add on's (de-shed, for example) are available too. A rewards program is also offered in which you can obtain points and use them for a discount when a certain threshold in reached. Also, check their website for monthly promos, too! Lastly, we were also told they have two sister stores as well: Play Wash Pint (barks and brews) and Play Wash Stay (boarding and daycare). We look forward to checking out each one. Just love this place! Everything you need for your furry friends is here with exceptional staff, who are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They said when dogs are picked up after 12:00 noon, it's a 2-night boarding charge. That was sneaky! They failed to inform my mom of that policy when he was dropped off! He also had dog poo on his paw on pick-up, which she had to clean as well!
