Her lack of response left me vulnerable during moments that required urgent legal action. 3. Failure to Present Key Evidence in Court One of the most serious issues was that Nancy did not present crucial evidence in court, evidence that was necessary to support my claims, demonstrate the violations, and show the pattern of behavior affecting my child and this case. He came in looking like the weekend was rough, acted like it was a privilege to see him, talked down to us, and would not THOUROUGHLY read ANY of the stacks of documents we had. He kept cutting us off in the middle of trying to explain why we needed assistance. I called and got told to come in, when they could have said "No". I came with all documents. Mr. Beatty comes in the room looking like I interupted the company picnic. It was a 1pm appointment and he strolls in about 1ish. All of this could have been handled over the phone. His office could have taken the time to tell us they weren't equipped unwilling unstead of having me drive all the way down there. I also found it odd I never got a call to confirm my appointment and when I get there I have to ring a bell. He doesn't know what a potential client went through or their mental state. He wasn't concerned. He was focused on getting us out his door like we were bothering him. He already had his mind made up before walking in the room. He lacked any sense of compassion or manners. We maybe were able to squeeze one single 30 min meeting in RIGHT before our hearing to discuss the facts (which we shared with Chet and his team over the phone and they seemed to forget everything that was discussed). Needless to say, we lost. There were very pertinent things that were not done...subpoena of background checks...evidence that should've been presented that were waived off. Please do your due diligence before hiring any lawyer.
