Too many damn commercials. If set your watch to it there is 30 min. of talk and 30 min of ads each and every hour. No lie. Most host are decent. Vinces show at 12pm is the best, then Chris Plant at 9Am The new guy Derick Hunter at 3pm is boring as hell and just rambles and rarely is interesting. Mark Levin at 6pm always crabby and nasty ends up propping up jews and talking about his second home Israel. Nobody wants to hear that sh!t everyday. read more

I listen daily & love them all however there are other platforms that "refrain" from running the gambling advertisements which I find to be insulting...every 15 minutes. The ad makes it sound so exciting and easy to win....and you can up your bet if you have "a hunch". Imagine being able to pay your electric bill etc with on line gambling winnings...but then again maybe not! However, if you find yourself approaching bankruptcy they provide an 800# you can call. As a result I often change the stations and recommend Todd Starnes Mighty 990 out of Memphis. Otherwise WMAL rocks! read more

Chris Plante is sometimes a compelling and persuasive radio personality, but his biases are often too evident to allow for any pretense of objectivity. For example, Chris is an unabashed shill for Israel, and there is no atrocity it commits for which he does not have an excuse or an explanation. We send Israel between three and four billion dollars of our tax money every year -- spent by them to fund their war machine and to colonize land mandated by the U.N. to be a Palestinian homeland -- and as our reward we get the rage of a billion Arabs directed at us. Some of that rage is legitimate, whatever Mr. Plante pretends. Anyone who disagrees with Mr. Plante's positions gets pilloried as an "anti-Semite," "racist," etc. He decries the puerile tactics of the Left in regard to its use of such smear labels, but uses them himself, despite the comical illogic of attacking Semitic or Arab critics of Israel as "anti-Semitic." In his mind, criticisms of any misdeeds of Israel's government are the same as "hating Jews," and this is obviously a scare tactic intended to limit or fend off legitimate discussions. In the same way, there are other discussion topics that are no-go zones that Mr. Plante himself will not enter; while he will discuss illegal immigration, I have yet to hear him talk about the implications of today's massive legal immigration, which presents problems of its own. For example, by spurring rapid population growth in the U.S., legal immigrants also help fuel overpopulation, urban sprawl, resource depletion, environmental destruction, infrastructure deterioration, ethnic balkanization, etc. Without a million people arriving on our shores legally every year, the U.S. population would have stabilized already. This kind of discussion, however, doesn't occur on Mr. Plante's show. Perhaps he is excessively worried about the rhetoric getting out of control; after all, he is always bleating about minutiae like the colons and other punctuation marks used by Leftists in their editorials. In any event, these things suggest moral courage, a reasonable measure of objectivity, and logic are not strong attributes for Mr. Plante. And after a while, all of the ranting, pontificating, and punctuation analysis becomes soggy and wearying. Chris is a smart, personable, and articulate guy. He is entitled to hold the political opinions he holds. But now and again he also needs to examine subjects from new angles, push the envelope a little, and work up some new material. read more

When is WMAL going to get rid of Sanja Gupta, that fake doctor who invoked the 25th Amendment on President Trump but won't go near commenting on Biden's obvious mental deficiencies? Gupta is just a liberal and it's hard believe he is a real doctor. I turn the radio off when Gupta comes on. Otherwise, WMAL is great. read more

While I can't comment on the building itself or the what its like to work there I am a dedicated listener to their staition on am630 and now FM 105.9. One of my favorite shows starts @ 9am with Chris Plante and continues on through to 3pm with Rush Limbaugh. They have a few different ads during the comercials for some of the local buisness so its nice to know who's out there and that they're and advertiser on WMAL read more

I have been listening to WMAL for over 20 years. Chris Plante and most of the others are excellent at informing us of current events. The only exception is Michael Savage. Why an otherwise quality station would put this conspiracy lunatic on the air is beyond understanding. I use that time to listen to my IPod. WMAL, wake up. The guy is a nut job. I would have given the station a 5 rating if it wasn't broadcasting this lunatic. read more
