Nancy or Marie ALWAYS returned phone calls , emails and texts within 24 hours if not the same day. From our first meeting, Nancy took control of the situation. I was a mess, the staff kept me calm throughout the whole process. I can not say enough good things about Ms Eaton and Marie Benjamin. if your tired of trying to get a hold of your attorney. if your tired of trying to do it yourself. If you're ready for integrity, honesty and accountability, give Ms Eaton and her staff a call. Thanks Ms Eaton for all your help. Michael Huls

This review documents the ongoing pattern of inaction, lack of urgency, and failure to meet basic…read moreprofessional standards exhibited by Nancy throughout her involvement in my case. Her conduct significantly harmed my ability to protect my rights and my daughter's well-being during a highly sensitive and urgent legal process. 1. Failure to Act During an Emergency I approached Nancy desperate and in an emergency situation involving my divorce and my daughter's safety. I made it clear that immediate legal intervention was needed. Despite the urgency, Nancy took no meaningful action to address the situation or to move the case forward. 2. Ignoring Violations of the Temporary Orders I repeatedly informed Nancy about multiple violations of the Temporary Orders, providing details and evidence. She failed to: * file any motions, * advise me on immediate remedies, * notify the court, * or take any steps to enforce the orders or protect my parental rights. Her lack of response left me vulnerable during moments that required urgent legal action. 3. Failure to Present Key Evidence in Court One of the most serious issues was that Nancy did not present crucial evidence in court, evidence that was necessary to support my claims, demonstrate the violations, and show the pattern of behavior affecting my child and this case. This omission directly weakened my position and affected the court's ability to fully understand the facts. 4. Lack of Follow-Through and Progress Throughout her time on my case, Nancy did not prepare essential filings, did not follow up on critical issues, and did not provide a timeline or structure for how we would proceed. The case stagnated under her management. 5. Poor Communication Nancy consistently failed to respond promptly to messages--sometimes not responding at all--especially when the matters were time-sensitive or related to court deadlines. This forced me to handle complicated legal issues without proper support. 6. No Strategy or Guidance Despite my requests for direction, she did not offer a clear strategy, actionable advice, or explanation of the steps needed in my case. I was left without proper representation during a complex legal process. 7. Withdrawal Only After Being Confronted It was only after I confronted her about her inaction and lack of results that she expressed the desire to withdraw from my case. This timing demonstrates avoidance of accountability rather than a professional decision made in my best interest. 8. Harm Caused to My Case Because of her negligence: * evidence was not presented, * violations were ignored, * deadlines were missed or delayed, * and my legal position was weakened unnecessarily. Her inaction caused avoidable stress, confusion, and disadvantage at critical moments. Conclusion Nancy's failure to act during an emergency, her refusal to address violations of the Temporary Orders, and her omission of key evidence in court represent serious breaches of professional duty. This review is submitted to document the harm caused by her inaction and to ensure that future representation meets the standard required to protect my rights and my daughter's well-being.

This happened way too much. And he never returned a phone call. Convinced me to give in when I shouldn't have because all most attorneys care about is money not when a child was being victimized and abused by the other person. Nothing was accomplished not even when my son was kidnapped. Don't waste your money. I would rate at a zero.

As you can see, this law firm is a hit and miss, promised aren't followed through, prices arent bad…read morebut aren't good either for the services given, 4 years 2 months later to get convicted on a misdemeanor that was told id have cleared if I signed for a felony and he looked confused as if he never said that(stapler) two extra misdemeanors that I was completely innocent on that I wanted off my record because I had a whole notarized letter with the state of Texas stamp of approval and a confession from someone else, I was not considered innocent. Only thing that he got me as promised was the felony deal. All in all he wasn't the only problem or maybe he could be who knows, bell county does not recognize and notarized confession with their stamp of approval so obviously bell county, all the judges and prosecutors are pathetic and a joke themselves, they tried to go back on a deal that was signed for a year and a half and throw me in the system as well, the only good part I definitely will say is that stapler kept those fools from locking me up clearly disregarding their deals that they proposed. But once again this is 4 years and 2 months for a weed and gun case, the law firm is pretty pathetic for taking that long to close a simple case like this and bell county court is pathetic and should be embarrassed and investigated by how they go about their due process. Both sides are pretty bad but the law firm had its half decent moments. My advice to anyone in bell county. If you got court in bell county go get you a lawyer that is not from this county because these losers in that building are all "buddy buddy, let's get along because we work together and play golf together" etc type of people, find you a real lawyer that doesn't see prosecutors every day and after 5pm at the bar. So you can have real justice in your favor.

Absolutely NOT!!!! If I could give a negative star rating it…read morewould still be too high. After hiring this office, at first, everything went routinely enough. Met with my lawyer Thomas and got all the information hashed out. We went to court and both parties agreed on the terms of the divorce, the split of assets, and had everything read into the court record in front of the judge which he (the judge) signed off on. Done deal right? All I have to do is wait on is the required separation period, sign the paperwork, and it's done, right? WRONG!!! I waited and watched the docket listings for my up-coming case via http://www.co.bell.tx.us/BCC/civilsearch.htm where all court cases are made available to the public. For a month I watched that date get closer and waited for a phone call from the lawyer's office. No call. Two weeks prior to the appearance date, I called the office to "check in". They had no clue! I found out that my first lawyer had left the firm nearly a month prior. They were totally unaware of the upcoming date and a couple of days later they called me in for a "follow up" to make sure we were on "on the same page". In the "follow up" to make sure we were "on the same page", Tisdale knew nothing about my case. I had to go through the whole case again, even though it was ALREADY DONE. Then the day before court I was notified that the date got pushed. No biggie, it happens..... New date set and tracked. I take public transit to the courthouse at 6am to be there for 9am. Tisdale is a no show. I call the office, and after 45 minutes of waiting, I'm told "Oh, the other party's lawyer had to cancel because he had a criminal trial today." When I finally did get to court again, a different lawyer (Baker) shows up. Apparently, Tisdale was on vacation that day. Baker didn't know anything about the case other than it was a divorce. I had to go over the whole case a third time,,, IN THE COURTHOUSE, RIGHT BEFORE STANDING IN FRONT OF THE JUDGE. The other party's lawyer tried to weasel me with "clarifications" (i.e. alimony) he wanted to be amended into the original court recorded and judge approved agreement with which Baker had no problem. I had to raise my own BS flag, show all the documents and explain that the case was already settled and just needed to be closed out. We had to get the courthouse to print up the original transcript from Jan 2018. I even had to supply the near-final draft of the divorce decree written up by Thomas seven months prior from MY thumb drive in order to make sure it got closed out that day. All in an open and shut divorce case took 8 months everything to was agreed to and read into the record in front of the judge to close out. The absolute only thing this law firm was on time and on point for was billing my bank account every month for its retainer fee, and if the funds weren't there I got an immediate email alert that day. Doubt me not, I have retained all the email correspondences, attachments, bank statements, receipts, and phone records to back everything up. Oh, final note. While I was going through all this on the final day, Baker had the gal to ask about my politics in order to solicit for my vote since he was running for state office for this region.
